I think it would be very challenging to explain bitcoin to them if their initial reaction is refuse the information you're giving them and if they are not showing even a bit of interest to what you want to share.

I think, the good first step is to catch their interest. Tell them or show them that it's not a scam and it has lots of potential. Be the living proof that bitcoin and blockchain is actually beneficial. If you got their attention, slowly feed them the details. Just the basics first so that they won't be overwhelmed with all the information they're getting. If they have decided to continue on learning, then that's the time to go on the more technical and/or broader side of it.

okay i have got a lot from you all, thank for the feedback
i will try my best to be innovative, creative and make it easier for them to understand how it works.

324  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to introduce Bitcoin and blockchain to people on: December 09, 2020, 04:06:05 PM
Why would people need to know about blockchain? Especially if they are from a rural area. Have you heard about someone going from village to village and talk about MySQL and MongoDB? Even if blockchain was useful, there's no need for regular people to understand it, just like people don't know how Internet works or how planes fly, but they still use them without problems. But blockchain actually isn't that useful, cryptocurrency is the only successful application, and maybe the last.

Now with the way things are going, don't you think the earlier the better we start educating people about cryptocurrencies??

I was in opportune to speak with most of colleague in city where I m telling them about usefulness of bitcoin many other currencies today they are happy, I m also introduce them how to make use of binance to trade today I m being compensated with some Satoshi as an appreciation.

Now, if I don't do that do you think I can be valued to that extent?
So no effort are being wasted so many are eager to learn based on other's result.

For me the best way is talking about your own first hand experience. It is important also to know who are you talking to, as most of the people just don't want to listen, or will use this information against you:

I can tell you what happened to me once a few years ago. I talked to a friend about Bitcoin, he is engineer so I thought it was the kind of person that would understand what I was talking about, and may have interest. I told him that I had invested a little money and that I was optimistic about the technology and the price. He looked at me as I was idiot, and a few months after, when I told him that the price went up dramatically, he said in very low voice, for him, and with face of anger, something like "this son of a bitch may be right after all". I asked "what?" and he answered "nothing".

That said, be very careful who you talk to about Bitcoin and blockchain, as it may not worth the effort.

Apart from that, another good way to introduce Bitcoin and blockchain to people is sending a few sats to someone's wallet. After all, everybody has a smartphone nowadays, and installing a wallet is something anyone can do. If they have the "skin in the game", even if it is very little money, they may feel more interested.

Smiles, this could be a sign of motivator to them.

326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dump tactics - where to protect your crypot's when during dump? on: December 08, 2020, 09:21:03 PM
Warning - i'm a beginner.

1.
I'm trying to prepare myself, when BTC would start to "dump", what is the best place to protect your ASSets ?
Is it to convert to stable coin?

2.
What is the best easy way to convert crypto for gold or silver?

Thanks guys!

You know already as stablecoin is the best way to sell and maintain your assets. By so doing you have protected yourself back and beside gold isn't stablecoin.

Hello my good people in the house!

I want to understand something very crucial and important to me because it really borders me and I would love to get some guidelines on how or the best way I could Introduced some of friends to start understanding Bitcoin and blockchain. Though most times wen I made mention of blockchain and bitcoin with other currencies they seems not to understand how it's I have showed them more light but all they says is calling it scam etc, just confused. In my region most Local village don't have modern facilities and many more so whenever I speak it seems is something new to them so I m just seeking the very best way I could narrates to them.

Thanks for your kind feedback.

Why you need to explain it to people who doesn't like it and understand? Is there any benefit for you if you explain it to them , if not then forget about it .let them learn from them selves ,the day will come when bitcoin will also be known in your area and if they get to this point they themselves will be curious what it is and they themselves will search and there is no need for you to explain more.

Now what actually happened is that, there are many individuals whom has not understand it or having little knowledge about and besides the world is getting digitalize which payment of any collectible would be available online. As early adopted members of BTT we have to help those out there to spread the word by so doing we tends to carry everyone along.
Now this would give you a better chance to build a strong community whereby communication could be made easily probably you become a consultant may like earn some fractions of percentage from any transactions.

I thought you want to "block" people as per the title you have. Well, change the title into blockchain. Ok now, if those people in that village don't show interest about bitcoin, then you don't have to act as a hero of introducing it to them while them, they don't care at all.
Introduce it to the people who really are interested knowing about bitcoin and blockchain. And for your introduction, you can simply download pdf files online and download YouTube videos about introduction to bitcoin and blockchain that you can have them watch, there are many of those.

Oh shit!
Thanks for the corrections as my device is on autocorrect so it doesn't recognize blockchain except I have to save it manually for it to be installed.

Nevertheless, I got your points I will look towards it sir.

Hi,

You guys understand Uniswap?

Nothing to hard while trading with Uniswap but the only I mostly encounter while using it is the much fee involved.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you have to say about Kingswap on: December 06, 2020, 01:25:03 PM
I can't figure out how can I add a list of tokens? It is indicated that the maximum is 1000 tokens, but the address I need has 1440.

you can add token through with their contract address, input their Decimal and Symbols
I understand this, but I want to add all the tokens that are available, maybe the system is not updated yet. Programmers should know that there are many more tokens than 1000.

There is, so with their symbol and decimal it can be added manually.

Don't you think for you to build trust and be reliable to the person why not use an escrow, with this there will be no trust loose or lost.

Yes Greatchu
i saw that same version along the line
Quote
Kingswap claimed to be a better version of Uniswap and we can't be so sure of that right now until the project proves to be better on the long run,
which tried to claims be more safer and better than uniswap so i m holding the little token i made from their promotion.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what do you have to say about Kingswap on: December 03, 2020, 05:14:57 PM
There are so many uni fork and kingswap is also the one from the all of uni fork like sushi swap, trustswap, swapzilla, and many more. What you meant about the massive drop? do you mean the same airdrop like uniswap did before? The kingswap token has been trading on the exchange site and i don't think there will be a massive drop like UNI airdrop from the kingswap.
It would not happen. UNI was doing airdrop before the token being listed or traded on exchange sites.

okay, what i meant was the price as to know if it will increase like Uniswap price too. like seeking a kind of suggestions to know if the price will wax as the UNI did previously.  so what is your intake about the price analysis.
