321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This will be my first BTC halving on: April 21, 2024, 09:05:38 PM
We live in crazy times. This will be my first BTC halving and I'm so fucking happy that I learned about BTC and how FIAT money is basically a fucking scam in the past year. Thanks to this forum and happy halving y'all! Smiley

Hmm, this is your first halving OP, probably this is probably your first or second post as well on the forum, I cant get it for what you are thanking to the forum, anyways seriousness aside.

How are you doing with your accumulations, can you share your insights, as mostly here people discuss the strategies to accumulate Bitcoin as it is worthless to celebrate Halving if you don't own Bitcoin. So what are your next plans about Bitcoin we can discuss it here to find optimal accumulation solutions or anything informative because this is how we all grow in our times. With a proper discussion context, we can make this thread more engaging without having just random comments.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this madness or what? on: April 21, 2024, 07:38:04 PM
Hmm, such fat finger events are not rare, we've seen many reported cases like that where people paid crazy transaction fees and in some cases, there was an announced recovery for those guys who paid such accidental transaction fees.

The point to notice is that the guy was making a transaction of 0.7$, haha in the expensive network days, this is really crazy, or he' just performing some kind of publicity stunt as he already know somehow he'll get the amount back.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Important reminders on: April 21, 2024, 07:26:06 PM
I've participated in such threads many times before last year but at the end of the day where the solution, haha it's quite funny that we cant solve it, many people offer the L2s as a solution but people don't want to move on, many of them support this solution and many oppose on the same time.

Now the closing wordic on the high tx fee on the Bitcoin network is really a concern for the day-to-day Bitcoin network users, if you can't afford it just stop using the Bitcoin network and move on to other solutions which are much cheaper obviously you won't be able to enjoy that reliability. Now you won't be able to use the Bitcoin network if you cant afford its a bitter reality.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Next for Bitcoin Enthusiast on: April 21, 2024, 03:59:25 PM
Hmm, With the establishment of the ETF now we are moving toward the global recognition for Bitcoin on legal grounds, maybe shortly we'll explore the fiat-to-crypto trend, well may be many will say that we are already able to switch between the fiat to crypto but in coming period most likely it is going to be on the street level.

Still, Bitcoin is lacking in the acceptability criteria as I can't go into the market and find even a single retailer allowing me to perform transactions directly in the Bitcoin network, (an exception for the developed countries). We can somehow relate it to the global currency narrative of Bitcoin. Still, for now, I'm keeping the expectation low, as Universal or global currency recognition is not going to be possible ever at least in the current timeline of 50 years haha.

There are many possibilities with a slight difference from each other for now that's not the topic so I've gave just an overview about the macro trends possible.
325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Leverage on: April 21, 2024, 03:50:59 PM
There are many newbies who don't have enough knowledge about trading and it's not right to bother with levers. Those who are new to trading must first gain enough knowledge about trading if you don't know enough about trading then you will never get success through trading so first you need to know enough about trading and gain knowledge then start trading. Of course you have to have a long term plan before trading. If you can keep a long term plan and check the market in trading then you can definitely get success through trading.

Hmm, well bro the fact is people just don't pick up the things, because as you know in talking about something and executing something there comes a huge difference, and 70% + people fail in execution about what they commit.

TBH, Newbies these days follow YouTube influencers and their primary motive is always to sell the premium signal group courses, newbies fall into the profit screenshots of those influencers, people believe in them because many people are following them but they are now aware of the reality that most of those people are thinking in the same way as they are. Who will not get attracted to their marketing strategy that one user joined today and made 1000 bucks and they don't know how much he invested if a person who invested and took a $100k trade with his 5k investment on 20x and made 1k out of what's the big deal in the this in the bull run 10% to 30% profit is not a big deal in the bullish crypto market.
326  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with AI on: April 20, 2024, 07:39:19 PM
Hello,
has anyone heard about this project? It's called GICAI and it's making 2.5 - 2.7% profit per day with artificial intelligence.
I invested 100€ 3 days ago..

The profit amount sounds attractive but I'm not sure about their service is there any detail available about the project and how they actually assist traders with their AI-integrated features?

