The current market is very unclear, and I hope that as in last year, the price of tokens will rise rapidly.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if Bounty is scam? on: September 10, 2018, 02:36:10 AM
Before participating in a bounty event, you must investigate the true level of the project team. Normally, the pay and return are equal.

Too much ICO is coming out!  I believe there are some scammers who are taking advantage of this and will run with the money. There are some serious one, Which may take ages to reach the mission or give up in the middle. Investors carry a lot of risk by investing it.
327  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Wallet addresses and keys in electrum or blockchain apps on: March 26, 2017, 03:42:00 AM
But if I need this info to create a wallet on a market place and don't have accesss to anything else than a phone, what do I do?
You can use your phone's browser to use online wallet like blockchain.info, you could easily use it and get your public key to receive funds.

330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: March 25, 2017, 06:27:26 AM
No, we shouldn't do that. Although bitcoin have a lot of potential, but the short term fluctuation risk shouldn't be ignored. Especially for the new comers, they cannot stand this kind of loss in their accounts. If you are not comfortable with this kind of loss, I suggest you to buy small amount. Current its hottest debate is around the BU and Core. Bitcoin may fork in the near future.  Bitcoin is dumped in recent days.

Lending website of bitcoinconnect is a ponzi and research before buying these garbage.
How do you know that? Please provide concrete proof before throwing out accusation? They seems to be doing serious business and expand their market to Vietnam and China.

333  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: electrum sends low fees all the time on: March 25, 2017, 05:24:46 AM
If you are not sure whether you client estimate the fees well, you could check https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ to see the fastest fees. If not, you could adjust the fees easily.
334  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum wallet won't receive bitcoin and there is no pending under history on: March 25, 2017, 05:17:46 AM
Coinbase is slow to process your transactions and send your withdrawal to your provided address. It is the third party service. Even you paid high fees, they hasn't send btc yet, high fees mean nothing.

336  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What we can do to confirm transactions faster? on: March 21, 2017, 11:59:14 AM
If you are not patient enough to wait until the transaction is confirmed. Try making your fees increased and do not base on the regular fee. But, if you are only transacting low amount. The transaction should be confirmed easily. But, if the transaction has a big amount, you should put a higher fees also to make the transaction faster. There are also other ways to confirm your transaction faster, you can try to look at this site:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/3-solutions-instant-bitcoin-confirmations/
The amount of needed fees to get tx included in the next blocks is not based on the amount of the sending, it is about the size of the transactions. More inputs or outputs will increase the to size.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Idea to avoid high fee on: March 19, 2017, 06:01:48 AM
The fees for Bitcoin transactions are equal or bigger than those for bank transactions, that means that there is enough demand for Bitcoin transactions for those fees to be being paid. That would mean that Bitcoin is succeeding magnificently, the exact opposite of collapsing.
It's like seeing a restaurant that's always crowded (fully-packed), and asking "Is that restaurant about to go out of business? It's too crowded to keep operating!" In actuality, the restaurant is prospering, not on the brink of bankruptcy.
In other words, if you begin with the assumption that fees in Bitcoin are super-high, you are implicitly assuming that there is super-high demand for bitcoins, i.e. that Bitcoin is doing super-well.
Yes, you are right.  In such a situation users were waiting hours for transactions getting included in a block before the purchased products got delivery. what will they think about? If I were him, I would switch to other payment method.
338  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Sending Fee on: March 19, 2017, 05:38:02 AM
Hey there.  I don't mind waiting just a bit.  But when you transfer $500 and it cost $0.55 and say you do this say 10 times a day for example, that surely would add up.  I only do a few transfers a week etc but i definitely dont mind it taking a bit of time if i dont need the btc sent there immediately etc.

But why was it back then when i sent a bigger amount of bitcoin, my fees were only like under 15 cents etc?

Also i heard Viabtc txaccelorator.  Does that work for electrum etc?

Lately the network has been fairly congested and higher fees have been needed for confirms to happen in a timely manner. The fees will grow based on the number of inputs and size of the transaction, but the actual value doesn't matter.

ViaBTC accelerator will work for any transaction and it can help speed up transactions with lower fees. I wouldn't rely on it though as using correct fees is definitely a better approach.
ViaBTC has 100 tx submission limit in one hour. Even you submit it successfully and have to wait the next mined block by ViaBTC pool, which will take dozens of mins to hours. So there is no guarantee when your tx will be confirmed.

340  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC.com Transaction Accelerator on: March 17, 2017, 05:57:05 AM
I still hate the fact that they don't accept bitcoin as a payment method because this doesn't make much sense but I like the gesture they made recently:

Quote
Refund: If your transaction is not confirmed within 12 hours, we will fully refund to you automatically. Refund will be transferred back to your card in 10 ~ 15 days. This policy is not applicable to the transactions which are removed or double-spent during the acceleration process.

This will make more people use this service when they need this urgently and in the same time, they have guarantees that their transactions will either get confirmed or they get refunded instead.

I would prefer to increase the fees rather than pay overprice, moreover use visa.
With 0.0008 btc/kb you can get confirmation around 30 minutes (if the network passable deserted) or over 2 hours (if the network crowded).

I think if they have serious business, they need to change the payment use bitcoin, because we use bitcoin as well.
agree. We have third bitcoin tx accelerator now sosobtc
