321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I will never sell my Alts for loss: Prefer to take them to the cemetery! on: December 13, 2018, 02:56:24 AM
What a really encouraging remarks. The strong hands will gain the advantage if sometime in the future prices will be favorable again. This is a good way to encourage people to keep the spirit alive. But I would like to warn that this should be done only if you don't really need your coins or money at all.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: December 12, 2018, 01:16:54 PM
Maybe or maybe not as their is still hope for cryptocurrency. The only problem that hinders the idea of bitcoin being treated like a gold is the way we look at it today. If we will use it for a good purpose and for a good reason then we can create a real market so that people will never change their minds. The problem is that there was too much FUD and their were too many who are just holding coins and never really trying to make it usable in a realistic market. This is the missing piece for progress of bitcoin.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bill Gate against investing into bitcoin? on: December 12, 2018, 09:10:55 AM
They are not just any individual they great businessman who have the best knowledge almost about everything that may be worth investing to them. And because of this idea, It might be that they have really studied bitcoin before saying anything about it whether if it is good or not. If he thinks he cannot earn as much compared to his business then it is possible that he would never participate on it. And also if Bill Gates have not participated in cryptocurrency investments, then maybe he didn't even need to invest at all because he was really rich as of now.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What If Nothing Change In 2019? on: December 12, 2018, 08:08:18 AM
You don't have to worry as much because if you say people have increase usage on the block chain, it is for certain that it will eventually allow cryptocurrency to move up again but as to the date when, I think it would take a bit longer. It's almost as if everything is really restarting down below its previous price before the pump up.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first risk-free ICO with money back guarantee on: December 11, 2018, 01:30:40 PM
I just think that this could be just one of the ways to revive the market after it has fallen below what everybody seems to consider the bottom. With more ICOs promoting assurance I think many will certainly buy an opportunity to earn. With this an a good plan it is for certain that we might have at least gain something and not just waist our money to nothing.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: New investor and prices on: December 11, 2018, 11:44:51 AM
Certain prices go up with demands or the volume of coins being used. If there would be less investors or few people holding the coins the lower the prices for the coins will be. Everything in cryptocurrency about pricing still falls under the laws of supply and demand. Therefore the bigger the investments the bigger will be the changes and the higher will be the price.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bill gates says cryptocurrency is bad on: December 11, 2018, 08:39:01 AM
In his own reddit AskMeEverything page, https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/80ow6w/im_bill_gates_cochair_of_the_bill_melinda_gates/

He answers about cryptocurrency stating
“The main feature of crypto currencies is their anonymity. I don't think this is a good thing. The Government’s ability to find money laundering and tax evasion and terrorist funding is a good thing. Right now crypto currencies are used for buying fentanyl and other drugs so it is a rare technology that has caused deaths in a fairly direct way. I think the speculative wave around ICOs and crypto currencies is super risky for those who go long.”

He isn't wrong in his sense, if the cryptocurrency is to have a future, they should be able to create an environment of trust between themselves and the authorities.

