Yes you are right that the Netherlands team is the most strongest team in this tri-nation series and this was an expected performance and the result of this match.
But I was expected that Netherlands team will do more than 170run in this match but their most of their player in the top order batters were don't have good performance as that is why they took only 132 in this match and I think this is not a good score as t20 format. However they did good on the bowling side and manged to win this match.
Netherlands batting has been looking weak in the recent months. But their bowlers have been exceptional (despite the absence of regular bowlers such as Fred Klaassen, Timm van der Gugten, Shane Snater and Roelof van der Merwe. Bas de Leede's absence has robbed them of a fine allrounder slot as well (which was partially filled by Logan van Beek before he moved to the MAX60 Caribbean competition). If they have their regular players back, then I guess they will perform good with the bat as well.

^^^ Pakistan A destroyed Bangladesh A in the first match of the series. They were unlucky that the second match got washed out. Abbas Afridi and Mehran Mumtaz were the main destroyers for Pakistan in the first match. In case of Abbas, he has been in and out of the national T20I team, but never managed to cement a regular place. At 23 years old, he is definitely one of the young prospects to consider for national team selection. Usman Khan and Haseebullah Khan were the ones who scored runs. The same as Abbas. They have played a few T20Is for the national team, but then forgotten.

We all know that the realistic odds are 50:50 at the moment, but supporters from each group are just making it seem like one has the advantage over the other. The whole RFK Jr stuff is blown out of proportion since his support doesn't mean much.
This is basically Clinton vs Trump 2.0. Clinton lost the first time around surprisingly while Trump lost against Biden later. If this cycle continues, Trump it is. If it breaks, Harris it is.
RFK supporters are mostly young urban voters and they can add a lot of value to the Trump campaign. Because most of the core demographics who support Trump are middle-aged suburb and rural voters. And there seems to be some over-reaction from the Democrat circles. They are refusing to remove Kennedy from the ballots in some of the swing states. They are hoping that if they keep him on the ballot, then he will eat into the votes of Trump. These sort of desperate steps can backfire on the Dems.
|
|
|
You can already tell they conspire to put Harris as the President as right now she even took over that seat already. RFK will likely be making campaigns also if he wants Trump to win.
I read that there will be no debate between the two Kamal vs Trump debate will never happen. This should have been a good platform for Trump to advance in the race. It would have been a big point if Trump pointed out that Kamala is the "border czar".
Kamala is leading in some of the polls and she feels that if she wants to keep the momentum ongoing, then she need to stay away from potential blunders. Trump has excellent communication skills and he will destroy Kamala if he is being given an even platform or a level playing field. And Kamala knows this. She will agree to debate Trump under extremely biased terms and conditions and this won't be acceptable for Trump. And then the mainstream media will accuse Trump of running away from the debate.

From the 30th August, a league is going to take a start. The first match of this league will be played between the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. This first match for sure going to win by Antigua and Barbuda Falcons because they have three legends from Pakistan. Muhammad Amir, Fakhar Zaman and the spinner Imad Wasim although he has not performed in the recent days as we have an example of 9th June against India. Pakistan was winning the game but he and Iftikhar were not making a single or double against the easy balls, which is why Pakistan could not chase 120 and lost that game.
29th August in local time, 30th August in Indian time. Faf du Plessis and Kieron Pollard are the major attractions this time. Apart from Pollard, Trinbago Knight Riders have quality players such as Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Tim David and Nicholas Pooran. Out of all the 6 teams, they looks like the strongest ones out there. A close second would be the Barbados Royals. Apart from Rovman Powell, they have Shimron Hetmyer, Romario Shepherd, Gudakesh Motie, Shamar Joseph and Dwaine Pretorius.

Confusing articles are appearing related to the inclusion of cricket in the LA Olympics of 2028. Apparently the Olympic Committee (IOC) wants to shift the cricket matches to Nassau County Stadium in New York, which is around 4,000 km away from Los Angeles. Anyway, both the locations have large subcontinental populations (especially from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) who can be expected to attend some of the matches. One of the reasons behind the move is that matches played in New York will be aired during prime time in India.

