321  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Exaggerated Fee on blockchain ($134) on: November 16, 2020, 11:25:11 PM
^
There is no need to be that afraid. Just make sure to check out the mempool before you make a transaction and use the RBF option so you can increase the fee later on.
OP is using blockchain.com wallet and it doesn’t have the option of enabling RBF and there's no way you can increase fee for such tx as I had faced (my friend actually) such an issue and looked for a solution bud didn’t get any at that moment.
Just curious, isn't it possible to take seed from Blockchain wallet and import to Electrum for accelerating the transaction? I have withdrawn my coins from the Blockchain wallet in the mentioned way and no problem has happened in the process. I have extracted the seed from the settings and copy-pasted the seed after downloading the BIP32 offline browser page.
322  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance tempararly blocked my withdrawal because i changed pc on: November 16, 2020, 10:59:13 PM
this issue solved, i can withdraw now and symbiotic_bnb helped on it.  Smiley

Great, I'm glad you solved your problem "without a loss".

btw. Did you get an explanation, why it's happened? You can change the subject of this topic to do not confuse people.
It will be fine if you can give us this information for future reference. your experience could spare someone problems and headaches
They did not explained anything but just wanted my selfie video with document because i the right person who using this account because sudden change of a device.

And also another ID card for verification? I've had this experience with them last year where they asked for my IDs again and have to face a camera on my laptop. Their system wants to see my faces and eyes to blink.

Did you have a 2fa enabled?  $30K is a big amount. If its mine, I would probaly send just any ID they ask to get the money back.
both acc fine now, no problem.
Problem solved or what happened?
Binance can use tricky ways for not letting users withdraw but it happens in rare cases. A similar situation has been the case on another forum and the Binance team has unlocked the account after the video verification.  Looks like, you have missed an important document for verifying the account because $30k is not a big amount for worldwide crypto exchange.

these scammers are getting creative
You can't teach an old dog new tricks  Wink These scammers will come back with new methods for finding another series of victims and they will never stop until get arrested which looks impossible under these conditions. The big boys know how to trade OTC and they don't open a new forum account just for asking "can you please rob me?".

325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What should I study to learn how to trade? on: November 15, 2020, 11:36:52 PM
There are more than thousands of sources for learning the basics but I suggest reading the babypips website books which cover all trading materials with funny pictures. You can look through the different threads on the forum as an additional source but don't try to learn from fake rich traders on YouTube or other streaming sites.  Learning through the YouTube platform will not make anyone a professional trader because the incorrect information can be the reason why traders tend to lose often.
326  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are you interested in little research jobs that are rewarded in Bitcoin? on: November 15, 2020, 10:55:04 PM
In any case, it is better than clicking to random links that can inject malware to browser/server/PC. Newbies will gladly hunt the domains if the reward becomes more after the first few transactions.
I am sure, you will find someone who wanna spend the time getting a reward rather than watching Netflix. Chilling is always an option but not earning money by doing small online tasks.
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy advice on: November 15, 2020, 10:30:56 PM
Betting on a single team every week doesn't guarantee that team will be able to recover the loss in case of winning after 20 rounds. I prefer to make a multi betting rather than patiently waiting for the victory of single team. Btw, martingale money management is the way to go for achieving the best results, IMHO.
328  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 15, 2020, 09:08:07 PM
^Martingale is something you do for quick short periods and stop and not continue forever, you could try to martingale way your into the bank but you are going to get bankrupted before any of that happens. Obviously you could lose your first 10 bets in a row and never win anything and only lose, however that is not that much common (even though quite possible) which means you could potentially 2x your profit and stop there.

If you could just open your gambling account every day, put 10 bucks, double it, stop and repeat this every day, if you lose that 10 dollars you stop, you could do this 20 or so times a month, and lose 10 or so times a month, meaning you would make 200 dollars profit. This is the idea where professional martingale players do. At 15/15 you break even, and anything above you get a profit, anything under you lose. Never continue forever, stop when you lose base or win double.

