321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Provably Fair- How Can You Know? on: February 07, 2024, 06:53:27 AM
Assuming it's provably fair, you will still lose your money, I don't bother looking into this anymore because it's like chasing a shadow, even if you caught up with it you can't catch it, why worry myself? Instead, I will keep taking risks to see how long it will take me to win on the casino.

I only need to make sure that I am using a reputable online casino, the doubt of provably fair occurs only if the casino is brand new or you keep losing for way too long, maybe weeks after weeks and no a single luck even if the amount is small, it might be time to look into another online casino or take a break.

Some gamblers prefer third party game provider for this reason, if a casino only have games built by them, there might be some unfairness happening behind the scene, some relies on seed harsh that casinos provide too, I don't rely bother to doubt, because I use good casinos to try my luck.
322  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: DO NOT plug random cables and sticks into your device. on: February 06, 2024, 02:13:35 PM
There is nothing that anyone can tell me, it's a big risk running a PC with crypto wallet or assets on the PC, there are many ways that your PC can get infected, I spent most of my youth days doing experiments on PC, windows OS is not strong when it comes to security wise.

This was why I went with a airgapped hardware wallet that I can update the software without having to plug into a PC for upgrade, and the one I choose has no wifi or internet connection needed, PC isn't that safe like you think, even if you are so careful you can still make a mistake one day when operating the system.

Now I can do anything I want on my PC, there is no crypto related things stored on my PC so I can install what I want without having to deal with the fear that something bad could go wrong.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling mistake repeated by the gamblers on: February 06, 2024, 01:29:26 PM
It's better to have the overconfidence but risk what you can afford to lose than having greed, a greedy gambler can never stick with what they can afford to lose, they always want the highest number of odds, they want to make that money faster, this is what they do.

Overconfidence on small money is still a safe gambling plan, if your overconfidence cost you the money that you lost is something you are prepared to lose but the game only choose to not work out in your favor, it's way better than greed.

Greed makes a gambler leave his or her safety boundary and start taking higher risk, they are the type that have no patience, when they run out of money they will look for someone to lend them instead of them to wait for another day when they make extra money.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent have you hated yourself due to your gambling losses? on: February 06, 2024, 12:18:36 PM
Let me see? 🤔

There was actually a time where I got angry with gambling because I keep losing my money, I don't use a lot of money but the gradual losing was so noticeable and it went on for a long period of time, I got mad and I forced myself to open up a new account on another casino.

This was the time that I stopped gambling like four times in a week, now I do it just twice, and opening a new casino doesn't solve the constant losing then, I decided to went on a break for like three weeks and I came back and it was a bit better than before, I think taking some time off gambling is not a bad idea after all.

Gamblers who don't have a lot to lose always end up chasing losses, I've not done this before because I knew about the urge of chasing losses in gambling, it's like walking into the trap of a casino, this will definitely drain you faster than anything else, trust me, not all those that ended up chasing losses knew they would, it just happened.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This was my highest risk. on: February 06, 2024, 11:33:17 AM
If you keep playing this way you will only win one out of thirty games you play in this manner, it's not a wise gambling strategy, that's a high numbers of odds, it's nothing but a symbol of greed.

The highest amount I have risked on gambling was $90 and I eventually lost it all, I have since then went back to my $20 and $30 spending on gambling per week, since I don't gamble every single day I am happy with this idea of mine.

I know it can be hard to win using small money too but it's more convenient for me than using a high amount that I will later regret risking on gambling, do what's convenient for you, but make sure it's not the type that could put your ass in a tight position where you will end up regretting later.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 05, 2024, 06:27:56 PM
It's greed and we are all once like this, until we learn or we choose to learn from the lessons, because not all gamblers are learning from their mistakes, some are too blind with their own believes.

It doesn't took me very long to understand that once you win from gambling, you should save your initial and use some part of that money for a long period of gambling time, I mean in weeks to come or even months, depending on how big is the amount that you won.

There was a time that I use $40 to win a bit over a thousand dollars, I took out like 80% of the money and I keep using $40 three times in a week for a long period of time, it was a very good plan that came in handy, there was another similar time in the past too, and I use that money to buy some bitcoin and withdrew into my cold wallet, be smart when you are making money, tomorrow is not promised.
327  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies how do you feel when your post is criticised. on: February 05, 2024, 05:10:48 PM
If your post is been criticised it could be for the greater reasons, maybe this is what will reshape your mind and soul and become a better version of yourself? I was once a newbie on here and I felt hurt at first when my posts are been criticised but I learned from it

You should read what those who are criticizing you are saying, they might be right about you, and if their point isn't valid then you should just ignore them, I remember a time where I posted about my father who was dead already at the time, on about how he was supportive, someone on this forum make a joke out of the post.

I felt annoyed at first, but I later ignore it, people will always be people, we should not always give space for such things to determine how we will live the rest of our days, if there is something they are trying to teach you, just learn from it.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL bitcoins, you can do it! Look at HODL camp map to build up strong hands on: February 05, 2024, 04:08:42 PM
This map is screaming out the importance of the Bitcoin four years cycle, and it only favours those who understands, this was how I found peace with Bitcoin investment, if you can respect the four years cycle you will be a long term winner.

