I've left all my post unedited, when a good AI generated detector is finally developed, I will come back to this thread. Amazing... the guy basically said he'll come back to the forum when an undetectable AI tool has been developed, lol. Actually, he said the opposite. He's saying the current AI detectors are inaccurate. That's kinda true, but in his case I don't believe that. Reading between the lines, he's saying he wants an AI machine that isn't detectable by the detectors... that's how you know an AI detector works (according to him): when it doesn't detect super-sophisticated AI text. Anyway, he stopped short of being banned & voluntarily removed himself from his campaign; I suppose that is at least a somewhat honorable thing to do.

As for PytagoraZ participation on the contest, the edition that I am running doesn't state rules to deal with this kind of behaviour and I don't know if it would be fair to insert them right now considering the stage of it. I will consider this a lesson learned and, if the next edition happens by me, will surely take this into consideration in order to create a more fair contest amongst everyone. Overall I tend to agree with GazetaBitcoin perspective (considering that the contest doesn't have a rule for this scenario but I am open to discussion): But since this is a forum where free speech is encouraged as much as it is possible, this involves also that people can vote for him and his pie. Receiving votes may look abnormal or immoral but, since no contest rules are broken, I don't think there is anything which can be done.
Personally I would bar alt accounts from entering the contest -- I mean a lot of the ones that don't even look like pies are probably all made by the same person or people. But of course its not always easy to prove who is or isn't an alt, etc. For the price prediction contests though, that's just pure scumbaggery to use multiple accounts in the same contest. I frankly don't care if its in the contest runner's rules or not, for me it implies an inherent non-trustworthiness. There is one sizable farm that actually all enters these contests together. I busted about half of them, was just getting annoying seeing them all take advantage of other peoples' generosity and nobody noticing or doing anything about it... Will get around to them next.

I will remove signature and Avatar once my resignation message is approved. I've left all my post unedited, when a good AI generated detector is finally developed, I will come back to this thread. Until then Good bye everyone, it was a nice ride. My last advice: Do not trust any AI detector tools yet. I should be the last victim. Edit: Resignation approved! I've asked the admin to deactivate the account. Cheers Amazing... the guy basically said he'll come back to the forum when an undetectable AI tool has been developed, lol. The sheer audacity to deny posting dozens of straight-up ChatGPT texts and then declare themselves a "victim." Bravo. Stunning, yet also brave.

Really Sorry that I have to disagree.
You are actually saying that the poster can put in a paragraph of valid and on-topic text and add some insults and foul language and get paid! Sorry this is not acceptable to me at all and if a manager can or will handle it like this they are also only in it for the money and not for fair delivery for their paying client. this gives me food for another poll!
For you it only counts if there is a post of only insults, then the poster should not get paid, but if he mixes it all is fine. Please reconsider, thanks
I'm really, really sorry that your forum experience did not work out as intended and we all failed to live up to your standards; clearly there are too many irresolvable issues here for your experience to be productive one, and we will all be deeply saddened by your departure.

I voted Yes, Acceptable. But it comes with the caveat of being conditional and whether or not the language used is specifically harmful to the employer of the campaign. OP is just big mad because he launched a Don Quixote-esque campaign against a rather reputable online casino for reasons not entirely clear. Everyone who dared to criticize his heavily-flawed logic and foul-attitude approach was dismissed as being a "signature shower". To my knowledge not one single forum member has taken his side on this issue. The casino tried to compensate and pacify him in every reasonable way, but he continues to spew unfounded bullshit against them, almost like he is trying to extort money from them or something. Clearly he's not right in the head and the feedback I left for him 4 years ago still holds true today, possibly more than ever before: | nutildah | | 2020-03-02 | | | | While I do not trust users who allow themselves to be "scammed" so frequently, that in itself is not worthy of a negative trust. I do recommend avoiding engaging in any business with this user as they have an extremely poor attitude and tend to complain (a lot) if things don't go exactly as they hoped. Check previous feedback both given and received for examples. |

So I looked into it a bit and it appears there are several cable and streaming options available for watching UFL games. The only problem for me is that they start mostly at the worst times possible.. Only "early" games, no "late" games. https://uk.movies.yahoo.com/movies/ufl-schedule-teams-watch-everything-155053804.htmlHow to watch the UFL
The UFL is going to be readily available for anyone who wants to watch it, as all games are going to air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Fox or FS1.
All of the networks are pretty readily available through traditional pay-TV subscriptions and live TV streaming services; Fubo, Hulu with Live TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV all carry both Fox and ESPN as part of their channel lineups. I have no idea what YouTube TV is, but guess I'll take a look at it & attempt to determine if its a total ripoff or not. I know there's also the sketchy free streaming service links but have no idea what URL they go by these days.

Let's make this a good report for the moderator, and leave him a mark about his dishonest presence on the forum. ... Among other things, I found it coincident with a text from 6 years ago. It's up to the moderators to decide whether it's plagiarism or not. ...
Already banned for plagiarism. Great catch! Really I wonder why these accounts even bother trying to keep getting away with this particular type of shitposting. We can already smell the AI on them from a mile away.

