Banks were banned from processing cryptocurrency transactions. That's fine, banks probably wouldn't know what they were doing anyways and it would lead to all sorts of problems.
India didn't ban crypto. They are just preventing problems that may come from ignorant banks trying to things they shouldn't be doing anyway. Is coinbase a bank? Nope.
Though they did NOT ban Crypto currency, in that it's not illegal to posses, mining or individual transactions, from the sound of it they did more than just ban Crypto transactions. The government banned banks from even setting up accounts for any business or individual dealing in Crypto. Some banks in the US are also doing similar by closing the accounts of businesses involved in crypto. It stems from the lack of regulation and KYC/AML oversight. If Crypto is going to grow to incorporate into the existing financial structure, then it MUST deal with those issues before it can be adopted as a mainstream financial option.

The stock market at an ATH priced in USD is nothing earth shattering. When adjusted for inflation and priced in 1916 dollars, when people rode around in horse buggies, the DJIA has only gone up ~10X in 100 years since then. Some coins go up 10X in a week. LOL.

The problem with SATA connectors is they are not intended to deliver a high amp 12V load. There is only a single 12V wire that's also typically a smaller gauge than cables for PCI-E. Spreading the load over two connectors is better than using a single SATA connector, but if you do, connect the dual splitter connectors to the same SATA cable on the PSU and only use one riser per cable.
Using 4-pin Molex and PCI-E cables is a better choice. On modular PSU's the SATA and 4-pin Molex ports are often interchangeable and you can order extra cables from the manufacturer or on Amazon.

Sounds like you have the monitor plugged in to the wrong video output. Unplug all the risers from the motherboard, connect the monitor to the DVI port and see if there's any video output. Otherwise you could try leaving a card only in the PCI-E x16 slot and connect the monitor to it. The motherboard should automatically switch the video output from the onboard graphics to the GPU once a card is plugged in the PCI-E x16 slot.

As i expected the Bitman ETH 'ASIC' is underwhelming relative to all the hype and FUD. The main advantage it has is a much quicker ROI due to the lower cost compared to a similar performing GPU rig, but only for Ethash. A rig offsets that advantage with the ability to mine different algorithms, having a good resale value and a much better warranty. IMO a GPU rig is a better long term investment for most miners. The Bitmain E3 should appeal mostly to large scale farms.

Spending way over MSRP on GPU's for mining is always a bad idea. It makes your ROI timeframe much longer and once the new series of GPU'sis released, you will lose a bunch of money if you resell it. Since mining is currently not very profitable, I would look on eBay or locally to see if you can find a good deal at less than MSRP.

The current Casper roadmap initially requires 1000 ETH to participate in POS rewards. Once sharding is implemented fully in to the main chain, that number is expected to drop to 10 ETH, which makes it accessible to many more people. I would expect once those plans are announced it will easily drive up the price by 2-3x in a short period as people buy up ether to participate in POS.

ICO's dumping hundreds of ETH daily from crowd sales. ICO's don't care what price they sell because as it is the price has already gone done daily and they just want to cash in before the regulation ends their scam.
It could be that, I mean ICO's since day one I treated them as a huge scam and in the end they were really just a huge scam. I never invested on it cause I knew what would happen but dragging eth and all altcoins with it, is sick. I blame asics cause that created another speculation of prices to crash, so bears have a reason to crash the market and then become bulls and drive the market up again, is always like that. All started when asics of sia and dcr were released. 618K ETH sold just by EOS 8 days ago. https://sanbase-low.santiment.net/projects+ about 300K more this month by other ICO's. https://sanbase-low.santiment.net/projects

-nofee will disable the dev fee and reduce performance by 2-3%. You can try that until the new version is released.