Although, I choose to remain a realist, Bitcoin can't pump like it used to do in the past year when it was earlier and cheap, now do not let your too much price expectations take the best of you, be ready to start taking some profits after having going into the year 2025.

To some people, Bitcoin is the best-known asset to humans and they are willing to sit and even sleep on their bags, they have the conviction for long term, this is also my goal but it won't stop me from taking profits and buying back the dips in 2026, like I've said before, all it takes is understanding the four year cycle.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pay off DEBT by do Gambling? think again before you loss more on: February 05, 2024, 03:45:10 PM
Sound like a curse, the moment you start gambling to pay back your debt you have opened a door to a forever debt paying because the problem after will be you vs the gambling habit, you won't be able to quit, it's a different thing if you gamble because you have no other choice at that moment and you win, then you never look back.

I know someone who was forced to gamble, because he wanted to send her small sister to school, with no parents alive to help them, he turned into a gambler and to my surprise he was lucky, he use gambling money to start a business in Lagos Nigeria and to my surprise he still keeps gambling till today.

When I asked him how he is doing it without losing everything back he said he know how risky gambling is, and for him to avoid losing it all, he stick with a certain amount, I like calling him a genius, because he maintained his belief in gambling very well, no greed and he is a successful business guy now, if you and up paying your debt with gambling there is a big chance that you will want to continue, and since getting lucky was what found you at first, you will easily become greedy.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Another health benefit of online gambling on: February 04, 2024, 01:54:32 PM
There is none that I know of, because most gamblers are gambling to make more money, they mostly are in panic mode all the time as some of them risk a lot on gambling than others, I don't think that any health benefit is available in gambling, it's a parallel line to me, debt and large sum of money is what causes some unhealthy in gambling.

If you can are someone like me who don't depend heavily on casinos to make my daily bread then you should enjoy gambling, I do spend money to have fun at times and I am fine with it, if you can spend some dollars on subscriptions like Netflix or your online gaming subs you can do the same with gambling, you only pass the boundary of a healthy gambler if you risk more than you can afford to lose.
331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: SlowMist reports 80% of X comments related to phishing software on: February 04, 2024, 12:10:51 PM
Elon Musk disappointed me, when he took over I though things will be better with Twitter finally, while he was sacking some workers I was like finally, some adjustments will be made but he did nothing.

Legit projects that pass out a new tweet need to put a final warning sign below their tweet saying that anything under their warning is a scam attempt, imagine that, Twitter is a very bad place for crypto beginners, they will surely become a victim because everyone on that platform are trying to take advantage of people, they drop fake airdrop links and fake NFT claims, the list goes on.

As good and very informative that Twitter is for crypto lovers, it's a very unsafe place now, and if this keep going on it will affect the platform, for someone who is into crypto himself I never expected him to just sit back and do nothing, he knows better.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe visiting a seer or spiritual house could make you win a game? on: February 04, 2024, 10:05:59 AM
If that's your belief then you can go on with it, sooner or later you will find out if it's working or you are been used for the money, which I believe it will happen, there is no seer that can make you win gambling anywhere, if they have that power they will have use it on casinos themselves, don't be a fool.

I still believe that your dream can help you more than a seer, you can dream about a particular lottery number and if you risk it you can win, I have heard lots of things like this in my city, sometimes, it's the insanes that have the answers that we have been looking for, and it comes with a risk, that's if you will believe it or not, like I like saying that, nothing is risk free, if its too good its probably a lie.

There are stories of mad men in my city that have given lottery numbers to two people, and I am surprised why they believe the sick mad men, in the end they are right and this got them rich, I was not there though, I heard from the elders in my environment.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a generous gamblers on: February 04, 2024, 09:26:25 AM
Generosity with gambling money can also be look at as a waste of money, it's not easy to win in gambling, if you lose no one will help you, if been generosity with your money is what brings in more luck then those who gives won't end up going broke, there are many givers in this world that turned broke because they gave away their money easily, and when all that is done no one decided to help them back.

I am not advising you to be a stone hearted person, but be careful how to give up money, it looks good and probably feels good when you help others but don't forget that too much of helping others can bring you down easily, now in gambling, if you win money you don't have to give half of your money away, I don't care how big the money can be, maybe that's the best shot you have in changing the story of not just you but your whole family? Be wise.

When you win, it's not the end for your gambling activities, you can throw most of the money you won in a bank account, and focus of your small risks in gambling, there are days that I don't do gambling because I can't afford it, and if there is some money that I won I can take few percentage from that and risk it in gambling again.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You must have a source on: February 03, 2024, 11:23:27 AM
Crypto is a four years cycle thing, can you survive for the next four years while investing in Bitcoin? Ask yourself this question first before doing anything, because most people that started investing ends up getting tired of the whole thing, the motivation they had at the beginning is not there anymore, and that's because their preparation sucks from the beginning.