There are two sides of a coin, depending on how one flips it in a direction that might be catastrophic to others and one's self or to the good side of it. The invention of a cryptocurrency is good and there was no planned harm for inventing it. It is actually similar to how weapons are made to protect us from harm. But same weapons may not be good to others or the person using it. The technology used by cryptocurrency may be beneficial to many though concerns about anonymity is always a question of whether it is really good or not. The only person who can really tell is the person using it because we have the power to choose between doing good or evil.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: What profit has brought you to bitcoin? on: December 10, 2018, 04:21:20 PM
My brother-in-law brought me to the world of bitcoins. I first learn about this maybe around year 2015 when my computer was hit by a virus that asks for a ransome to the files that were encrypted by the virus. It asked me to buy bitcoin. Later around two years after I heard about how familiar it then came to be and also heard that many of  my brother-in-law's friends and workmates have became rich. That was the time when I did also join bitcoin.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: Price stability on: December 10, 2018, 01:41:14 PM
I think the whole idea why the cryptocurrency had dropped is not about the lightning network that could boost the processes to make more effective. The whole idea is about the current status of the market and how so many people really had been using bitcoin just for holding the coins and not even using it actually in a realistic way. This creates a  real problem because as people suddenly changes their minds and convert their coins back to fiat, it would certainly affect the prices and thus others may follow out of fear especially if they are doing just the same. If only bitcoin was used for actual usage it would have change its value easily back to ATH. So I think we need to boost real usage to avoid this scenario in the future. But worry not so much I know we are just beginning and real usage will come after this for sure.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Strong hands VS Weak hands, who will win? on: December 10, 2018, 09:38:22 AM
Weak hands lose their money and strong hands keep the faith waiting for their chance maybe several years from now. It is in waiting and patience that one person may gain the biggest advantage. The only disadvantage though is until when. Like what we have seen on the prices of bitcoin today. Weak hands may have lose a little because they immediately sell their coins but strong hands may have a hard time and a heartache looking at how the prices have dropped but no worries because sometime in the futures prices will go up again. It is a cycle and all you have to do is wait and wait.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto capable of making the world go digital? on: December 10, 2018, 08:30:16 AM
I have no doubt about this, time will come certainly when everything will go digital and those manual methods will almost be like obsolete technologies of the past. As time progresses the digital age of cryptocurrency had started to embrace these ideas that for us to move on we must learn to live with computers and its related technologies to make life easier. I see some post talking about the use of block chain in almost any way to guarantee safe use of information, for anonymoust transactions and many other things which may become the basis of the new digital world in the future.
332  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you think about crypto currency issued by the government? on: December 09, 2018, 09:36:50 PM
Well if this is true this should create new opporyunities in this side of the technological advances. Maybe it could boost cryptocurrency usage and as well may destroy small cryptocurrencies because it is certain that this would create a real competition among cryptocurrency usage.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: December 09, 2018, 04:14:55 PM
I am not against holding coins as this can be a better way to earn money in a passive way but it is not the most appropriate thing to do as of now because recovery is uncertain. What if the market will even fall very low and recovery would take a very long time to accomplish? So if you really need your money sell your altcoins so that we may also see what is the real volume of usage and from there know the real status of the altcoin.
334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Zero? on: December 09, 2018, 02:08:45 PM
Surely this article is a bit funny as bitcoin is quite impossible to go that low given how useful it is. But granting it will fall even more it will be to the level where people will be using it not for holding the coins as an investment but for utility. I am cetain that there will be users and  If bitcoin will still be utilized regularly it will survive this instability as of now and eventually will go up again.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Even people in here now give up on Bitcoin on: December 09, 2018, 12:10:06 PM
Bitcoin really needs sometime to recover. We have seen how people have been so affected by the FUD that goes raoming around anywhere. The next gold is like no more. The system nevertheless gives us the best opportunities for a secured payment system but the wrong methods of investing made its way towards this unfavorable situation. Now it is time to learn how use it as it was intended to be.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buterin is preparing to leave Ethereum. on: December 07, 2018, 01:53:05 PM
Such announcement is really bad for the ethereum community. Even if it continues to exist doubts will still be around to make the FUD go stronger. I just hope he will, as a creator stand until the end of his creation. Though this might be just some fake new but should this be really true this will certainly create as negative impact among investors and holders. Hope he will have to stay to keep things alive...
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's strength is that nobody can crack it yet on: December 07, 2018, 03:08:37 AM
And it will remain so for a long time.
No government, no parties can effectively ban it and put their hand on it. They would have to ban internet first. Not likely.
That would be the end of free world we know.

Internet with all its usefulness or utility will never be banned. And so if cryptocurrency will be as useful as the internet it  will continue being relevant and useful to people. No government would want to end such a useful technology. But should bitcoin be hacked then that might affect its use or perhaps ends its existence.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should NOT determine the market on: December 06, 2018, 09:04:55 PM
The bitcoin system does not control the market and all other cryptocurrencies. People do. When people decided by themselves that it is no longer worth the risk to continue with bitcoin on a given time. They would decide to withdraw some of their coins which resulted to others doing the same like a chain reaction thinking that prices may go down as well even if it is an altcoin. FUDs played a very big role for this. It creates panic when there is no need to. Also another thing I could think of is that many have trusted bitcoin due to available support like bitcoin ATMs which means that they would often use this device as the last step of the process of withdrawing money from altcoins to bitcoin and thus as a result bitcoin movements maybe more similar to the altcoins as if bitcoins control the entire cryptocurrencies.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or EOS? which coin will survive? on: December 06, 2018, 01:54:42 PM
While it is good to predict which coin will survive, I think it is more appropriate to examine first the reason why you want to have either of this coins for holding. On my opinion it doesn't really matter that much which coin remains or is better than the other, what matters most is how do you intend to use or use any of these coins. Using them just for holding and aiming for a profit would only cost others to lose as much. The reason is simple, take a look at what happens now! Fake demands or usage will only create volatility of the coin and or in a larger view would create a sort of a bubble. We don't want this to happen so that use this coins properly that would matter most.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: Banking is Dead… Long live Blockchain Banking! on: December 06, 2018, 12:48:09 PM
This seems to be a good idea but as of now during this times when the market is unfavorable, I think the market is not that good for holding bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. There might be problems with the values of the coin. Not unless cryptocurrency banks can guarantee a no price fall set up. Yet I think this is no possible unless banks would connect to the real value of dollar  as reference so that bitcoin holdings or deposit may vary but the actual value will not and will stay the same even if price of bitcoin drops.
