321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 18, 2020, 09:22:39 PM
In my country there are many crypto enthusiats and bitcoin users especially among the young generation.
The main problem is there is no clear legislations regarding the use of cryptos. Therefore, no one would take the risk of buying a bitcoin ATM as it can be seized by authorities.

You've got a Great point here. Actually, I'm not sure if there's a clear legislation regarding the use of crypto here. But I do know that the central bank requires kyc from anyone who is related to crypto. With this, we can easily say it's legal. If it's not, I have the feeling that the machine will be seized as you've said. But then, I don't think they would just bring in such a machine without having known if it has been publicly declared legal or not.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 18, 2020, 09:00:41 PM
I don't really see it as adoption, it's more like enabling the Nigerians to get some BTC in an easier manner. A little but sweet development for BTC in your country, and I'm happy to know you've now got an option to purchase and sell in a physical way.

Lol, your perspective tho. However, it is clearly adoption because if it is not being adopted by the people in the country, why then would someone bring a Bitcoin ATM?
Well, I believe that an analysis was done and observing that people are moving into cryptocurrency, hence the step was taken.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin is getting more adopted in my Country on: February 18, 2020, 08:29:35 PM
I feel very inspired right now. I just came across a video in which there's a Bitcoin ATM in the country! I feel so glad to see how Bitcoin is getting adopted. This proves that after all, our promotion of bitcoin is helping in spreading the news. And we aren't planning to stop the promotion anytime; we're even planning to hold more seminars to help people know about bitcoin. Now, one of the advantages of this Bitcoin ATM is that anyone who doesn't know what Bitcoin is and sees it would ask what the machine is used for, and from there, it just keeps spreading!!! Watch the video here to see how it works. BTW, What progress is happening in your country? If none then try doing more in favour of bitcoin (for countries that find bitcoin legal).

I'm new to blockchain technology and as far as I learned about Bitcoin it is one of the best ways to invest and earn easy and quick bucks, no doubt that CryptoCurrencies has begun the revolutionary change in global economy  but slow and steady wins the race and that's why when comes to risk free and secure investment banks are the fuels through which engines of economy can always depend on.
If you have proper knowledge of Bitcoin then no doubt crypto world will give you return beyond your imagination.

Welcome! I feel pleased whenever I see a new person in this crypto space. I hope you don't mind my asking. How did you get to know about bitcoin, the blockchain technology, and the bitcointalk platform?
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 16, 2020, 08:37:36 AM
i don't know man, bitcoin has it's own benefits but bank in some countries still has better benefits than bitcoin, for example in Indonesia all the bank is connected to each other now, so the fee is way more cheaper than bitcoin. i know that you can't get money from just put your money to the bank like bitcoin, but there's still a risk free investment with banks, so i don't think that bitcoin is better than banks right now..

Cheaper? 🤔 Tell me more. Cause last I checked, it'll cost you time and money to send money to anyone outside the country. And you will have to be sending huge payments. But with bitcoin, the transaction fee to send to someone in my country is the same to send to you too. Besides, I can send as small as 1$ to you. I don't see the bank agreeing to send 1$.

328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do you recommend the review hunt platform? on: February 14, 2020, 06:18:38 AM
I knew about review hunt from steem hunt on steemit (the first cryptocurrency platform that paid me). Review hunt platform was kinda cool cause you perform a few task and get paid in hunt token (tradeable). However, the platform has been rebuilt. It is very amazing to see the user interface and also, to see that users who don't want to be paid in the hunt token can be paid directly in Etheruem. You can check it out at review.hunt.town. There are many other features and I'm really glad to see them. What do you think about the hunt token. Have you seen the latest review hunt platform? What do you think about it?

Well, I appreciate everyone for bringing up their opinion. However, most comments are just influenced by the ones posted before them. You all should understand that everything has disadvantages and advantages. In my post on medium, I clearly stated the areas in which bitcoin is better than the bank. And I'll say it forever more that bitcoin is better than the bank (in the areas I stated). Don't misquote me. I didn't say that bitcoin is 100% better than the bank. If you see me say that, quote me. Bitcoin is better than the bank maybe not by 100% but over 60%. Thank you all once more.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 13, 2020, 10:07:13 PM
Sorry to say but i am not somehow  agree with you with saying that crypto is more good then banks. Because In my opinion and we all know that amount in banks are more safe then amount in crypto wallets.
Otherwise you are also right because there are a lot of benefits of it we can change our life with crypto.

Are you sure about this statement you just made? Your asset in the bank is believed to be safe. However, it isn't under your control. It belongs to you but is managed by your bank. Unlike bitcoin which you don't have to contact anyone before sending or spending.