Without martingale (which is an aggressive approach when you double/triple your bets after losing one/two or more bets) I think we can't make profit! It's some basic, over time you need to rise your bets if you wish to make some big wins, or at least to rise odds, it's one or other!
I tried with some bankroll strategies, to make 10-20% every day, to make double from a specific amount... all that gone to air, maybe I didn't have patience, or good strategy... who knows, but I am still trying, that's what counts I guess! Smiley
Depending on the aggression level, money management strategies can be the reason why gamblers burn the bankroll faster than the blink of an eye. Sometimes, I prefer to increase the risks and hope to win bigger with the same bet amount instead of sitting on the same R:R with an increasing bet amount. Playing with odds is safer than wasting the money for the initial win amount which is the main problem in Martingale strategy, IMHO.
329  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos Withdrawal Fees Rise (!?)|| November 2020 on: November 14, 2020, 11:53:26 PM
Not all of them actually, in fact some casinos are giving us an option to use altcoins to avoid the high transaction fee, and I think at this moment, the transaction fee is not high anymore, so if casinos had increase it before, they better get it back to normal now.
The increase in fees when making withdrawals is due to the factor of the increase in the price of bitcoin, whereas for withdrawals using other altcoin methods I don't think the price increases, because I see there are still some gambling places that still have fixed withdrawal fees, it's just that possible transactions to the designated wallet will take longer to confirm.
Not directly related to price. It is due to a network bottleneck and it is possible also price climbs higher but the unconfirmed transaction was less than 5000. So the withdrawal fees will be as same as the previous day, the swap functions should be implemented for avoiding to pay the 10% of withdrawal amounts less than $20. Using altcoins is always a better choice for gambling, in my opinion.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 14, 2020, 11:18:01 PM
I doubt the new agreements by Paypal CEO will be the fuel for the next crypto season, there are many alternative options that may happen later. Before eliminating the weak hands, the market will not go over $17000. Maybe the altcoins will rise after the BTC market rates become more stable. The unstable and volatile market conditions are the main source of fear by new investors, the FOMO will climb to the highest possible ratio if the BTC can rebound from the $11000 after making a few fake breakouts near the main support-resistance price lines.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cloud storage isn't safe place for your wallet keys on: November 14, 2020, 10:41:31 PM
I never ever store my valuable data on cloud storage but sometimes I use this choice as a backup. For making multiple copies of the same data, cloud storage is a safe variant but for strengthening the security of private keys the cloud storage is my last choice. Better to avoid rather than thinking about this. The convenient ways are listed by other users, just choose one and you are good to go.
332  Economy / Exchanges / Re: what is the lowest fee platform for buying selling bitcoin at this time? on: November 14, 2020, 09:57:21 PM
Here: https://www.cryptowisser.com/exchanges?continent=&coins=1541&fee=2.0

From cryptowisser.com, please customize the filter, at least add Bitcoin (coin number = 1541 as seen above) to the filter.
The table header shows you three types of fee:
  • Taker
  • Maker
  • Withdrawal
You must choose the one you are interested in.

A bonus advice for you:
  • If you have time and serious care about fee, please take a look at Segwit support. If they support Segwit address and Segwit-transactions, you can have more convenience and save more fees.
  • Segwit address helps you to reduce transaction size (with same number of inputs and outputs) than Legacy address. Smaller size means less transaction fee.

Cryptowisser.com does not give you information for Segwit support but from filter and screening results with the site, you can manually check a few exchanges and choose one from them (Check their ToS, FAQ pages - search with Segwit as a keyword) or create trial account and check their details with their Deposit/ Withdrawal addresses.

You can get it from the table there: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Segwit_support but at the end you must check it by yourself on exchanges with your real accounts.

