It was almost ideal for dump by big GPU-farmers. Just few hours needed to make a GPU-miner and mine a lot of coins, few minutes for transfer to mcxnow.com, and maybe just few seconds to dump. Price was 2000000 at the start and 8000000 in the peak. Now price is around 100000, it falled 80x from peak, and it's insane how much money was lost.  Now people continue to lose money... |

well it's hard at the moment. So many new ones have been brought out, that it's hard to find one which makes some real progress. Maybe try some Devcoin or Unobtanium, since wolong is pulling the strings there  Is this Wolong guy much like Fontas guy, basically an urban legend, but in fact small time big mouth guy with 0.5BTC in total sitting at his moms house? Actually the other way around. He is a real attention whore, and he actually have A LOT of money. He has made doge what it is today, and announces most his pumps. So far he has always been keeping his word.. so i just tag along with his rides to the top where do I find out about wolong or where does he hang? how do you hear about these pumps You can never know where he is.  But something tells me that... maybe, he is in RapidCoin now. It was the best moment yesterday to make profit and to get in. |

The devs` logo is nice but with pixels. so i think it will be okay, if we do a little with his logos. Small logo  Small logo with official  Small logo with official 2  Big logo  It's not so bad I like your rendering. Maybe we can be cool with the existing logo and update it to your version. There.. done with that. Next. I think the priority is the client itself. - Client - Website - Block Explorer Securing (under our control) those 3 items are really the big deal here. On it now... Getting late here so more updates tomorrow. I want this all done within 72 hours really. Nothing is more annoying than "slow" in crypto. I also want to preserve the value of the coin owners and miners as we are adding new coins daily. Personally I don't like this logo. If there are some designers, you can make another logo. I think current logo is much related to word "universe", not "rapid". So, if there any suggestions about it, you can publish here. |

There's no future without exchange. Coinmarket.io will list this coin if someone will pay dev listing fee. I saw that RapidCoin was released 2 days ago and they are already traded because they paid 40000 RPD. Any ideas, how much you are personally ready to pay for Coinmarket.io listing? It's legal and it will make coin grow much faster. o_O that is like 1.7 BTC. Whaaat?! I have used almost 100000 SOL for promotion, but I can maybe donate 10000 more if coinmarket admins actually agree on putting Solcoin on trade for a SOL donation. I don't want to talk about RapidCoin... Let's talk about SOL. 812000 SolCoins are generated each day. It's too much. And someone with just 5 MH/s (small rig) can get about 270000 SOL/day. There's no fair distribution. Someone can just mine most of the coins. In this case only increased Hashrate can spread the coin. But miners won't mine this coin if it will not have any profitability. If Coinmarket.io would agree to add this coin, I'm ready to give 500,000 SOL for this purpose. Because, anyway it has no price today, and there will be no investors and miners. |

Really shocked the price has stayed above 4000 on coinmarket.io with the extra flood of coins from the mining promotion.
This while bitcoin price has dropped along with every other currency besides Dogecoin.
People sold many of iCoins at 3200 or something around it on Cryptorush.in when promotion ended. I bought some at this moment, now can buy only for 4900. And something interesting, is that only 48000 iCoins produced daily, but buy orders are on 140000 iCoins or more, it's like 3 days of full mining. It's not wonderful that nobody sells. I for sure know that devs will not sell premine at that moment in any cases. I personally made some work for community and awarded 3500 iCoins, i know that they promote coin and want it to succeed. And i hope to see iCoin worth around 10$ per coin in the near future. |

Been watching the trades on coinmarket.io, only currency that is going up since it launched is iCoin. The team has been super honest from the start and they doing a massive launch tonight, best check it out, don't say I didn't warn you  I like this coin. I think that in long run iCoin is the best, because of it's team and name. But let's discuss RapidCoin in this thread. It was added to CoinMarketCap today. And capitalization is just 14000$.  |

Does this coin have ASIC and most importantly multi-pool resistance?
Our Devs have already tested and trialed Kimoto Gravity algorithm , should the network hash explode and multipools move off we will implement it. Like was said by Viperbass we don't mind a bit of multipool abuse initially so more people will get their hands on iCoin. Being a scrypt coin we are not affected by asics (yet) but like you suggested multi-pools. It's wonderful. But I think, that initial and constant miners must not be harmed in any case. Multipool will occur at the day one after coin is listed on CoinWarz and CoinMarketCap. Current Hashrates of multipools is 10 GH/s and more. With current Net Hashrate of iCoin ~200 MH/s even just one hit with multipools can cause difficulty grow with big after-effects. I think that you are prepared for this case. |

Who cares. 50% of the coins in here have no Dev. 70% of the coins traded on Cryptsy have no dev and are abandoned yet do million dollar market caps. Agree with you. If you now have 1 BTC to invest something in coin that is already on the market and dumped to the ground, left by devs, why not to invest? Who don't risk, don't get profit. I've decided to risk, when VertCoin and SmartCoin entered the market... Now I can invest in something else. If I'll lose my 1 BTC, i'll not regret it, but I can get 5-10 BTC back if I will risk. I don't think that somebody who just watching, earned something from any coin here. I understand psychology of losers. They always just talking and doing nothing. And about MOON, for example... Everybody was talking that there's no future. And oops. From 1 sat to 10 sat in just few days. And market depth there was about 50 BTC. So, somebody bought this big ammounts of "dead" MOON coin. No one really knows what is going on. I mean there is some room given to the fact coin
launches are always crazy. And add to that the BTC crash madness with GOX.
However -- no word from dev in 24 hours when everyone is saying "WTF".
Reddit has no new posts today that I can see from Dev. Same with forum.
It's weird for sure.
To me it smells like people getting cheap coins from early launch dumps, launch chaos on purpose,
people mining all they can and making it seem like it's dead.
Then in a day or two or three - BOOM - "oh here we are" while sitting on tons
of new coins that they got while mining during all the FUD.
I have seen this over and over. Fear can be a great way to make people go away
for a bit on purpose.
So I guess for now we will sit around for 24-48 hours tops.
But yes community takeover is always possible for any coin.
And yes we can kill the pre-mine addresses.
Anyways.. let's check in tomorrow.
Thats what I've been saying. What is making this so crazy is the listing on an exchange at launch. Could we have made it any easier to dump the premine? Anyway let things settle and give the devs a chance to respond. I just hope the price starts creeping up. Currently the coins are selling for less than the cost of the power it took to mine them. That has to change, or there will be no miners at all. Your hope is not just a hope. It will grow back to 0.00010000 soon. I kicked myself for not buying tons of SmartCoins, when it was 0.00004000 and after few days it was grow to 0.00020000. One man bought 40000 SMC at that moment and I think he is happy now. The only thing that initiated this was listing on CoinMarketCap... Everybody dumped coins at that moment, and there is no room for future downfall because 0.00003000 was a bottom. I told that it will happen, so as I said earlier, I bought in now. Ok, let's grow up to 200.000$ market cap now. |

I vote for a relaunch. It is a simple and quick solution. Mine a new genesis block and create a fresh fork. The sooner it happens, the better.
It would be much more fun to cry after big 40 BTC investments one week later: "Premine was stolen, Somebody dumped all coins, Devs close the project because of...". That's why I say: "No premine, please". |
