321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fear for empty balance in future.. on: July 11, 2018, 10:47:32 AM
I am very afraid for my crypto balance. At present I have some coin.I brought this coin previous december month. But at this time my balance to become very small. So I feel fear for see empty balance in future.Any one can advice me now what i am doing. Will I sell or hold my coins?

This decision will depends on you. A word of advice to you is enter the market only when you are ready. I assume you enter  crypto is due to the hype that happened at last quarter of last year that caused your portfolio to have a big drop now. Invest only with the amount you are comfortable to lose, investing is not a sure win thing, losing is inevitable. For me i will choose to hold the coins i have even a big percentage is lost as i only invest with extra money that i am comfortable to lose.

330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: April 27, 2018, 03:32:20 AM
I'm just like a poor gambler, a few years ago i lose alot bitcoin and litecoin on gambling. Greedy, make me lose alot in gambling site. Since then i stopped because i'm not a gambling expert. The definition of experts in my opinion is the person who always win or always make a profits.

You can't really master it because no one can study on how luck works. Those experienced traders just know when to stop and has mastered controlling their greed so they won't lose too much.

Greed is the biggest factor which takes away the people their winning amount and finally may even end up losing at the end of the day. Everyone thinks that they could still play from the profits made and can make more money and in this greed people lose out a lot unfortunately and regret later about their decision. But people who can control their emotions and greed are the one who are best at it to win and get away from it.

I agree to your view point, i think all the casinos make use of this psychology aspect in everyone to make money from gamblers on matter if they are winning or losing in the end the outcome is they are the ones that will benefit in long run.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: April 27, 2018, 03:26:35 AM
I think,  the best strategy for win is a little goal. My experience often was, that I won a little and then lost. So I stop now at little gains and take the little profit.
why not if you can earn profit in this way then do it never try to earn so much in just one day because you will lose after some time make few % daily and slowly double your bankroll with a more safer way if you are gambling always do it with less profit the higher you aim the more you lose
i don't think it still could be a working strategy , no matter how much you set a winning target.

sooner or later with its -EV your winning will get back to zero and even more losses to come. gambling are not game of money only , but it is game of time where usually you given the winning at first to lure you make more money deposited and it is work everytime to fool you.

Don't you think that on provably fair sites that solely depends on luck? No one is making that you win a bit at first to make you deposit more money. I understand your logic. This is how the cheating casinos were acting back in the old days. But now, if you play on provably fair gambling sites, there is no such thing there.

What happening to people in this scenario is most probably the act of human feelings being greedy, stake higher since my luck is booming and is a good opportunity don't let it go to waste.

We all know that gambling is wrong. It's not for a long term profit. It only gives us hope to win or lose. We don't have the assurance to have a daily income in gambling. It might bring us also to addiction that will make our lives miserable. I experienced because of gambling my family became worst bring us to a broken home. My husband left us an get another wife. That's why for  me gambling is wrong.

Sorry to hear about your sad past. However do you ever realize that gambling actually is not really bad if you play it with a limit to yourself? I suppose you play with no limits to land yourself in such a bad experience in the past.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: April 27, 2018, 03:13:55 AM
For a very long time I have heard people asked this question and I have always said why quit, why don't you stop. There're tons of advice here but honestly most of them won't work. It was at this moment I discovered this book You can heal your life by Louis hay. If you want to stop gambling, or any other thing this is the book to read, I'm 100% sure everyone shall benefit as the problem is within us and not gambling.
religion may be a factor to quit gambling because I know gambling was prohibited and Sin according to religion. that's the one make me quit gambling.
In addition, if can get more money without gambling, I am sure they will stop gambling and focus on the way.

From what you say does that means as long as the person is a very religious person, he will quite whatever the religion forbids him in doing? Most people gamble because of money but i think there is still a minority gamble for some other reasons don't you think so?

How does one Put down Gambling for good?

Get away from gambling as far as possible. After a period of time you will slowly lose the addition for it just like how you cure drug addiction. Another way is putting more time getting together with your family or your love ones which can makes you feel happy and you will slowly kick gambling or forget about it.

336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: April 26, 2018, 04:41:48 PM
as I know experience is important in some gambling games such as poker, but how about the other games like dice game or roulette, do you gain any advantage from your experience, can you used your experience to win the game? or maybe because of your experience you know whether to bet low or high in dice game

So Does Experience matter to you?

I does not think that games like dice and roulette will have any advantage whether you have the experience or not, as long as you have a basic understanding of how it work is sufficient for you to win in this game unless games like poker.

This is a question both good and bad must see how you look at it. If you always set a limit to your gambling game it is a new way for you to plat your game and if you are trading crypto it will be more convenient to you compare to you going to casino and gamble. At the same time if you are someone who is always over betting in your game then you must be wary of this new alternative to tempt you into the game. Gambling in the first place is just a game but people always is too engross in a game so slowly gambling become a bad game.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: April 26, 2018, 01:44:07 PM
Hi guys!
It's often discussed here that you can't make any money from gambling, but in general it's just not true. House edge is usually quite low so the most of the money go back to players. Of course some one wins more than he bet, some one wins less and loses in the end. It's all about luck. I am sure that the most of you was lucky at least once and made some nice money. So my question goes here: How did you spend this money? Did you buy some presents for your close ones? Did you buy something for you? Did you invested it, saved it or even put back into gambling (and then made even more or lost it?)?

When i win money on gambling table i will buy luxury items to pamper myself. When i lose i will just treat it as a fee to enjoy a hobby or an interest as i always play with a limit in my mind and will not cross the line.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: April 26, 2018, 12:42:03 PM
If you have a high tendency to not stop until busting, then I came across these tips which do help:

  • Don't put all your available bankroll directly in the game (in case you're using deposits). Leave always at least half outside as a security measure if you go bust.
  • One must stop after reaching a certain goal, The goal should be predetermined and shouldn't be changed during the play.
  • If you're doing really good, withdraw part of your earnings (if you can, ofc) to avoid losing it all in one go.

Having a big bankroll can make you feel falsely safe in that "oh I'll just keep increasing my bet until I win" but alas, the 30 reds in a row do exist, and will come. Do not let them take it all.

The goal you make should be realistic and firm, Don't change it or else be prepared to face bad consequences.

You gotta fight back the voice that screams inside your brain "Come on, double again and we recover!".

Anyone can stop gamble easily is whether the user want it to happen or not. Often people will not want to stop no matter if you are winning or losing, mainly is due to human feelings that is doing the magic. When winning we would not want to waste this good opportunity to make more money, when losing we either double or even triple the amount to win back what we lose. At that moment most probably the gambler mind will only be fill with how to profit more and how to get back what he lose. Just don't overspend on your earnings and when you starting giving people problems you should start to stop what you are doing.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: April 26, 2018, 12:18:12 PM
What will you do if after losing several times in gambling, you are left with only small amount of money and that money will be for your fuel or for transportation, will you still continue with the little you are left with? What if you lose?

I will go all in either double or nothing, but before you follow my way of gambling the last chip you have in hands do be prepare to be on the street tonight or some corner, just not your comfort home.
