The strongest psychological trick I know is to not check the price or read speculation threads. Hard to resist! One trick I suppose could work would be to script something to trade at a point you have decided well in advance and not check prices. I say script rather than set orders because I think it's reckless to keep funds on the exchange and no exchange does auto trade on recieve (why??) I don't care either way since I'm a bull long term and believe in bitcoin's success. I just like to play and learn the market a bit, why kick this habit when you're having so much fun? I keep most of my BTC by the way, I just play around with pocket money and made some profit along the way but not as much as others have though. I'd get too nervous and stressed out if I would gamble with most or all my BTC, and that's not good when you don't want your actions being controlled by your emotions. Mtgox still does it, although they have said that they would disable it.

Anyone know David Rothschild? If the Rothschilds get interested, they can call off the attack dogs. After all, they founded the whole concept of a medium of exchange with no intrinsic value.
Can't tell if serious..

Orders show up on the order book temporarily, while they're being filled. Nothing to see here.
How does this explain someone bidding $4 above the ask price, when there was a large volume available at that lower price? It's similar to a market order. I do the same sometimes during volatile times, just to make sure that my order gets filled up to my limit.

More "technical analysis" from a guy who hasn't made a single right call.. no thanks.
Why I don't agree with everything arepo says, he did say that we will fall far from $7 back in January 2012. And if you remember correctly, price went down to sub $4 then, before regaining strength a lot later. Ah, so he was right in 2012 once. A broken clock..

Oh no it dropped to over 105 from 266, after rising 1000%, and it bounced well......its all a storm in a teacup that will look like a blip on a curve in a years time
I advise you to read the OP another say 10 times. Let it sink in. Yeah, big diff is no Helicopter Ben Printing billions a day to bail out the companies. he is doing that for me! You repeat the same narrative I've seen over and over on this forum.