There seems to be some sort of a competition between Karun Nair or Mysore Warriors and Abhinav Manohar of Shivamogga Lions for the title of top run scorer in the Maharaja T20 Trophy. At this point, Manohar is leading Nair by a thin margin (448 runs vs 428 runs). But then, we have plenty of matches remain and there is a chance that Nair may overtake Manohar in the next few days. That said, Shivamogga has almost zero chances of qualifying for the knockout phase, while Mysore has almost confirmed their slot in the playoffs.
OK.. Karun Nair still trails Manohar. Abhinav Manohar today managed 59 n.o. from 24 balls against Bengaluru Blasters, but his team (Shivamogga Lions) still lost the match. The Lions now have just 6 points from 10 matches. On the other hand, Nair managed 64 from 31 balls, but the difference is that he managed to gift a win to his team (Mysuru Warriors) against Mangalore Dragons. The last round of group phase matches will be played tomorrow, but both Manohar and Nair won't get a chance to improve their stats. Their respective teams have completed all of the group phase matches.

LOL.... nepo kid or not, he did a lot of great work when he was the president of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). He made ACC the top performer among any of the regional confederations and made great progress in expanding the game. On the other hand, we all know what happened when Sharad Pawar and Narayanaswami Srinivasan were in power. Due to their greed and arrogance they pushed cricket backwards by at least 2 decades. I am sure that Jay Shah would be far better when compared to them.

West Indies is quite strong in T20 format, so it was not that surprising to see them taking a 2-0 lead against South Africa in the T20I series. Their main issue is that the players are simply not interested in representing the national side, as they can make far more money by playing various franchise T20 leagues. In both the matches, it was the South African bowling which failed, and ended up in gifting the matches to West Indies. They tried a few inexperienced bowlers such as Kwena Maphaka, Patrick Kruger and Lizaad Williams. But these bowlers failed to perform well.

Anyone following the Maharaja T20 Trophy? I was supporting Mysuru Warriors, but their performance so far has been disappointing. Captain Karun Nair has been among the runs (he has scored a total of 346 runs so far (second only to Abhinav Manohar of Shivamogga Lions), but other batsmen have failed to support him. That said, bowling has remained their weakest department, with both pacers and spinners going for plenty of runs. At this point, Mysore is at the 4th place in points table, with 4 wins from 8 matches.

Boca Raton Trailblazers are going to win this game 30 balls are left and they have to make 27 runs which will be very easy for them because David Warner is playing there as a captain and doing power hitting very well as he made 25 in 15 balls. Caribbean Tigers bowlers have to understand their lose, they are going to lose this game. This is MAX60 Caribbean league and it is in T10 format. Caribbean Tigers gave the target of 77 which was average but not high, if they would give the target around 90 to 100 then Boca Raton Trailblazers Batsmen would be under pressure right now.
Yeah.. Warner is in really good form at the moment. Anyway, group matches are all done in MAX60 Caribbean 2024. Now it will be the Super3 phase from today onwards and in the first match Boca Raton Trailblazers are going to take on New York Strikers. The format is a bit strange. From what I understand, the teams that are placed 2nd to 4th in the points table will play against each other and the winner from these three teams will qualify for the finals to take on table topper Caribbean Tigers.

If a member of the Kennedy family feels this way, then I wonder how the ordinary Americans are feeling. The way mainstream media is manipulating news to favor Kamala, in an ideal situation she should win by a landslide. Somewhere I read that 90% of the media coverage for Kamala is positive, while the same amount of media coverage for Trump is negative. That is a massive advantage for the Democrats. And the irony is that, despite all that Trump is still favored to win by a good margin.

I just based it on the odds and that's why I've said that she's the front liner. While with the news and sentiments of the people, I think that Trump is really likely to win after that assassination attempt happened.
Thanks, I understand that despite with all of these ratings that they're getting now, it's still the electoral college that shall proclaim the winner of this poll.
The very first thing that we need to understand is that the outcome of the POTUS elections in the United States is not decided by all the 50 states. The outcome is dependent on a handful of "swing" states. So it doesn't matter how much support Kamala or Trump can garner in deep-blue or deep-red states such as New York, New Jersey, Oklahoma or Alabama. The election will be decided by the voters in states such as Pennsylvania and Georgia. The problem with nation-wide opinion polls is that they take the full picture by taking all 50 states into account.

