Just a headss up.
322  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What would you do? Mine with $40k or purchase Bitcoin? on: June 25, 2014, 04:25:06 AM
If you have 40K in Bitcoin, I would certainly keep it in Bitcoin rather than put it in miners, but that's just me.
323  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: About to turn off my mining rigs on: June 25, 2014, 04:09:53 AM
I'm trying to sell my Terraminer.

The cost of electricity mixed with the nutty hashrate is getting out of control.  Cant beleive how fast that hashrate climbed.   Undecided

325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes Article Predicts Bitcoin Value will "Explode" on: June 25, 2014, 03:52:26 AM
I think most people assume the price will go up exponentially in the next 1-2 years.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone else play with Bitcoins at work? on: June 24, 2014, 06:24:11 AM
I am about 99% sure my internet traffic is closely monitored at my workplace so I don't, unfortunately.
Actually, I'll open Winkdex once in a while...
327  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: FOR SALE: COINTERRA TERRAMINER IV on: June 22, 2014, 01:49:42 AM
Still for sale
328  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: FOR SALE: COINTERRA TERRAMINER IV on: June 21, 2014, 03:52:23 AM
Anyone have suggestions for escrow services?
329  Economy / Digital goods / Re: $50 Starbucks Card for $30 on: June 20, 2014, 05:38:09 AM
Can you be charged back or scammed when transferring starbucks credit?  I'd be interested but not sure how to transact properly here... help & you've got a sale!  Smiley
330  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: FOR SALE: COINTERRA TERRAMINER IV on: June 20, 2014, 04:43:01 AM
Hedging against myself here a bit.
Fully functionining Cointerra Terraminer located in Beaverton, Oregon.  Hashes steady at 1.62TH/s.  2nd owner but it is in immaculate condition.  Loud as all hell but it's in my spare room with an AC unit though it isn't really ncessary.  3.25BTC shipped, 3.15BTC local pickup.  I can meetup within reason but i work full-time and the price isn't high enoug hto justify a long trip...

If no interest, that's fine, just thought id send out the feelers.

THANKS!!

Why you selling your Cointerra Terraminer ??  Smiley

Well tbh I wasn't really planning on selling it.  I've seen it decrease in value by half from when i bought just one month ago.  I just think i'm playing a losing game right now.  My hydro bills are offsetting my nonexistant gains.  Generally speaking , ithink I just got in over my head.

333  Economy / Speculation / Re: What if Mark Zuckerburg sold his shares to buy Bitcoins? on: June 18, 2014, 04:12:23 AM
He wouldn't just be selling his shares he'd be selling his dignity because he'd be making the Wink twins rich as hell.  lol
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if the cryptography of Bitcoin gets cracked? on: June 18, 2014, 04:08:17 AM
Can the devs not just switch from SHA-256 to the next secure protocol?  It would make miners obsolete, is that the problem?
335  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: WTB Bitcoins!! on: June 18, 2014, 01:25:30 AM
Yeah im still looking.
Thought I may have had a deal but the dude was being sketchy and not accepting any escrow.  No offence to anyone but I think I have to escrow if Im buying.  If it works out, then we can proceed without when I buy again in the future, but for my first transaction, escrow only.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theory on Ghash situation. price manipulation. on: June 18, 2014, 12:59:25 AM
For sure it could be price manipulation, but I think that anytime a company actively does something against teh Bitcoin community, it could be argued that it is price manipulation, IMO.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "You should assume your IP address can be associated with you.." -Gavin Anderson on: June 17, 2014, 12:02:05 AM
I wish I knew about this before I got into Bitcoin.  I have nothing to hide so I don't mind using my plain IP but if I'm torrenting, I use a proxy just so that it's not so easily accessible.   Undecided
338  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: {WTB} KNC Miner equipment on: June 16, 2014, 11:41:57 PM
Do you have any interest in a Terraminer per chance?
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accidentally created a wallet address that someone else already has? on: June 16, 2014, 04:05:20 AM
Has there ever been a documented address collision?

Only when using a faulty random number generator.

What are you saying?  Sorry... can't tell if you're being sarcastic or serious.  :S
