322  Economy / Gambling discussion / [Discus] Social Tournaments - Free tournaments from Pragmatic Play on: January 20, 2024, 11:47:07 PM
Hi guys

Do you know about Social Tournaments? I found out about 2 weeks ago from my friend. On this site there are lots of slot machine tournaments to compete for prizes, so far I haven't won a single prize but my friend said he has made withdrawals 5 times from this site.

On this site there are lots of tournaments and there are always new tournaments every hour. The prizes are not big, but we can join for free. All tournaments are slot machines from pragmatic play providers. Have you ever played here? and win prizes? Or do you think this is just a waste of time?

~snip~

Gan dikasi paragrap lah, biar enak dibaca  Cheesy

Wah.

Thanks agan PytagoraZ telah UP kembali utas lama tentang sejarah forum SFI.
~cut~

We are called humans because we have human nature. It's not easy to be in Leo's position, and one day we will also be in his position. Remember friends, we don't live forever. There is a lot of hatred in this world, but in certain conditions we need to prioritize humanity over ego and hatred.

Maybe one day I will make the same thread as Leo, and I'm sure I will miss you all, miss the friendship and enmity that exists here.

328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it bother you when dealers change during play? on: January 20, 2024, 12:39:49 AM
I tried some live blackjack recently and on certain providers for tables like Evolution it kinda bothered me how often dealers would change.
Just when you get used to the flow a dealer has, how they announce cards and bet times, they would change. I have no idea based on what principle dealers will go sit on another table, but it doesn't seem very standard.
I'd certainly prefer the dealers I've come to like to stay a bit longer but I also have to say that all the dealers are doing a good job so in the end the game still continues to run smoothly.

Oftentimes when dealers change in a table I see most people leave the table. Perhaps that's because so many people think that their luck is somehow associated with the dealer. And people leaving the table is another annoying thing because times can completely change from what you had gotten used to.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you mind when dealers in your table change? Or does it not bother you at all?

To be honest, I don't like changing dealers when playing blackjack in a live casino. Often I feel that if there is a change of dealer then if previously I often got good cards then after that my cards became bad. I usually leave the game or lower the bet to find out whether I am still dealt good cards or not
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Satoshi Nakamoto remove the 21 million BTC limit? on: January 20, 2024, 12:27:29 AM
Speaking in Davos on Wednesday, JPMorgan CEO and also a well-known bitcoin critic Jamie Dimon made a suggestion that Satoshi Nakamoto might lift the limit on the number of bitcoins, which as we know is 21 million BTC. How would you comment on such a statement?

Referring to the limited supply of Bitcoin, which is to mirror the properties of gold, Dimon said he doubted the finality of the 21 million Bitcoin supply maximum, saying: "I think there's a good chance, when we get to that 20 million bitcoins...Satashi [sic] is going to come on there, laugh hysterically, go quiet, and all Bitcoins [are] going to be erased. How the hell [do] you know it’s going to stop at 21?"

I don't know about the code behind bitcoin but 21 million is what everyone believes to this day. If bitcoin exceeds 21 million then trust in bitcoin will collapse overnight and bitcoin will be considered a scam
330  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / [UNLOCK] Kilas Balik Sejarah SF Indonesia V.2.0 on: January 20, 2024, 12:17:36 AM

Sejarah Sub Forum Indonesian

Quote from: PresidenSoekarno
Jangan sekali-kali melupakan sejarah

1. Lahirnya Board Local Indonesian:

20 August 2014 jam 09:11:45 PM
Salah satu member indonesia membuat Topic di Meta dengan judul "Suggestion: Local > Bahasa Indonesia".
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=749134.0 By arieq

Selang satu hari kemudian theymos menyetujui nya:

21 August 2014, 04:17:08 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=749134.msg8464069#msg8464069

21 August 2014, 07:55:30 AM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=749134.msg8465695#msg8465695

2. Pemilihan Moderator Indonesia

- minimal level member (kan ga lucu kalau moderator kita rank nya newbie)

note:

