I would say, signature campaigns can bring some profit.
But if you do have a blog and have a talant to write good posts
Content creation is the best way

this is how i increased my twitter followers with time.
1. i began following recommended followers posted my profile
2. i retweeted most trending tweets of famous celebrities and public officials
3. i composed very good tweets by my self
and over time i got followers automatically.

my advise, do not try to use malicious ways to increase your twitter followers because twitter audit exist and it can be used by any one to determine the number of real followers you have out of the multitude.
 if you are hoping to use your twitter account for a campaign on this forum, i advice you take your time to grow your followers. Bitcoin projects are not running to anywhere. new promising ones always emerge each wake of the day.
