In my case I am more of a Bitcoin enthusiast, but not hardcore as I do not know enough. I buy, I spend some (on gold) and hold the rest.
I do not know if the financial world will collapse, my *guess* would be NO, but who really knows? Not I.
HODLing BTC along with gold and other assets, in a good diversification, will do about as much as is reasonably possible against a currency collapse.
Diversification works in both good financial times and bad ones. Highly recommended.
Most of us are bitcoin opportunist, not hard core bitcoin bugs. I still have bank account with fiat, still have retirement account in fiat. I myself is not a gold bug, not believe in the conspiracy theory either.

bit-bug is a term I borrowed from gold bugs.
Gold bug (sometimes spelled goldbug) is a term frequently employed in the financial sector and among economists in reference to persons who are extremely bullish on the commodity gold as an investment. They are also groomer and dormer, believe that current world will collapse, debt will destroy US dollar, an any currency backed by any government. Big banks, governments sold 1000 times existing gold, to depress the gold price, one day, this will turned around.
Bitcoin bugs 1 will be a hard core believer of bitcoin. 2 will be a groomer and dormer of any existing government/bank backed currency.
Are you one of them?

I use paper wallets to store my bitcoins... i have around 7 -10 wallets now, I use multiple just to make sure the others are safe when one wallet is hacked. I don't have much coins though, but that's the safest way i could think of right now to keep them safe.
I need to do the same, your method is much more secure. I am thinking about ding it, but I am lazy. Currently I have little in Coinbase, little in Electrum, and some in btcjam. I stop loan out bitcoin in btcjam any more. I don't have much myself.

The reason I want to own is to hedge against the collapse of our government, Euro, or Chinese government. If we do have a world war, no currency is immune, only gold hard gold can be used to buy food. I expect bitcoin will survive.

Stay away from any cloud mining, I lost over 2 bitcoins in the past. In my opinion, gambling away Bitcoin is better at least you have done fun.

Not only they are profitable, they are getting a better deal than Google, Facebook ad. What they get here is intended, concentrated audience with high conversion rate. Also they claim they are supporter of Bitcoin community, which is quite true as well. It is a win win situation. The only regret I have us I should join one earlier.

As long as Microsoft block gain not interfere Bitcoin block chain, we will be fine. Microsoft is mot God of Internet, Google is. I will be more worried if Google create something similar. So far Google has been quiet in this front, which is quite unusual.

I also think it is unlikely that btc to reach 5k. But again I have been wrong so many times, I don't even trust myself. All I can say is compare to gold, bitcoin has a finite supply, slightly deflation, it will reason any price it want to.

If I vote for him, can I get free coin? Oh wait, this is against the law. Law prohibits anybody from buying votes, with money, bitcoin and TRUMP coin.

Even the best alt coin , you may still lose money. No alt can rise faster than btc. Best alt only help you in the sense you lose less.

I don't think it is time to sell. Most people here owns bitcoins, so we tend to be biased towards holding. However, it really depends on your personally asset allocation and tolerance for risk. If you bought at low, maybe now it is time to take a few chips off table, like selling 30% of you holdings. Do your own dd.

I had coinbase for couple of years now. Yeah it is safe. I check my bank statement every month, Coinbase never deduct more than it is supposed to.

Your First Time experience with BTC ?? I was trying to buy some BTC, at that time, only MtGOX has it, but i have to wire money there so I did pull the trigger
When did you start using BTC for transactions?? I bought some Lite coin with my bit coin. Thinking lite coin will catch up with bitcoin, This is a huge loss.
What do you feel about BTC after using it for such a long time?? Bitcoin is too volatile, when I try to pay with bitcoin, the store owner is like they will have to sell right away ...
I lost most of my original coins to HYIP and cloud mining. PBMining and HashProfit to be exact

bitcoin is way better, Paypal will limit your fund, freeze your fund for no reason. Bitcoin will not, and bitcoin is instantaneous.

I'm trying to sell some bitcoins anonymously (I'm not looking for 100% anonymity but a method which I don't have to give my ID for example), here's what I found: 1. Cash by mail with local bitcoin but I'm afraid of receiving counterfeit bills. 2. Bitcoin ATM 3. Sell for cash face to face. 4. Getting a Payoneer card and sell bitcoin to payoneer with localbitcoin Do you have know of any other way I can sell it? and also do you know of any other debit card besides Payoneer that doesn't require ssn?
1. You will have to give name, isn't it? 2 Bitcoin atm requires you regsiter first. 3 This okay.

Taking it from a person burned by cloud mining multiple times, hold your coins is the best strategy.
