I'd save your bitcoins voting on MintPal, guys - you aren't going to make a lot of money off a coin distributed like this (not to mention the color gimmick is already dead) - take a look at my track record: I haven't miscalled the fate of a coin yet. 7 days of mining and then 10% daily POS-only? Then it drops to ~3% annual POS-only? There will be nobody interested in buying this coin. Enjoy it if you're enjoying it but don't put all of your eggs in one basket here.

We will see tomorrow, and the 10 days with 10% is like a bonus (which works great!), and the 3% annual interest rate, is 3 times higher than BC and 1,5 higher than WC, so I do not think we can talk about a drop... Of courrse, we should help Asiacoin if we can. I do not even understand how people can be so egoist ! It is not as if we had to sign any contracts with Asiacoin!
Asiacoin has also a great community, very similar to Whitecoin. Asiacoin and Whitecoin were the two new big coins and had to go through difficult times.
I think it would be fair to help Asiacoin and could bring a lot to our community and proove, again, what we can do.

As it seems, some want to keep the interest rates like they were, and others, put them back down to classical interest rates, we could simply decide to cut them in 2.
1st year 50% instead of 100%
2nd year 25% ....
3rd year and+ 2,5% .....
Just an idea.

Hi guys, i would still advise to NOT create a new coin and do an exchange...
I've been through this before from experience trying to save RealStackCoin like this.. which although launched and made people feel better, eventually went down to 1 liteoshi in value.
The issue is that there is an existing network, of exchanges pools , and people. Only a small percentage of those people will come and claim these coins, and getting exchange support AGAIN will be tough. and cost more money.
I still advise that the Asiacoin src is just patched up and delivered by voiding the premine. Exchanges are ready to turn on their wallets again if we do so. We should just take that deal.
Retaining the existing blockchain is worth something.. in fact .. it's the only intrinsic value of the coin. And thus would have a much better chance at retaining existing coin value than a new coin.
+1, this seems to be a good idea. Another thing, couldn't it be possible opening a wallet where we try to donate 30 Mio Asia Coins (or the exact number coins sold from the hiddenblock) and then take them off the market to protect the value of the coin. Isn't something in this direction possible  |

Bitsta, Micryon and Goldmann, as I have understood, are the new core of AsiaCoin2, is that right ? If it is thank you for stepping up.
Could maybe one of you, in a short mail, explain clearly what you think happened? What you have in plans for AsiaCoin2 and explain who you are and why you are stepping up ?
That everybody knows what will be the main next steps, as we really need clear communication.

hi cryptoba, i am responsible for community communication, developer support and milestone planning. Micryon came up with this idea and motivated us to join the team. Bitsa is the core developer. Well it s clear what happened. The DEV of AC premined a hidden block. Have hidden that in his blockcrawler and also edited the sourcecode to make everything looks normal ("getinfo")... Why we are making this? well i got a lot of messages after i posted that i dicovered (with the support of rainy & bista) the premined block and warned the community (while they were laughing at me and shouting "FUD").. bitsta also discovered strange memroy hops and datacommunication within the AC wallet. well we sold all our coins (made a huge loss - bitsta lost about 25BTC....) and said lets forget it. but users kept writing us and asking to help them, support the community, maybe take the project over, etc.. and there are really a lot of users who want this project to be relaunched. a lot of people have still money in it. so there is still a value in this. at least in the community. and we just want to support those people. I'm another guy who sold all Ac before having a loss. I was a great believer in the potentiality of the coin. I'm watching your work and I hope to help you guys somehow. I was asking to myself if I can vote too for the name (since I have no ac maybe I shouldn't). Anyway, my little opinion is: keep the name; that's a rebirth. That shows other people how (despite the old dev) community was always one of the greatest community a coin can have. Because AsiaCoin Community ALWAYS was great...if the coin was a scam it's not because of the community. Community believed in AsiaCoin...and it still does! That's the point of all the work you're doing...so I think you should keep the name (you probably will have to argue sometimes with people who will say: "AsiaCoin? that scam? ahahhah you smell!" but who cares?) I don't know...if you succeed i already imagine a wikipedia page about AsiaCoin I don't think I'm gonna vote because I respect you and i don't think i should (since I don't have ac). But that's my opinion. EDIT: Maybe AsiaCoinCommunity? acc?...I don't know...now I'm just writing nonsense lol +1 |

I think "AsiaCoin" has to stay, maybe with a little modification. If, we change the name, it would feel as if we needed to hide something and maybe bring more confusion. (my opinion)
There is nothing to hide, we will make out of the thruth our strength !
