Evo i forum Welcome Offer (WO) je napravljen, sada samo čekam devove da se mrdnu više i da se to sve implementira Cheesy

Link: https://www.figma.com/file/9HkWZISALdeuHHrspP8zrf/Q2-2023-Coinslotty-Forum-Welcome-Offer

Thank you all for the support!

I am interested in whether you have introduced any restrictions and how you manage these withdrawal/high-fee things in general.

This issue was dealt in two ways.

The expense from our side (e.g. when a player requests a withdrawal) will stay as is, we will just "go with it" for now, and if the player requests BTC, he will get BTC. As a bitcoin casino we're already used to weekly/monthly fluctuations. The market will hopefully stabilize.

The expense from the player side is what worries us the most, one forum user reported last week that for a $10 deposit he had to pay $8 in fees, which just doesn't make sense. After that he tried out DOGE and paid a couple cents - this brought me to the idea of having a pop-up and e-mail notification to our users in times like these. Just something simple like "hey, look, BTC and ETH are a bit funky right now, try our other options for a cheaper transfer".

So, in other words, for the expenses from our side it's business as usual and we're absorbing the difference/fluctuation, while for the player's side we're actively listening and are finding solutions that can help until the market stabilizes.

Meanwhile I wanted to share the new Forum Welcome Offer design and thank @Jayce for another great project. The WO is about to be implemented.

Additionally, @mv1986 helped us with the German translation with which I'm really happy with.

If there are any native portuguese speakers just ping me and let's collab Smiley

@SirJohnVonSlotty, every time I read your nickname, I wonder what the thought process or reasons were that made you came up with that one? Wink It's intriguing, I am a bit jealous!

SirJohn is how you actually pronounce my name, I'm Croatian so we have weird letters and it's hard to figure it out without adding some examples, and the easiest way to introduce myself and the pronunciation of my name is to tell people to imagine a British knight called Sir John, and then remove the space in-between and just say "srjohn" - and bam, there it is Cheesy

The Von came from my surname, because the surname (when applying the same logic) would then be pronounced as VonIch in english (ich like itch in english, not ich like "me" in german).

After that, every time I would take up a project that would require nicknames, I would name myself SirJohnVon[insert-project-name]

Right now I'm working on this project, so naturally it ended up as SirJohnVonSlotty Grin

Not important sice we would never send single transactions. Chances are minimal that we will do anything but weekly payments for whole campaign but we wanted to collect data to see our options in case things get worse. Imagine 5 people prefer weekly payments and 5 monthly. That saves us tx money for sure and keeps everyone happy.

If you insist on doing data to the byte than you have to account for actual situation. Our wallet is multisig, means longer addy means more bytes. We have 2 UTXO for 3 months of funds but we will use coin control and join them on some week that fees are low, even though we would prefer to do it this week and get it over with. This actually helps prove your point but as I said not that important since we are never gonna use single transactions.

We gave it for a vote thinking what we would have preferred in situation like this. For instance I know I would choose monthly payments to minimize number of UTXOs on my personal wallet. 3 months of weekly payments gives you 12 inputs. While montly payments give you just 3.

Wow, I didn't feel like you would deem this an attack, not even for a second. You don't need to "prove my point" because that is not what I wanted to achieve. I did the maths to provide a practical example with good intentions.

But hey, always needs some talk before you know how the real Trofo works! I am ok with that.

And of course I voted for full flexibility as I am the last who wants the worst. Weird that you perceive it that way.

I went through both your initial statement and Trofo's reply, and I don't see it as an attack from his side, I think you just misunderstood his reply Smiley I'm chatting with him a lot and sometimes he's short on words when he's typing over his phone, and simple sentences can be misunderstood easily.

I just want to make sure that everyone here knows that we will find a solution to this and that I fully trust Trofo and Frka with the deal, no one is here to argue or create some type of drama out of this, we just want to launch our first signature campaign with as less stress as possible.

325  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: May 11, 2023, 05:43:28 AM
Betcrypto.cr we have the same providers and we are 100% KYC free and available worldwide

I'm just looking at your site and I see that it's a basic WordPress installation with no gameplay functionality, I can't even enter lobbies or launch demo games. Is the casino on a subdomain or do you act as an affiliate?
326  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: May 10, 2023, 08:43:13 AM
Maybe you do not know the meaning of alternative.

I'm fully aware of the definition, but you can't say that any word processor is a Microsoft Word alternative (e.g. Notepad), because it isn't. You have to find something that scratches the same itch, like Open Office.

Similar in this case, Stake has a faster platform, triple the amount of games, several verticals that we don't have (forum, sportsbook, esports etc) and so on, so I kinda don't feel comfortable in saying that we're "an alternative", but it's definitely flattering and I hope that we'll be a worthy alternative in a couple of years Smiley
327  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: May 10, 2023, 07:46:11 AM
Stake is a good casino but we have other alternative and you can search for them on the forum. Coinslotty is one of my favorites and that's not because I'm promoting it. It has no negative rating from its customer and they're active on the forum.