There was a match of Malta Women vs Greece Women, at Marsa Sports Club Stadium, in Malta. And Greece Women won by 5 runs Against Malta Women. In this match, Malta Women won the toss and they opted to Bowl first. GRCW scored total 122-8 runs in 20 Overs where they got 49 Extras runs from oppennt lol. Although haven't found any player to mention dor decent batting performance. Everyone lost their wickets with very lower runs. Thambi Sarada got 4 wickets. Besides when it comes to MALW, Anupama Rameshan and Shamla Cholasseri both player did 38 runs each and they got 22 extra runs from their oppennt. MALW players were playing good enough but I don't know why they lost, why they fail to surpassed the Targeted runs. Their final score was 117-6 runs in 20 Overs, still manay wickets were in hand. Low Strike rates can be considered behind the reason of lossing this match There was a good fightback from the Malta women towards the end. But still they fell short. I am not sure whether we can call them as "Malta women", since the team was entirely comprised of foreign citizens. On the other hand, the Greek team was 100% native. Watched the match between Isle of Man Women and Serbia Women as well. IOM Women won by 205 runs. Both the teams were 100% native, and that was really good to see, given the fact that we are taking about teams in Europe.

There are rumors that Mumbai Indians are going to get a stake in The Hundred, as they may purchase a certain amount of ownership in London Spirit. They are already present in many of the franchise leagues outside India. I am not sure whether the franchise will be renamed, but won't be too surprised to see MI London in T100. They already have MI Cape Town (SA20) and MI Emirates (ILT20). MI New York was the third franchise that was purchased in 2023, and MI London may become a reality by 2025.

West Indies won the first T20 match of South Africa vs West Indies by a huge margin of 7 wickets. We have seen that South Africa won the series earlier in the Test match, now in the beginning of the T20 series, instead of seeing the great performance, we can say that the West Indies are playing well to win the series. In the match South Africa team batsman Tristan Stubbs scored 76 runs off 42 balls his batting was interesting, unfortunately he could not reach the century. However, South African team tried hard but could not reach the victory level. West Indies team played brilliantly from the start and due to that they managed to win. Every batsman in the West Indies team batted with responsibility. Shai Hope and Alick Athanaze both batted well, and Nicholas Pooran's batting was nothing short of commendable. Nicholas Pooran scored 65 off 26 balls and is still unbeaten and has led the team to victory, currently leading the West Indies in T20I results. Players who are active in different franchise T20 leagues have performed well in this match. Tristan Stubbs helped South Africa to get to 174/7, but then Nicholas Pooran had other ideas. BTW, I don't understand the thinking from Rovman Powell. In a match where the required run rate was close to 9 runs per over, this guy made 7 runs from 15 balls. Also, don't know what happened to Nandre Burger. He had one of the most expensive spells he every bowled, as he went for 47 from his 18 balls.

Next month, there are two tri-series planned for the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. The first one will take place at Namibia, and apart from the hosts United Arab Emirates and United Arab Emirates will be taking part. In the second one, hosts Canada will take on Oman and Nepal. In both cases, the participating teams are not among the table toppers. So it gives an opportunity for teams like Namibia and Canada to win a few matches and go past Scotland and Netherlands in the points table.

The only problem I see with the Sri Lanka team is that they have only 4 wickets left. However Kamindu Mendis is playing at 56 and looking set and his partner Dinesh Chandimal is also settled down. If these two continue their innings, it would be nice for the team. Let’s see, I just hope this match will not go in tie and will end with a good result for the one team.
Sri Lankan lower order added a lot of runs in the first innings, so they are in decent shape at this point. Kamindu Mendis seems to be in good form, and in case the Lankans can extend their lead to around 150-160, then there will be a fighting chance to win this match. England bowling looked inconsistent. The main weak point was their spinner Shoaib Bashir. He failed to take wickets and was expensive as well. Perhaps they need to use Joe Root more often and keep pacers from the other end.

Decent recovery from Sri Lanka at Old Trafford. Angelo Mathews got his half-century, and as a result Sri Lanka has crawled to 125/4. They are leading by 4 runs now, which is good news since it makes sure that England need to bat again. Since today is the third day, I was expecting Shoaib Bashir to have some impact with his bowling. But he has failed to pick any wickets till now. And their strike bowler Joe Root hasn't yet come out to bowl in this innings. Prabath Jayasuriya and Asitha Fernando to come next. Sri Lanka will definitely fancy their chances.
