Nice journey! People have been going over the same old topics for too long in this forum. Refreshing to see a new kind of constructive post!
PS. You write like you're posting an article for SEO purpose.
LOL. Thanks! I actually know absolutely *NOTHING* about SEO, but I like trying to make my 'constructive' posts 'pretty' and with links so at least it's easier to read or 'click' on something. Or maybe it's just my writing-style... I dunno. Cheers, Kermee

Is there anyone here with good camera skills, and willing to take some good quality pics of my coin? These aren't quality pictures, but I thought you might enjoy them: My 'traveling' *Novelty* Bitcoin...Cheers, Kermee

After RSantana started selling his 'novelty' Bitcoin from CoinedBits, I decided I would take it along with me everywhere I go when I'm using funds/profit from mining bitcoins. Note that I'm not paying directly in bitcoins, but have exchanged for USD to spend. I'm going to start a little photo diary here just for the fun of it. Today, it was at the 37th Annual Ballard SeafoodFest in Seattle, WA. You can't go to the Ballard SeafoodFest in Seattle, WA without missing the authentic Nordic Viking Boat, which is kept by the Nordic Heritage Museum. I thought it would be appropriate to have my Bitcoin pose a picture with it: Cost: 0 BTCI then proceeded to get some grub:Items
Scalloritto (Bacon wrapped scallops on top of a soft tortilla with creamy pesto & slaw) - Cost: ~0.6 BTC Pan Seared Scallops (Served on a bed of rice pilaf with pesto drizzle) - Cost: ~0.6 BTC Alligator On-A-Stick [Pictured Above] - Cost: ~0.5 BTC. Then I went to go buy 1.5 BTC's worth of fresh wild-caught Alaskan Salmon (10 lbs.) -- Proceeds goes to charity in Italy: Cost: 1.5 BTCThen I purchased a 'Strawberry Supernova' at MiroTea:Cost: ~0.25 BTC All, in all, I spent about 3.75 BTC's worth of bitcoins today over the course of 4 hours. So to finish it off... ... I found a pirate and tipped him about ~0.3 BTC for letting me take his photo with my 'Bitcoin'... He decided to use it as an 'eye-patch'...:Cost: ~0.3 BTC Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr MATEY! I've GOT YOUR BOOTY! Cheers, Kermee

You should be fine as long as the '1000W' rating is accurate. I'm using the same board and CPU as you with OC'ed Sapphire 5830's (998/300) with 8GB flash drives on a Corsair 950W going on 2 months now. Not a single issue. 2.5" 7200 RPM HDD's power consumption is negligible. And you're using 4x5850's and 5850's have lower TDP's than 5830's... My rig setup is 620W-640W at the outlet from a Kill-A-Watt. You might barely break 600W with yours. Cheers, Kermee

did anything more come of this ?

wait i'm a little confused. what does the 5970 have anything to do with this? It was to get your attention only... And it did Cheers, Kermee

Just a reminder, a rule-of-thumb is if you're running a 'continuous' load (i.e. mining rig 24/7), you should never exceed 80% of the rated circuit's capacity. So a 20A circuit at 80% capacity is 16A or 1920VA(W)'s. It's part of the NEC code. Like most rules, it's 'meant to be broken', but I thought I'd just throw that out there. Cheers, Kermee

If you want to send it back I'll replace it for you. It does give some uniqueness to your coin though :-)
Nah. No worries, mate. I'm keeping it! :-) Great job on the coins. I'm love them. Haven't been able to put them down for hours now... Guess I have a new OCD... Cheers, Kermee

Just received mine today. Extremely quick shipping (I'm in the U.S.) and great quality. Although, one of my coins, the etching of the words 'VIRES IN NUMERIS' was so shallow, one side of the 'V' isn't even etched, etc. -- I'm keeping it though because it's a collector's item Cheers, Kermee

Who all would be interested in a one troy ounce .999 high quality silver round? If so how much over the silver spot price would you be willing to pay for it?
I would be, definitely. At least a few of them. Cheers, Kermee
|
|
|
Excellent! Thanks for the feedback. You got them quick.
Any idea when the next shipment is going to go out? Only curious! Thanks! Cheers, Kermee

Oops, sorry about that. You can now order larger quantities and save on shipping. This is only available if using Paypal.
Worked like a charm. Thank you! Cheers, Kermee

No, not yet. Still working on getting email conformations.
Any way to change the quantity through the PayPal option? I'm trying to order 4 and rather do one-payment vs. being vigged 4 times by PayPal... Cheers, Kermee

Would purchase at least two. What a wonderful way of 're-investing' into BTC's future with your earnings.

I use LastPass in Firefox and it works just fine with Mt.Gox.
+1 -- Same setup, just under OS X. Cheers, Kermee

It's pretty dumb that bitcoins has this ever expanding file that is necessary and contains details from day 1. But that's just the way it is.
And that's how security of Bitcoins works. If you find a better way to implement a 'P2P currency' system, we're all ears. Cheers, Kermee

Hi everyone.
Hello! I would like to know, if there are some mistakes in my theory
You've pretty much nailed it. and if no, is there a way to compensate for the loss of coins?
In practicality, they're gone. Lost forever along with the private key. Cheers, Kermee
