Simple explanation of the difference between a standard mixer and CloakSend.If you look at the screenshot posted last night you can notice an amount input box. In a standard mixer, you don't need that. A standard mixer is ALLOT less complicated to set up and in many ways FAR less effective. In CloakSend you have to tell the system to "listen" for the amount you are sending so it can double verify an input and output. If you look at the pic before it shows a simple mixing service. The type used by many "pseudo anon" coins. Send - Mixer- Destination  Compare that to the CloakSend system in which transaction inputs and outputs are 100% decoupled.  We made it web based for testing purpose only and to get you guys a demo as quick as possible. It's being directly integrated into the wallet in the immediate time following on from confirmation of some beta tests.

Here is a sneak peak of the beta test version of CloakSend...
It looks very simple on the outside but infact it's comprised of several linked components.
The core components being a public website, admin website, MySql database, and a Windows Service that monitors for deposits and fulfils the transactions.
Then there is the CloakWallet but for the purpose of testing we are just setting this up on an HTTPS server, when that's done, we can go live with public beta.
We'll have an optional Tor proxy function when we progress to the wallet upgrade for those wanting a little extra privacy |

Still did not get any payout from the multipool, have mined for an hour or two with 30 MHS Scrypt and solved a few blocks to test it when it was launched.
It seems that you are not getting payed if you are not mining when the payout is executed, anyone else with the same problem?

At that time the multipool was on NeoCoin, which we couldn't sell at the time of the last payout. |

Correct, and in particular X13. The multipool was mining an X13 coin that was doing well but unfortunately it crashed (in value) before it was dumped for btc.
Then there was another coin where the market got frozen on a certain exchange.
So we are working on a way to autoswitch and auto dump faster.
What a coincedence! Which coins you are talking about? Mammothcoin was the x13 that tanked and Neocoin was the scrypt we couldn't sell and we have switched over to another coin for now. There's some things to tweak so we should get it improved shortly. |

Announcement:
As promised, here is a status update, as well as some juicy bits of info that reveal future projects, two of which are pretty unique
Work in Progress.
Exchange anon status: CloakSend 85% complete
Prototype version will be working Thursday 12th June 2014 at which point we will begin testing.
After that, it will be implemented directly into the Cloakcoin wallet client. So expect a wallet update combined with Exchange Anon on Friday 13th; right on schedule.
As CLOAK is added to more exchanges the anonymity / security and diminishing centralized effect will happen as we continue to refine the CloakSend service.
Buy and Sell cloak for BTC directly from your wallet: CloakTrade 75% complete
There are perhaps some practical reasons for being able to trade Cloak for BTC directly from your wallet, convenience being one of them.
CloakTrade will be something that evolves to feature market data and live feeds, we can potentially allow trading of other coins apart from CLOAK in future updates.
There are tabs being created, in wallet, for each major exchange that adds CLOAK. It will be secure and will be made open source (although we are debating whether to close source it in short term).
Launch time for CloakTrade is this weekend, early next week latest.
Projects that will happen after completion of CloakSend and CloakTrade.
These are the two things that were referred to earlier today, they will be the first of their kind to be built into an altcoin client.
1: Encrypted document sending. CloakDocs
The ability to send any document from one client to another, securely, safely and away from prying eyes. We will release a whitepaper on this next week.
2: Automated subscription payments. CloakPay
Websites that support payments in CLOAK, will be able to benefit from allowing users to enable subscription payments for any type of service, accepting CLOAK payment method.
The cloak wallet will log an address and make the payment for you, on the pre-designated date for as long as you set it up for; allowing you to get on with other things in life. Whitepaper also incoming for this one.
Other near term developments that we can confirm will happen:
3: Encrypted messaging. CloakTalk
Secure P2P messaging between CloakCoin clients. Keeping in the theme of encryption this will suit Cloak well.
4: Encrypted chatrooms. The CloakRoom
Similar to existing IRC chatrooms, we'll put a similar service right into the CLOAK client. The messages sent will be encrypted in your wallet allowing "Cloakers" everywhere accross the globe to speak to one and other, with higher levels of security.
There will be more projects; this is just the beginning as we enhance this coin, to the best of our teams ability.
The aim is to make CLOAK into the most versatile (Alt) CryptoCurrency to date.
We are open to ideas and suggestions for future projects but for now... perhaps we have enough to work on