Becasue as far I know in the decision Ai still needs a lot of developments which are not up to date yet, At the same time the role of Ai as an assistant can be impressive as it can save a lot of efforts for the skilled traders in their analysis and decision making. But the figures you've quoted seem non-organic because it sounds like signal bot trading. If they really posses a strong development ground under their project it can be worth checking out but still need to be careful.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn't Altcoin a distraction to Bitcoin adoption? on: April 20, 2024, 10:41:06 AM
I wasn't expecting that people would think in such a way, altcoins are expected just because of the wide Bitcoin adoption and community, most people recognize the crypto market with Bitcoin and that's a fact as well, the concept of one will make the market oversaturated. Most people who recognize any altcoin also recognize Bitcoin.

Hmm, I've seen many comments that altcoins are shit and blah blah, I would say a few words on it, Bitcoin is a mature cryptocurrency and the reliability level with the capital and dominance in the market is not comparable not even in the near future, but now cryptocurrency is not only to trade but also make money, etc, Now there many other sides directly connected with this market, in this cycle we'll explore many other sides as well.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade while you sleep with Tradetomato on: April 20, 2024, 05:43:49 AM
Hmm, your concept is quite similar to Devin, haha to make it accessible for everyone anyway jokes aside. I would like to mention that such kind of service announcements should be made in the service discussions section the experts can give their views on it, hope you understand, I would report this pot to moderator so he can move it to the relevant section.

For the rest lets see what others say.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do miners do? on: April 19, 2024, 05:52:36 PM
Expecting the halving event, investors look forward to it even years ahead.

Many start planning out their plans around the halving event. Some buy as much bitcoin as they can during a dip while others accumulate bitcoin through dca method. The point is I am already well aware of how investors plan ahead halving event but what about miners?

Are there anything in particular they do in preparation of the halving event?

OP you are not specific about your question, please make it clear with the term miners and elaborate on your question so an efficient reply can be provided. If you want to ask anything about the miners I know comparison creates a reference but in the context of reference, you are eliminating the core of the question.

Hmm, from the established question what I've got is you are asking about the future of manners, bro on every halving event the Bitcoin production rate decreases the cost per Bitcoin increases as a reverse proportion, and with the increase in production cost the market value also increase, so if your concern is about the profitability of the mining Bitcoin then bro its already covered in much detailed stuff and references which available on many source but keeping it restricted to a few words I would say as far as the equilibrium of the demand and supply exist in the crypto market the mining is profitable, also its not only block reward which miners get there's a major portion of incentive n term of fees which miners earn.

331  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is not a lifetime job. on: April 15, 2024, 08:29:24 AM
First off, trading isn't universally stressful; it tends to stress those who trade based on emotions and ignore trading guidelines like disciplined systems, risk management, and thorough analysis.

Expressing agreement or doubt can be tricky when discussing this topic because both mathematics and history can be challenging subjects. However, some people find comfort in tackling tough topics.

As for exchanges, using them as an excuse isn't valid anymore, especially with the changing landscape of the trading world. In the crypto market, for example, DEX trading is an option. Although it may not have been very efficient a few months ago, there are now L2 modular and highly optimized chains for on-chain transactions. These chains enable real-time transaction processing, making trading more efficient at a fraction of the cost compared to traditional blockchains like ETH.
332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trader lost over $1 Million + on Binance Feature trading on: April 15, 2024, 08:16:18 AM
Binance features trading. am I unfamiliar with this term, haha I know it is a typo error, anyway $1M is not a big amount hehe when it comes to one of the biggest losses in the market, people lost millions in futures just because of their dumb decision, TBH when its comes to Future you need to be always ABC, always be careful because things are not easy there, first of all, the market is volatile and secondly on the high leverage there's a high risk to reward ration.

Risk management requires expertise there, with a lowly risk magnet and undisciplined manner you can never win in futures trading also I consider it haram because of some religious restrictions on the financial system.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Governments and their irrelevant projects just to steal public funds on: April 10, 2024, 09:32:59 PM
<snip>

I do not have very accurate words for that as I do not have an idea of the environment of your country so you may know well better than me but I have kinda idea that the government is putting the public in a big mess as most of the country government come into the power just to fill their own accounts/bags/pockets they really do not care about the middle-class people if in any case, they do some good projects they are just to show off it in front of the public eye just to make clean themselves.

The government should focus on those things that can make the country's economy strong and should bring those projects in the country that offer employment to the unemployed people which as result from these things will happiness in the country and we will see the country growing day by day.

......
Is it true that, under the new rules, the merits can be removed? If that's the way it works now, this is the first news I read about it...