Thanks for sharing this valuable information, I was also looking for such a tool. After checking a few crypto service comparison websites, I gave up looking for the perfect one. Maybe you have a suggestion for the trader who deposits/withdraws small funds frequently and looks for the lowest withdrawal fee exchange?
333  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 14, 2020, 08:57:14 PM
Are these odds normal ?
Few days back I was playing the crash game and everything was going fine until the negative strike hit me hard.
At first I thought the next bet would at least go 2x but it was a crash.
It repeated for more than 10+ times and it drained all my funds. At the end I lost all my funds and my account had 0 balance.

Crashing 14 times in sequence. Is this normal ?

It happens, the longest loss sequence <2.00x was more than 47 on a row a few months ago. IIRC, there was a thread which explains the statistical probability of hitting high multipliers on crash based games(Crash, Rocket, Blast) on a gambling board. I will find and quote that thread as a reference.
For understanding the reason why crash crashes fast, check this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5265896.0
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 13, 2020, 11:57:51 PM
I doubt it will be possible for the next few years, maybe the BTC accepted ATM machines will be a temporary solution. The world is not ready for full mass adoption, so it will take time to reach the desired level of adoption. Land-based casinos have made several partnerships with the crypto projects that combine both fiat and crypto payment gateways but none of these partnerships has changed the attitude, unfortunately.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 13, 2020, 11:31:51 PM
Sports betting is a combination of both luck + research. First and foremost is research which helps you to know the team which may have the upper hand so that you can bet on it and then some part is the luck which may help you win the bet as that day may belong to that team.

But that doesn't apply to anyone, and I think it is not the term "research" that we usually say but the analysis of the team and players. I say that it doesn't apply to anyone since they have the knowledge about the team and the players so these gamblers could just make some adjustments based on the available data or scenarios. Still, they can lose even despite all of that, the reason we call it gambling.
We lose on slots, card games, and sports betting but the reasons are not the same for all mentioned categories of gambling. Having an argument to win on a gamble and just gambling based on the inside feeling will create a different profit curve over time. I prefer to lose on sports betting if the chances are in my favor for this decision. If the odds can be controlled by the gamblers, the smart gamble will go for the best possible choice which is sports betting here.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: this is the time for Ethereum on: November 13, 2020, 10:59:19 PM
an upgrade that doesn't look very good for ethereum only able to go up above $ 400 this bull run is great in my opinion because bitcoin can pump very high and other coins but not for ethereum $ 1000 by year's end is hard to come by because there is still a trend holding and going down for ethereum at this time
I don't think $1000 price this year end is possible, were close to end of this year but the price is still above $400. Yes not for ethereum since these days btc is increasing and I believe ethereum will have its time to pump in the market. If not this year, probably we can see a good move of eth in the market to happen soon.
I don't see a reason here to buy more ETH except for the deep speculation which takes its source from Hype. In all conditions, the uptrend for BTC means the overall bullish market for ETH too. The timeframes traders use is based on hourly graphs but using the weekly or even monthly graphs will give better results. The HYPE is not going to stay here everyday, market makers know how to handle the pressure by the mass demand after a HYPE. The ETH HYPE will be the next opportunity if the BTC price can cross the market resistance levels above $19000.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Token on: November 13, 2020, 10:32:07 PM
I strongly advise finding the token for trading by the searching name of the project, better to check the CMC and copy-paste the contract address one by one. Scammers use the same methods which were use case for Forkdelta. Better safe than sorry, IMHO. Uniswap also suggests the contract address of token, simply copy the given data and make a small online research. The whole research process will be less than 10 minutes and I usually prefer to spend this time rather than losing money on scam projects.

The new UI is sweet and smoother compared to the old version and hope you will add 2FA as promised Smiley
Btw, the ETH deposit/withdrawal issues were happened yesterday, and hope it is solved now. I will deposit in a few hours and try the new website layout.
The team member from support has helped to sort this out but the delay was annoying, TBH.
Finally, the good news series is here and the new updates will bring more gamblers to this platform. All the best, as always!