We are still far from being a "stake alternative" but thank you for the kind words Cheesy
328  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: May 09, 2023, 07:17:55 AM
In this case it's obvious that Coinplay doesn't want to allocate resources to resolve this, so everything that you've said is on point, except this:

Why would you defend the casino?  And yes, that is what you're doing.

I would say that she's defending the general process on how we treat scam accusations, not the casino itself. It's good to talk these things trough and have different opinions, it will help with other scam accusations later on.

I completely forgot about ARM and its uses in server settings, do you have any comparisons available when compared with Xeon's and AMD solutions?
330  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: May 08, 2023, 08:30:47 AM
A players balance belongs to the player.

To a legit player that didn't trigger the abuser matrix, yes.

But, if they triggered the abuser matrix, the balance is dissected, and whatever was the casinos money before, is back to being casinos money.

You have to understand that there are millions of forums, scripts and subs dedicated to scamming operators, who are bombarded with them on a daily basis, and dealing with each and every individual case takes resources, and you're either large enough to have those resources, or you go through the route of ignoring them.

You mean if they really wanted to steal players money why did they only steal some and not all of it?

Because that's what scam casinos do.  It's called a freeroll.

Technically, the casino didn't earn any money on this if it was a full refund (house edge/vig included), the total revenue on that player account are now zero.

Your list should read:

#1. Coinplay and player had a dispute of players balance.
#2. Coinplay and player agree to use third party.
#3. Third party rules against Coinplay.
#4. Coinplay still doesn't pay player and ghosts the forum.

This is true. However, I think that there's more to this case then we see here, but there's no way in finding out that info without a Coinplay representative that would be more active than the current one, so we're just wasting our time arguing.

You can now add the bot on group chats. Just add the bot and run /start once. As usual, you can always get the menu by sending /menu.

Thanks for adding this feature! I'm just testing it out for our terms, including coinslotty, will report back soon Smiley

Edit: works like a charm, good job ^^
333  Other / Meta / Re: [TELEGRAM] Yet Another BitcoinTalk Notification BOT (merits, mentions, topics,+) on: May 07, 2023, 08:51:59 AM
It should be done this week! I assume normal mentions (i.e @SirJohnVonSlotty) and merits aren't the focus on your group? I was thinking about disabling them and allowing group admins to add tracked topics and phrases, what do you think? Feel free to suggest other stuff you need.

Ah, great! No no, just keyword tracking Smiley e.g. Coinslotty, coinslotty.com. Thank you!
334  Economy / Gambling / Re: Can we trust 3rd party Slot providers? on: May 06, 2023, 07:14:25 PM
This thread has become a bit of a spam fest, with signature quota posts, those randomly written ones, being thrown left and right.

I just want to clear up some things around the industry and how the regulations work.

#1. A licensed operator (online casino) is made out of several puzzle pieces, one of them are games that are served by the game provider. Operators mostly don't have their own games, it's to complicated to manage, you rather get a gaming provider that is experienced.
#2. The better the license, the more game providers the casino can have. An MGA licensed casino like Betsafe will have 5000+ games available, while a Curacao licensed casino like Coinslotty will only have couple thousand.
#3. Reputable gaming providers can be trusted, I'm talking here about publicly trading companies, Evolution, Tiger, the recently acquired NetEnt, as well as those that are still privately owned, but regulated. It's in no ones interest, business wise, to have a broken slot provider or one that scams players.
#4. Regulators and bodies that test slot machines within the industry, besides the Technical Services Bureau, are the following:

And to close up, slot machines aren't here to give each of the players an additional $100 and a kiss on the forehead, they are entertainment games of chance, you're paying for the experience and the probability of winning big, but you shouldn't gamble what you can't afford to lose.

335  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: May 06, 2023, 07:02:05 PM
Is Stake the leading crypto casino because they ignore its victims?

What did Stake different compared to Bitcasino and Sportsbet to become the leading crypto currency casino?

It's a bit hard to believe your claim after looking at your trust score and the comments others have left there, but I'm still curious - what happened?
336  Economy / Services / Re: Article writing 2$/100 words - Fast Delivery/Quality Writing/SEO friendly on: May 06, 2023, 03:44:06 PM
Instead of just randomly bumping the thread it would be good if you could provide some of your recent examples in those bumps Smiley

How are you with hardware articles like these: Steam Deck SSD
Or with general iGaming content, press releases?

Hoping to see the group thing work in the near future Smiley

Thanks for the hint, I removed Paxful.

Thanks to Dkbit for the ping, Stakefast if you want to connect with our affiliate team just let me know and I can make it happen Smiley We now hired a few managers that took some weight off my shoulders and the guys are great.
