PM sent with alternate method to verify feedback as this is the first item I've purchased through this forum.
Also, I'd be willing to pay 5BTC up front then $40 worth of BTC or $40 mtgox redeem code upon arrival if this is acceptable terms.

I'm interested in ordering one of the Gen2 boards. Is there any consideration for adding a mounting bracket to them so they can be mounted in a case like a PCI card (just not plugged into the motherboard)?

haha. 5 seconds after I posted, the 11.14 wall fell. Time for a fun ride.

one chunk at 405 out of that 11.14 wall and it's still up, so its not completely fake.... we'll see how it does over the next few minutes / hours.

On the MTGox support/news page there is a statement that MTGox is buying bitomat.pl and restoring all the bitomat.pl users coins (assuming from MTGox profits/reserves).
How do you think this will affect the market? I can see a few things happening.
1) 17,000 coins are now back in the hands of people that lost them for a few weeks so there will be a quick dump from the people that just want to take their money before something else happens to it.
2) A somewhat isolated exchange will now add its traffic into the main exchange and prices will rise.
3) the numbers affected by bitomat.pl are small in comparison to the overall market, and will have no noticeable effect.

Is it just me, or is watching mtgoxlive.com this morning turning out to be more excitement than this summer's blockbuster films?

whenever the difficulty changes, the total hashrate skyrockets because of how it's calculated. this same thing happens every time. you have to wait 24-36 hour for that total hasrate calculation to get back to normal. It's not people buying rigs the day difficulty changes, or getting rid of them 2 days after a difficulty change, its just that the calculation is too basic to calculate the total hashrates when there are 2 different difficulties worth of solved blocks.

Got an email from Dwolla saying that they now require a photo ID in order to continue bank transfers. Looks like they are trying to beef up security a bit but changing the rules mid stream sucks. This makes Paxum seem like a better option since they at least tell you up front rather than after you have a few hundred dollars sitting in account in limbo until you send in an ID.