Even though the Stake campaign manager has said they are against the use of AI for writing posts, clearly that was a lie, as this user has now had 22 posts deleted as spam. Here's some of my more recent reports against them: I have reported the posts you mentioned above as well, which are also clearly AI-generated. Regardless of the opinion of their campaign manager, this user deserves to be banned.

Theymos did the right thing by with-holding sensitive IP information & PMs that people may have abused for the sake of harassing satoshi (or some other poor soul who's not satoshi). How exactly would people have access to Satoshi's forum IP addresses and PMs? (btw, Satoshi used Tor to hide his IP address, so it's not like an IP reveal would do much...) There's a few famous instances where he may have slipped his "real IP address" in the early days. Its pretty well documented, just need to do a Google search or two to find out about it, and all the related conspiracy theories. Theymos mentioned a long time back that he was considering releasing some other potentially sensitive satoshi-related data, but then he ultimately decided against it, and it was probably for the better that he didn't. Also, what prevents CIA/NSA from asking Theymos for that data? Wouldn't he comply to their orders?
I suppose if it was part of a subpoena or something, then yes, he would. A famous instance of this is what happened to pirateat40 and also the Ross Ulbricht related accounts. Which as far as I know, their account info & contents was subpoenaed, and he complied (I could be wrong but I don't think I am). Judging by the mixer ban, chances are he would...
Mixer ban has nothing to do with any of that. It was a pre-emptive move on his part to deter the possibility that Bitcointalk would perhaps someday become a takedown target for federal so-and-sos.

I'd rather it wasn't a rule. I wish people would show some common fucking decency without being prompted. But clearly people are not only incapable of that, but are also content to make a bunch of lame excuses as to why they shouldn't have to.
Nah man. You can't stop people from speculating on this sort of thing. Theymos did the right thing by with-holding sensitive IP information & PMs that people may have abused for the sake of harassing satoshi (or some other poor soul who's not satoshi). In any case, no point in trying to stop it from happening. Can't stop, won't stop. All bitcoiners will speculate until the cows come home, because, after all, it is fun to guess.

On the other hand, Dogecoin is inflationary and currently holds the title as the most important currency because those above it in market capitalization are either value reserves or will become so, or they aren't decentralized.
Since the rest of meme coins are neither inflationary nor decentralized but rather tokens, I don't see any currency currently that can compete with Dogecoin as the internet money. Expect it to be in X, and then the rest of internet companies will adopt it
All good reasons that make it a superior cryptocurrency... My only quip with it is 10k coins generated every single minute is a bit much. I would be OK with 5k. But it is what it it is, and its still my favorite crypto (probably). Other coins I see suited as actual currencies include Litecoin, Monero, and occasionally Bitcoin Cash will work in a pinch, if you need to move funds off an exchange and don't want to pay an exorbitant fee. Admittedly I've also used XRP for that purpose, but I would never hold any as an investment.

So, I've found this.1. Hive Moderation 99.9% 2. Writefull GPT Detector 1% 3. Writer AI Detector - 81% human-generated content. 4. Copyleaks AI Content Detector - cant' see the % but it says 'AI content detected' and highlights all the text. 5. Contentatscale AI Detector - Says 'PASSES AS HUMAN!' but can't see %. 6. Sapling AI Detector - Fake: 94.8% I have never used this before and I see there is a disparity of results but in this case yes at least two, detectors 1 and 6 would give it as generated IA text. For everyone's education, so we can see what an AI generated post looks like (and this is clearly one), here is the post in its entirety: The Austrian School of Economics and Bitcoin share a fascinating connection rooted in their philosophical and economic principles. The Austrian School, known for its emphasis on individualism, free markets, and sound money, has had a significant influence on the development and understanding of Bitcoin.
Sound Money Principles: The Austrian School advocates for sound money, which refers to a stable and reliable medium of exchange. Bitcoin aligns with this principle as it operates on a decentralized network with a fixed supply of 21 million coins, making it resistant to inflationary pressures that fiat currencies often face due to central bank policies created by politicians.
Decentralization: Both the Austrian School and Bitcoin emphasize decentralization. The Austrian economists argue against central planning in economics, favoring market-driven processes. Similarly, Bitcoin operates on a decentralized blockchain technology, allowing transactions to occur without intermediaries like banks, exchanges, or governments.
Individual Liberty: Austrian economics emphasizes individual liberty and property rights. Bitcoin, as a digital currency, provides individuals with greater financial sovereignty by allowing them to have full control over their funds without relying on third parties (not your keys, not your bitcoins).
Spontaneous Order: The concept of spontaneous order, central to Austrian economics, suggests that complex systems can emerge from simple rules without central coordination. Bitcoin's blockchain operates based on predefined rules (such as the consensus algorithm), leading to a decentralized system where transactions are validated and recorded without a central authority. It is recommended to run your own full node 24/7.
Critiques of Central Banking: Austrian economists often criticize central banking policies, such as quantitative easing and low interest rates, which can lead to distortions in the economy. Bitcoin, with its fixed supply and decentralized nature, presents an alternative to traditional fiat currencies controlled by central banks. Bitcoins are controlled by the people, the full node operators.
Market Competition: Both the Austrian School and Bitcoin advocate for free-market competition. In the realm of currencies, Bitcoin's existence alongside traditional fiat currencies promotes competition and innovation in the monetary system.
In conclusion, the Austrian School of Economics and Bitcoin share common principles related to sound money, decentralization, individual liberty, spontaneous order, critiques of central banking, and market competition. The emergence and adoption of Bitcoin have sparked discussions within the Austrian economic community, with some seeing it as a potential solution to monetary issues consistent with their principles.
My 3 go-to detectorsCopyleaks: AI Content Detected Hive Moderation: 99.9% likely to contain AI Generated Text Sapling.ai: 99.9% Fake There's no doubt in my mind this is AI spam and should be deleted as such. The only thing is its this user's first AI post, so we haven't established a pattern that that's what they're doing. But regardless this post should be reported & deleted.