28 August, 2014, 02:32:59 PM
Dilakukan Polling beserta calon Kandidat Moderator

31 August , 2014, 05:14:56 PM
BitRentX terpilih menjadi Moderator Indonesia
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=760220.msg8612546#msg8612546

01 September , 2014, 01:28:10 AM
Setelah terpilih menjadi Moderator BitRentX Memposting tentang Peraturan SF Indonesia
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=764664.msg8617640#msg8617640

I'm sure no one likes being lied to, but for now I would be happy if it turned out you were lying.

I can only pray for your recovery and don't give up buddy, sometimes miracles come at the last moment and we are waiting for you to come back to the forum someday.

As far as I know, humans are born to share with others and that's something you often do on forums. I hope you find goodness wherever you are. I don't know you personally but honestly the news from you makes me sad, this forum is like second family for me. Even though separation is something certain, I am always not ready to separate

335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] About Ledger and Transaction Speed Bitcoin on: January 15, 2024, 02:31:20 AM
In my opinion, bitcoin transactions are very slow, because they take around 10 minutes
Bitcoin transactions are happening almost instantly, but the 10 minutes that you were referring to is for the confirmation time [or rather the average time between each block]... Depending on their fees and the network load, it might take you longer before you get the first confirmation.

Can bitcoin transactions be accelerated in the future?
Regarding its speed, it can happen temporarily when there's a huge inflow of miners or rather hash rates, but because of the difficulty adjustments [every 2016 blocks (roughly 2 weeks)], it wouldn't last very long.

So theoretically bitcoin transactions can't be accelerated any more? When compared to altcoins that can be instant like doge or trx. Honestly, I don't know about the concept of pow, pos or anything else, I just hope that in the future bitcoin can be instant like altcoins.

I also read in the advertisement under the first forum post that bitcoin is still in beta status, does this mean that in the future bitcoin can be upgraded to be more sophisticated?

My previous Bitcoin address: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.msg33639468#msg33639468

Well, sure, this verifies but the purpose of staking an address is for proof of account ownership.  Since you've already staked and address, a signed message from that previously staked bitcoin address would first be required in order to verify you are who you claim to be.  How do we know you aren't using a purchased account or worse a hacked account or even worse still a purchased, hacked account?

I think you have to renounce the first bitcoin address by signing a message with it before we accept a second staked address or this whole thread is pointless.

Yes, that needs to be done so that this thread is not wasted. However, I'm willing to bet that the Husna QA account is still held by the original owner, because there has been no change in posting patterns, especially since Husna QA is the member who always posts in the bitcoin and wallet section on our local board, that's a difficult science, buying or hacking a Husan QA account was a nightmare because I would notice changes in posting patterns in just 3 days

Anyway, let's wait for a sign from the previous address

~cut~

I think bitcointalk will not die even if there are no more campaigns here. Bitcoin users are already ideological and this is where Bitcoin was born. Even though I haven't followed the campaign for a long time, the discussions on this forum are quite interesting, I'm still here and not yet interested in altcointalk. I don't know the future...

Apart from that, this forum is also not intended to make a profit from advertising so it doesn't matter if there is a slight decrease in traffic because maybe this forum is dedicated only to supporting bitcoin, not for profit like altcointalk
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ASK] About Ledger and Transaction Speed Bitcoin on: January 14, 2024, 12:28:45 PM
is it logical if the recording has reached 100 or 200 years, and how big will the bitcoin ledger data be in the future?
In 1956, a 3.75 MB hard drive (literally) weighed a ton. That shows it's pointless to worry about data storage limitations a century from now.

Yes, I understand what you mean. Maybe in the future 10 TB storage will become commonplace and not be a problem.

Honestly, I also want to provide feedback on other members' answers, but I still don't understand Bitcoin and blockchain. Lol.
But thank you all for your comments
