325  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm Newbie for mining. Need Help for on: March 22, 2015, 06:45:26 PM
Be very careful, you need a good plan otherwise you only waste your money. Today, mining is profitable only if you invest a lot, with gpu mining you can lately sell them as simple video cards, on the other hand ASIC has much cost/power efficiency (I'm talking about scrypt). For me, the best thing to do today is buy directly bitcoins, or instamine new altcoins at launch.

I just want mining Litecoin or Darkcoin first. Since bitcoin it's cost to much...beside i'm beginner.. i think litecoin or darkcoin it's better...

So litecoin and darkcoin can use GPU?

You can mine litecoin with GPU but it's better to use scrypt ASICs. Litecoin price dropped a while ago and never recovered. I would say Darkcoin it's better to mine right now.

CapsuleCorp, when will we receive our shares exactly?

Hi,
Shares will be distributed during the first 48 hours. Investors & bounty winners please note: you have to PM fabula (escrow) with your XDB address in order to receive your coins, please do it as soon you download your wallet. By March, 24 22:03 GMT+1 everyone will receive their shares.

Buy your last shares, time is running out! Wink

Hi,
I ask dev team to have max 48 hours time to distribute all XDB to investors, due to the large amount of transactions so far (40).
Anyway, will start sending XDB right after launch, when dev's send me the ICO amount and first investors will write me back their XDB address.

Thanks, everything's clear now. Waiting for launch.
327  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 22, 2015, 02:11:58 PM
I wouldn't choose any of these. Gold goes down and I predict that it will go even lower. Bitcoins are not stable and who knows what will be later. If we are talking in depositing in some kind of materials for some years I would prefer diamonds. I don't say that their value won't fall, but I'm sure that they won't fall as fast as gold and bitcoins.

You need to look at the big picture. I would say 50% gold and 50% bitcoins. In 10 years, that 50% in bitcoins will worth A LOT OF MONEY, because of mining diff and distribution/adoption.

329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happens if you sell large amounts of bitcoisn through cash deposits? on: March 22, 2015, 01:41:35 PM
Depens on where you live and laws. There was a site maybe called Bitlegal, with a map showing which countries are friendly with bitcoin or not, but I can't find it now.

Yeah but only if

1) your miner has a decent value
2) it won't burn before you sell it

Also, free electricity is almost impossible to find :\
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XDB]DragonSphere [X11][LAUNCH 22/03][TRIBUTE COIN][BOUNTY][EXCHANGE READY] on: March 22, 2015, 12:29:06 AM

I think after a coin hit an exchanger there are 2 moments when it's a good moment to buy it, or just in the right moment when it hit the market, and people start to dump to exit and sell it at the ICO price, or even a bit lower

Selling at ICO price or lower is totally no sense. BTW if you're a DB fan like me you should support this coin instead of selling. The seven spheres hidden should be much more valuable than 100 XDB bounties on twitter, am I right?

Pump-Dump who care?
Like XDB and that's enough.

+1

He will never make ROI with cheap ASIC machines, it's not 2012 anymore.
334  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: mini setup (not alot of money to plunge into it) on: March 21, 2015, 04:13:57 PM
Instead of mining, you could invest some money buying bitcoins and trade them with altcoins for a small profit, playing with pump and dumps, or simply stash them until price skyrockets.

We haven't decided a limit for the bounties, neither a minimum nor a maximum, so we are going to post as many images as we can till the release.
Then we'll be ready to start the big bounty with the seven balls hidden in all the forum, after the ICO, we'll see how many coins are left for the bounties and we'll decide how many XDB give to who finds the balls.

In the meantime I also want to mine this, which pool should I choose?
336  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: help on: March 21, 2015, 01:24:52 PM
Just study mining section on this forum. However, mining with a laptop is absolutely not recommended.

Since I have seen interest from users, I decided to buy more shares Smiley Hope escrow will do a good job.

Answer is simple, imho:

1) newbies
2) traders
3) whales
339  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Remote web access to a miner on: March 20, 2015, 05:21:57 PM
I am wondering if someone can point me to the appropriate resources to get more info.

Is there a way to access miners via the web remotely?

The reason I'm asking, is that I have access (via family connections) to an industrial facility with very cheap power because it is located adjacent to a local power plant. However the facility is very far form me - on the other continent. So I don't want to travel there more than I have to.

Secondly, my friend wants to do it too. Ideally, I would want him to have access to his own miners.

Thanks

Maybe a silly question but...does this facility have internet connection? If yes, VPN would be a great choice. If you're not sure how to use it you can grab software like TeamViewer, it's very easy to install and use. Use a strong password as already recommended.
340  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Help me please. on: March 19, 2015, 10:31:47 PM
My advice: just buy bitcoins, every ASIC is useless once a new generation chip comes out. ROI is very hard to reach.