I started with no job too but those days were better, there was paying airdrops and free faucets on the internet, I started this crypto investment with nothing and I made some money from airdrops that's how I ended up buying my first Bitcoin, today things are too uncertain, even airdrops today don't always pay, testnets are good, running nodes are nice but not all of them pays.

So yeah, it's not a bad idea to advice people about how important source of income is while they are planning to start investing in Bitcoin, you would probably get nowhere if you don't have a source of income and still proceed, think about your survival on the long run first.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investment in gambling on: February 03, 2024, 10:24:27 AM
What are you investing money on?

Assuming someone who takes high risk on Bitcoin with no proper investigation, they will end up buying at a wrong time, the top, but mind you, they have something worthy, only their ROI will take a very longer time to get back, but the value of the asset remains. This is the result of a careless investment on Bitcoin but thankfully Bitcoin is Bitcoin, something far more reliable than anything.

You can't do the same with other assets and mind you, gambling has nothing to do with investing, what are you investing into here? Unless you buy stock of the casino, that's the only reasonable way to invest in gambling, but visiting a casino with the hope of making more money is too unrealistic, that's why you need to wake the hell up, what you have left is you getting lucky, if not, you will lose everything, it's that obvious.

All those who expect so much in gambling, you all have my respect, I don't know where your confidence is coming from, the fairness meaning of gambling is enough to know where it's all going, it's crazy that some people do this with so much passion like they are building a new flying car or new innovation.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What remarkable thing have you achieved with the money you won from gambling? on: February 03, 2024, 09:31:51 AM
I have won some few times in gambling since 2022 and this have helped my crypto portfolio even more, I was able to buy some risk assets and hold for the coming bull market, and till today I still keep gambling when I can afford it, the winning isn't that much but I am comfortable with what I am risking on gambling.

I don't hope for a big win in gambling because that will probably demand for more money, like some members use to say that to win a significant amount of money from gambling you will need to risk a lot of money.

You get what you deserve in gambling, if you are too greedy you can become a massive winner if you get lucky, but if you risk too small amount your lucky days ain't going to be that huge, which I still consider to be the safest option between the two, it's only those who think about the "if they win " always risk a lot of money on gambling, I think about my losses too that's why I risk small amount.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you invest on this kind of offer? on: February 03, 2024, 08:58:48 AM
What you plan to do only makes sense if you want to invest in gold or Bitcoin, but using this with gambling isn't safe to begin with, it's too risky, and mind you I want you to erase this idea that gambling has anything to do with investments, gambling is not an investment, it's a way of cheating a casino with luck and casinos understand that you ain't going to get lucky all the time, this is their own bet and that's why they are more richer.

If you want a guaranteed way of making money using debt gambling isn't one of them, find other things you can take risks on, gambling is way too risky to be using loan or borrowing funds for, you will lose everything and you will end up in huge debt.

A plus, if you don't have your own money try to look for a job first, you should be using your hard earned money in gambling, not taking loan, start using this rules that if it's not your money you aren't going to gamble, until you get paid from your business or job.
338  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BINANCE AS HOLDER on: February 01, 2024, 07:39:43 AM
I've been on the forum for many months now and I leave that BTC address field empty, it's not a must to insert your BTC address, and also that address from Binanace exchange that you are talking about isn't really yours, it belongs to Binance exchange.

You have no control over that Bitcoin address so don't use it, instead create your own Bitcoin wallet, you can go for Electrum wallet and keep your recovery seed safe, don't repeat mistakes that many people have made in the past, mind you, Binance exchange have changed their wallet address twice in the last two years, just so you know, the address can be different when next you visit the exchange.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: January 31, 2024, 01:25:39 PM
In gambling space nobody really knows anything, everybody is just trying their best, some people are even ripping people off, pretending to know what an outcome of a match will be and the funny part here is sometimes it works in their favour and they will gain the confidence of people around them, there is no such thing as a professional gambler, all you have to deal with is cutting your losses short until you get lucky, if you don't know how to do this you are wasting your time.

Avoid people who thinks they know the future, no one does for real, face your little risks and use your luck wisely, gambling is never a solution to your problems, it's either entertainment for you or a mood ruiner, those who want gambling for fun of it risks so less to none and those who want to make higher amount risks a lot of money, in the end who is the wisest?
340  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there anything else like bitcoin? on: January 31, 2024, 12:16:40 PM
Let's say you get your hands on Bitcoin in 2010, I strongly believe that you would have sold everything in 2012 or max 2015, everyone is screaming about adoption bitcoin at earlier stages, as if they don't have problems that's needed to be fixed, Ninety nine percent of early adopters would have sold and take profits, like some developers of new projects today that mined thousands of Bitcoin, they gave out to some friends and they sold the remaining, this is not weird to me, it's normal, we are human after all.

There are thousands of Crypto projects today, I am just wondering why they haven't been anyone that has done better than Bitcoin still, so why should we bother about something better than Bitcoin when its proven that nothing does it better? Or are you one of those people who sees Bitcoin as an overpriced asset?

What will you do if you don't buy today and in future Bitcoin is selling for 500k? Still looking for something better and it never come, stop looking bro, there is still enough time right now.