Many people are just ignorant about bitcoin and I believe that writing an article (as a writer I am) is worth it for bitcoin. Therefore, I decided to write this article to help elaborate (https://link.medium.com/X934BlPLW3).
Please endeavour to READ! and share it too.
Tho some people just don't want to use bitcoin because of its volatile/unpredictable nature, there are also others who don't even know what we are talking of.

I keep telling us that little things matters a lot. Sharing this article would help get to someone out there who hasn't heard about bitcoin and needs to know about it. Also, don't forget to use your skills to promote bitcoin.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Made Some Bitcoin WhatsApp stickers on: February 06, 2020, 11:17:52 AM
I have seen your creations for WhatsApp. But I wonder, since I'm not an expert, how do they import into WhatsApp to be used?

You'll have to download an app (link in post). Download the stickers too. Once you've. Done that, go to your file manger, look for the downloaded sticker, open it as of you are opening an image. Open it using the app you downloaded. The Instruction is in the post too.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Made Some Bitcoin WhatsApp stickers on: February 06, 2020, 07:24:59 AM
These look pretty good, definitely a nice way of helping to spread the word in an unobtrusive way.

Do you make these for a living?

Maybe you should get in touch with some exchanges and wallets and see if they would commission some even better ones.

No mate, I don't make these for a living. It may be nicely done but I'm not a pro. I'm just doing certain things for the promotion of bitcoin.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Made Some Bitcoin WhatsApp stickers on: February 06, 2020, 07:22:13 AM
cool mate i definitely using these stickers ,they are very simple but Cool and appreciative so downloading the stickers now as i am typing this.

don't mind those bashers mate what is important you have skills that wanted to be shared to others and besides this is free so who are they to question your work?they must be thankful,or they can just deny and leave the stickers alone as no one is forcing them to use your work.

Haha. Thanks a lot man. I don't mind if my work was perfect or almost. The aim is for those who like and don't like the stickers to try creating theirs. I just want us to have the same goal of promoting bitcoin.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A clue on how to make them see that bitcoin isn't a scam on: February 06, 2020, 06:45:23 AM
but nice explanation there mate,i think i would be love using this on how may i encourage people specially those around me to invest and trust Bitcoin, thanks for that mate you are really a Genius .

Haha. Thanks man. I really appreciate the fact that you find it a nice idea. There are many other ways to do this, I just had to figure out at least one way.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Made Some Bitcoin WhatsApp stickers on: February 06, 2020, 04:31:33 AM
WhatsApp stickers whooah. Superb.
In this way, if you done it free for all without paying you by someone, then it's good way you promote Bitcoin by that way, it is the best and much appreciated.
WhatsApp is big message platform, especially in Chinese countries like China or Hong Kong. I hope your art will be use by someone. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for the support. I hope people don't just use these stickers but create theirs too.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Made Some Bitcoin WhatsApp stickers on: February 05, 2020, 10:19:34 PM
For example, I'd make a sticker with the text "Have you heard of Bitcoin?" instead of "I accept Bitcoin payments". "Have you heard of Bitcoin?" could be used ironically or non-ironically in many contexts. When someone complains about their bank, send a "Have you heard of Bitcoin?" sticker and it'll make the convo more interesting.

Nah... Tho it's a cool idea, I won't really agree with it. "Have you heard of bitcoin?" would make the person understand that your aim is telling him/her what bitcoin is. On the other hand, "I accept bitcoin" makes the person understand that bitcoin is a means of payment. And also, the person won't know that your main aim is to tell him/her about bitcoin. He/she would definitely ask you what you mean by bitcoin. And then, your pour it all out (remember to tell it's advantage over fiat. And of course, it's disadvantages).
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I Made Some Bitcoin WhatsApp stickers on: February 05, 2020, 09:22:53 PM
That's actually nice of you, but I can't think of an instance in which I'd use these stickers with my friends.

I'd rather go for some stickers like these or some cute, chubby ones with puppy-like eyes and all. But I'm not a designer so someone with an artistic hand could do it. I'm talking about something similar to this:

I think the text placed on your stickers are limiting the usage of them too much.

Don't take this as hate - I always like to come up with a bit of critique. It's a good initiative and I hope I won't offend you or anything but they seem a bit too simplistic and can only be used in specific scenarios... for example, online negotiations.. but I'd rather not send stickers during a serious transaction. Just saying.

Actually, I get your point and I'm not taking it personal. You're right; they are actually simple but then, my aim is to inspire people to create better ones that'll in one way or the other help in the promotion of bitcoin.

Well, some transactions could be too official for you to use them. However, such stickers are also suitable for some transactions (e.g a transaction with a regular customer, a trancastion with a friend who doesn't know about bitcoin, etc).

Wow. I actually succeded in getting the stickers. They are really cool and I'll proceed to create more (with the aim of promoting bitcoin). Thanks for this and keep up the good work.

I'm glad you loved them! It's a good thing that you've decided to create more stickers. If possible, create telegram stickers too. Thank you too!