Is not only eth, everything is crashing and looking at the graph, this has been a huge manipulation, the date it started coincides to the same day the pump on 2013 started, so is the same people, dumping everything and then will buy it cheaper and pump again in few days. If you have eth do not sell it cause these manipulators will start pumping all very soon.
Anyone selling ETH right now is a fucking idiot. Just saying. ETH is soooooo low. Keep those buy orders staggered on the down turn. It's not rocket science. Miners selling ETH to pay their bills is nothing in comparsion to all the ICO's dumping hundreds of ETH daily from crowd sales. ICO's don't care what price they sell because as it is the price has already gone done daily and they just want to cash in before the coming regulation ends their scam.

Yep, with a proper Bios mod, for Samsung I would target somewhere between 1100-1200 MHz core clock and 1950-2150 MHz memory clock, depending on the card. Use HWInfo to check for memory errors and adjust the memory clock down by 50 MHz until there are no more errors. A good site to get the basics on overclocking and Bios modding is www.mining.help. I've had good results using the Polaris Bios Editor 'One Click Timing Patch' on the original Bios after saving a backup and replacing the changes made with the bundled UberMix v3.1 Samsung timing with this one that is much more stable. 777000000000000022CC1C00106A5D4DD0571016B90D060C0060070014051420FA8900A0030000001011333DC0303A17 https://github.com/jaschaknack/PolarisBiosEditor

Hi Folks I am using several of the ROG STRIX 1080 to mine, at night it is nuisance when sleep, anyway to off the flashing lights while mining? Thanks!
I don't think it is healthy to sleep in a room with many GPU's. Just move them to some other room. Even though GPU rigs make a lot less noise than ASICs, its is still enough to disturb you. Plus, the amount of radiation they generate is probably not healthy. Another shitty thing is dust particles. Those fans will be working constantly which means there will be more dust particles in air than usual. Want to be asthma? Keep doing it. Lights coming from your GPU's should be least of your concerns. Radiation? Source please. As for OP most of the time the card vendor has its own software to control the led colors / turn them off. Check the utilities by your card's model at the Asus website. Any electronic device emits radiation. Doesn't matter how big or small it is. If it is creating light or heat, it creates radiation. 1 or 2 GPU's probably won't do any harm to anyone (as long as they work for a few hours in a day) probably but since many GPU rigs at least have 6 GPU's and considering that they run 7/24 everyday and the amount of radiation that 1 GPU rig will be creating will be x6 more concentrated than what a regular PC creates, I wouldn't like them with me in the same room whether if i was sleeping at that time or not. Cellphones create radiation too but its very low while you are not using them. If you talk on the phone like 30 mins your head will get hurt. Don't you have headaches when you stay in front of a PC for long hours? You should also take a look at this term: "Electrical Pollution" http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/misc/electrical_pollution.htmIt is just unhealthy to live in a room with many "working" GPU's. Sleep is the time where your body regains its strength, and repairs itself. A GPU rig will be spreading every kind of filth to the air and will block your body's natural regeneration at night. You'll wake up tired and feel like shit whole day. Dude, you really should go outside and get some radiation. You worry too much. The amount of 'filth' the GPU's will be spreading is no different than if you had a fan in your room or AC.

Try setting the Windows power plan to 'high performance'.
Thanks, but my rig is definetely not going to sleep. It seems to me that just internet connections is dropped (I have both ethernet and wifi for redundancy). Seems both of them are killed for apparently no reason... It doesn't have to go to sleep. Your power plan power management mode could be setting the network adapters to power savings mode, which is why you should set the power plan to high performance. If you want to do it manually, under power options select 'change advanced power settings' and verify the network adapters are set to 'maximum performance'.

In any case, I would guess you absorb more radiation from walking outside on a sunny day that from GPU's in a lifetime. Regarding the question, download the Asus Aura Sync utility, set the LED's to off and no more LED's https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/download.htmlOnce you change it, you no longer have to keep it running. it is running in linux, so...?? No, it's Windows only, but once you toggle the LED profile to off, they will stay that way even if you move the card to another system. On Linux you can try the nvidia-settings terminal command posted above.