For anyone that loves a good story, I created a streaming service quality documentary on the Story of Dogecoin which you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_cnJmxek8YDoge's story is unique so I wanted to highlight this to the world and hopefully inspire some newcomers to give it a chance. This video is very well done -- you covered a lot of the important basics and milestones. Was interesting to hear Jackson Palmer speak -- I didn't know he was from New Zealand or wherever (not the U.S.). Its true that DOGE is pretty much 100% Elon-driven. We'll just have to wait and see if he actually ever does anything for it with Twitter.

Um I realize I am very late to this but how tf did fastestfee go all the way up to 50+ sats/vb a few days ago? Probably some new ordinal drop or a BRC drop? There's so many of these it's hard to keep track. It's like the shitcoin craze of 2013 or the ICO bubble of 2017. Yes it was the whole Runes launch by Rodarmor. He got bored with Ordinals and invented a new ordinals-like system... Seems like he's just trying to milk a cash cow by this point. I suspect this fad will be even more short-lived than Ordinals.

Since I registered as a member of this great forum
When was this? 2021 or 2022? Because there's no way this is your first account. Look at your post history: sucking up to JJG, making lists of meritable posts, involving yourself in Reputational matters, making generic posts in Beginners & Help and then some Gambling section posts as you are readying yourself to one day apply for a casino sig spot. (For what is likely to be your 3rd or 4th account, if not more). Does it mean that our activities here just ends within the forum and doesn't extend to real life?
Unless you commit some kind of grand-scale federal crime, no your activities don't extend to real life. Unless you piss off a billionaire con artist and then he comes after you to smear your reputation across the internet I guess. And how do we cope with performing transactions with one another even when our identities are not known and in a case of fraudulent activities, how can the culprits be held responsible or accountable?
Use trustless options when available, 3rd party swappers or sales markets. Otherwise, trust is all you have. Even if you choose an escrow, you still have to trust them. Just remember: nothing is as it appears, especially outside of this forum. If you get screwed making a deal off-forum, well that's totally on you. If you get screwed making a deal on-forum, well its probably your fault for being too trusting, but at least we can red paint the scammer.

Tabloid news update.
It appears that Bill Belichick is very happy with his dating life as a 71 year old man and he might not have the motivation to find another job in the NFL as a head coach for this year hehe. There was also an article mentioning that said Kyle Shanahan would accept Bill Belichick in his team as a defensive coordinator, however, this call was not answered. I am quite certain Belichik would only accept the offer if Shanahan offered Belichik his job hehehehheee.
He should absolutely retire from the NFL, in every capacity. Let him spend the rest of his years living it up on Tinder, or wherever his dating scene happens of course... He was a great coach. One of the best to ever do it (in my lifetime anyway). Head coaching record (per Wikipedia): Regular season: 302–165 (.647) Postseason: 31–13 (.705) Career: 333–178 (.652) Why sully that kind of legacy with a couple more mediocre years that will undoubtedly lower these near-godlike statistics? Just disappointed fans, whoever they may be, "we shoulda had a better coach than this Brady-less, washed-up wannabe playboy so-and-so." Anyway, hats off to Belichick, or Coach Masters, as they used to call him in Madden as he never granted Madden his likeness rights.

Note that satoshi left before the creation of the bitcointalk forum and so never actually posted here.
Its never actually been named the "Bitcointalk Forum." There is "Bitcointalk", which references the URL to which the transition occurred from bitcoin.org, and the "Bitcoin Forum," which has always been the name of the forum, both pre- and post-migration. Nobody is claiming that satoshi posted on "Bitcointalk", but he did post on the "Bitcoin Forum", which is the same name, same layout, same content (minus more recently-added boards), and same forum as this one since 2009. https://web.archive.org/web/20100814184008/https://www.bitcoin.org/smf/index.php?topic=191.0Saying "satoshi never posted on Bitcointalk" is just a way for the CSW camp to interject confusion unnecessarily, and the entire talking point should be put to rest as it has always been a manufactured and pointless controversy.