Seems like I'm late but still what would be my first reaction is as follow,

nah nah haha it was just an April fool prank started by the themos itself and many users experience a reduction in merits I have seen many OG's merits going in minus after the implementation of the new system but after some time all things keep on the track as the system already working. The reduction in merits was also faced by some of my community members and they were worried about that haha on the same side, some users experienced an increase in their total merits.

The administration announced that the new merits system will work like this if the quality of posting of the member is good then he/she will start to get merits in his/her total merits but there will be no impact on that of his/her Smerits but after some time hardly one and half day everything gets normal.
336  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How I almost become a millionaire on: April 10, 2024, 08:27:16 PM
In the year 2010,my best friend introduce me to cryptocurrency and he advice me to invest in bitcoin. I felt bitcoin was another ponzi scheme created by scammers to scam innocent people. Today my friend is a multi Millionaire. If only I had listened to his advice,I would have become a millionaire by now.

Haha, no problem buddy as you may also see a lot of stories just like you shared many miss like you to buy Bitcoin at a cheaper price, Those who were present at that time and had the idea all about that I mean about Bitcoin those days bitcoin do not have well popularity and adoption and now it has huge popularity and its adoption is increasing day by day. But do not feel as if you can not change your past but you can change your future and do not think anymore about your past. Think about the future as you can not change the past but you can change the future.

and if you still want to think about your past then just learn from past mistakes to groom yourself to make your future good so that you can grow up in a good way... what do you think about that? haha if we had the time machine we all would have bought Bitcoin at that time in 2010, but sadly the innovation has not been invented so forget about it at all and focus on real-time things like thinking oh I wish I had about bitcoin that time.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Bank on: April 10, 2024, 08:19:48 PM
Anyone who is familiar with digital bank?  All I know is that, unlike traditional bank, they do not have the bank building hence saving them from all costs related to it.  In my country, they are offering higher interest rates returns compare to their traditional bank counterpart.  Anyone knows the reason why they can do that?  Also, what is the pros and cons of using digital bank instead of traditional bank?

Hmm, I am not so sure about that but if someone opening the company that company must have unique qualities that other companies are not offering may be this can be the reason for that and as the company is in the initial stages and wants to generate their customers they have to make offers like that other are not offering. This is the market Strategy the new coming brands always offer/have some unique thing that you may not find in other companies or brands.

On the same side you are the resident of your country so you may know better than that of me what do you think about that? why they are offering like this? what can be the real reason behind this? any idea? all ideas i have I already shared it with you but I also would like to know it from your point of view.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Does sound money have to be Private? on: April 10, 2024, 07:52:25 PM
Over 95% of the US dollar is digital and all of the digital dollars are in the custody of a Bank.  When you make a purchase or transfer your US dollars your transaction is tracked and approved by the bank and by extension, the US Government.

Can you consider a transaction that is monitored and approved sound?

I think for a money to be sound you must be able to transact privately with no third party in the transactions.

What do you think?

Although it is the fact that the majority feels good about hiding their money from the Public and government eyes so that no one can know how much money this person is holding but buddy it is the world needs that need to be tracked to make the environment friendly so your transaction can be check in the form of records in the future sometimes we need the transaction statement of our account for the documentation work and for that it is necessary to make maintain our transactions record good so that our documentation makes good image for presentation.

Well if you are the one who do not want to make his single penny transaction on record so how will you cover this thing? Just a question as we know that most places do not accept crypto payments so we have to follow systems rules for now. What do you think??

340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using testnet as a security option. on: April 09, 2024, 11:46:37 PM
Has anyone tried using the Testnet to conceal their Bitcoin wallets? It seems to me that using the Testnet as an apparent primary Bitcoin wallet, and switching to a mainnet wallet for real transactions, would introduce a level of obfuscation that may fool some less sophisticated attackers or investigators. You could also maintain a variety of wallets on external drives to increase complexity.

Hmm, TBH for some of the free airdrops I've joined many testnet projects, and for testing purposes as well even some of the Bitcoin L2 tenets I've joined, in the last couple of weeks but the reason OP mentioned was not even in my imagination, because I'm not sure how many of the users will prefer to use a dummy wallet first to avoid these kind of attacks the outcome efficiency of this strategy is also unknown.

In my view if you hold a lot of the funds you should prefer using the hardware wallet and if you cant afford it, make sure to use the mutl=signature wallet, there some more alternatives as well but the best of all is Hardware wallet, and the multi-sign wallets. For more additional layers like 2fa and other different wallets that provide different ki nd of features set, make sure to find the open-source decentralized wallet.
