About 19 hours till block 320,000 is mined.
Get involved Smiley

ANN here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=778322

19 hours till we hit block 320,000.

Importance of that?
Well, that is the target block at which point MonetaryUnit reaches it's maximum block reward of 40 MUE every block (40 seconds).
This is a process that has taken nearly 5 months.
Bear in mind, at launch, block reward was 0.025 MUE per block!! (I can hear the sighs of those early miners!)

Also, it is the block at which point we will be increasing our www.BlockOLottO.com MUE reward to 100,000 MUE per week.
The thread is here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=871903

So yeah, MonetaryUnit is a niche coin, and the announcement wasn't all fanfare and flags, but things have gone better than I had hoped, and I look forward to carrying on supporting this project in any way I can.

Here's to the future  Grin

HELLO MUE COMMUNITY
The super reward block of this week will be “the block n° 320000
the block reward will increase to 40MUE per block!!!
We also increased the value of the reward to an amazing 100.000 MUE
good luck miners!!
thank you for being in MUE community

First - make giveaway to bring people and popularity - then will come miners..
I agree, and from day 1 that is what we have been doing.
If you check out our ANN thread you will see plenty of give-aways, faucets and promotions.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=778322
I think the next few weeks will see an increase in attention for MonetaryUnit...now is the time to buy Smiley

ohh sorry.. I didn't read this thread.. it look very nice Smiley
but one more thing - be careful with miners if you have just small exchanges.. dump can be dangerous..
Hi, thanks for the feedback, hopefully in time MUE will be added to larger exchanges.
However, without buy support, dumping achieves little as there is not the market demand.
With market demand brings the miners, which in turn brings the addition to larger exchanges, so these things tend to work themselves out.

Please note the Cryptex.biz exchange is closing.
Notice is here https://cryptex.biz/post/cryptex-closed-2
Please withdraw your funds, including obviously any MUE you may have there.

thanks for the hint. just curious, but do they give the free coins back?

Have contacted them, just awaiting a response.  Will update when I hear back.
I've had a response from Cryptex.  Hopefully once the mountain of admin stuff they will have to clear up is sorted we can box this off.
They always struck me as a decent bunch, so give them time and I'm sure they will get this sorted for the MUE community.
They have given me an ETA of approx. 7-10 days

We are now listed on Cryptopia Smiley
It's a new site which looks to offer something quite unique.
An exchange, mining pool & market place.  I think the site looks great, so please offer them some support and check it out.

now MUE is #2 on voting list .
I have told you not to deposite too early Angry
The C-CEX vote?
Yeah a bit annoying, but then I was asleep in bed where I should be at that time Smiley
I was all out of BTC anyway.  You could have helped of course Wink
I was helping you before you desposited BTC ,but sadly ,you didn't adopt my advice.
It wouldn't have made any difference.
Smileycoin clearly wanted to win and made sure of it.
I think you give your "strategy" a little too much weight, like no one else would think of it.
I spent what BTC I had, and clearly others helped too with some free votes and BTC too.
There's next time....and you can help by using your free vote and BTC Smiley
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BitcoinPrizeDraw.com - 1.2 BTC in prizes to win - 200 ticket limit - OPEN NOW on: December 14, 2014, 08:23:33 AM
Hi, there is a low sell order on AskCoin at the moment;
https://askcoin.net/trading/MUE/BTC
I would prefer sales go through exchanges to help with volume and market cap.

I would prefer to buy them if you confirm here that the draw is open now and it will be done 2 weeks after for sure, as you haven't yet clarified whether the 2nd draw is live or not...
We'll announce when the next draw is live.
For now we have some admin tidying up to do.

Anyone who entered the draw please contact The_Prof with your confirmed MUE wallet address for your 50% refund.
I think we'll offer this refund until 20th December which is plenty of time for people to get in touch.

There will be another draw, but give us a few weeks to get things organised.

Hi, sorry to hear you are closing.
It's an incredibly competitive market and requires a huge investment just for security let alone promotion.
I'm sure you will be able to go on and be a successful trader based on your experience there.

Could you please transfer back the 5 million? or so MonetaryUnit so we can continue to distribute the coins.
Wallet address is 7JywkXZQerNydh8Lws6tW9BMXkQrShgNGf
Many thanks
I wish you the best for the future

Well, you don't get if you don't ask right?
I think if you buy tickets for the next draw, the potential reward would be helping to get the draw to the max of 200 tickets, giving maximum prize fund.  Benefits all right?
Lets see how things progress, giving you free tickets doesn't sit right with me, however I'm sure we can work something out in the future Smiley

Lolz, I only asked it based on curiosity... I don't want any free tickets, just asked whether I will get any reward or not for doing such activity... Else, you know that's human nature... Tongue

Thanks though, I will try my level best to promote it... Smiley

Please update when you will be starting your next draw? Also, please update your OP too regarding the future draw's dates... Smiley
Yeah, that's cool, thanks for the interest, any and all help appreciated Smiley
Will definitely shout loud and clear about the next draw when details are available.

Believe me I believed in you guys from day 1. I promoted the give away on Twitter, Facebook, BCT. Any place I could find. Thank you very much!
Not at all, thank you !
Here's to a bigger, better draw next time! Smiley

Tickets was cheap when I bought mine. I expect them to rise greatly in the coming weeks. The words getting out about MUE's 2 lotteries. More people are getting involved in mining as well.

Can you please let me know where did you buy them and at how much sats? Also, please let me know that did you get all of your MUEs once in for all or you bought them in parts from different places/exchanges?

@Mue,
Can I directly buy MUEs from you here at the average price going on at your recommended exchanges?

That would be great, thank you.
We did have a proof of action campaign due to start last Monday, but the supplier let us down Sad
Any help will be appreciated though.
The next draw, whether or not it is the last one or not, is gonna be BIG! Smiley

Mind me asking for a few free tickets for promoting this? Don't think I'm being selfish, it's just a thought that came into my mind and I thought to ask for it, as who doesn't love rewards? Tongue

I have checked there but the volume ain't much at any of these exchanges as I think that nobody's much aware of such draws going on... I will try to promote it as much as I can... Smiley

All prizes sent to the winners BTC addresses from the prize fund wallet.
Details below.
These prizes are based on 50% of the total assuming we had sold all 200 tickets as per the OP.
We will however refund 50% of the MUE everyone has invested to buy tickets.
Give The_Prof a few days to go through this and process as it is a bit of a faff, and I kind of dropped it on him at the last minute!!

Thanks everyone who supported this draw, and a sincere congratulations to all the winners.

Yeah, I am definitely going to hold at least one more draw.
Hopefully the next one will attract the full 200 tickets to make it even more interesting Smiley
Sorry you missed out this time, that said, the MUE price is very low at the moment, so a perfect time to buy.....

You talking about BuyMUE.com? It costs nearly 500 sats per coin... So it will cost me 0.2 to buy 4k coins?
No! Smiley
