321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: October 21, 2012, 09:11:06 AM
So, where's "the plunge", dear plungists?

Patience, it will come Wink
322  Economy / Securities / Re: GLBSE Payment Claims (Announce your payment here) on: October 20, 2012, 03:04:04 PM
Still haven't received a mail nor any coins. Anything I can do at this moment? Or should I just wait, like I've been doing for an eternity for my Bitcoinica funds? =/
323  Economy / Securities / Re: GLBSE Payment Claims (Announce your payment here) on: October 19, 2012, 07:29:16 PM
I haven't received a mail nor my coins, even though I submitted a claim as soon as the claim site went live. Anyone else with the same problem?
324  Economy / Speculation / Re: why is the price holding stable? on: October 19, 2012, 04:08:30 PM
maybe. Anyway, right now buying pressure prevails but is still low. We are constantly atacking thw 12$ resistance but with feeble success.
If you want to go deeper, Id say after the past month that gained momentum from some speculative believes/announcements, there is a natural disenchantment right now, still hopes are up for some short term exitements in the pipe line, like Kim Dotcom's 2 new services (that may accept bitcoin), ogrr.com+mmoexchange.net, reward halving, ASICs (for non logical reasons), torrentleech.org, poker sites catching up with infinity poker in the making, bitinstants debit card (where is that actually?), the first public bitcoin hedge fund coming up, reddit's bitcoin tip bot recently and many more...

Wow, Nice list. Bitcoin is going to be interesting ^_^
325  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin is slowing down ? on: October 18, 2012, 02:19:54 PM
average doubling time is now measured in months

what would you say, when the price will be double from today's ~12 ?

I have a feeling it should be at 20 by next summer,
but uncertainty about some kind of hostile legislation in the future
is stopping me from buying (more).

We had many months/years of high volatility. It's only natural it's followed with some stability. But volatility will return, it always does Wink
326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Most Bitcoins generated are immobile on: October 18, 2012, 02:17:07 PM
and what is the percentage of gold in actual circulation ?

Exactely, bitcoin is already valuable as a store of wealth, but it can be so much more.
327  Economy / Speculation / Re: These dips are being made by institutional investors. on: October 17, 2012, 08:21:38 AM
They are trying to get Bitcoin on the cheap. I would consider it a bullish sentiment more than anything.

You got your tinfoil hat on again, Atlas?
328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: October 16, 2012, 05:00:11 PM
Personally I don't mind if we stay around this price for the next 6 month. I think the Bitcoin economy could really benefit for a repeat 4-6 months of price stability before the next up move.

Not going to happen though Sad
329  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario on: October 15, 2012, 07:41:35 PM
while the dude gives interviews i have not revieved a single satoshi. Anyone else still waiting?

I haven't received anything yet either. GLBSE owes me about 10 BTC if I remember correctly, plus I'd like to start receiving dividends from the shares in companies I own. What a mess...
330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward trend imminent on: October 15, 2012, 07:30:56 AM

You mean that the price went up on low volume, right? So the trend is down?
331  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Giving Away a FREE 840Mh/s ModMiner Quad FPGA Miner Every Week in October! on: October 15, 2012, 07:21:22 AM
I'm in! Third time's the charm, right? Smiley
332  Economy / Speculation / Re: secret rocket? on: October 14, 2012, 08:03:13 PM
Just ignited.  So many people counted on a drop this Thursday and weekend - but there was no drop on Thursday and I bet that there will be no on the weekend - many bears will be buying.

Since according to you, the secret rocket has already ignited while it isn't going up much, what will happen once it runs out of fuel? Smiley
333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer - MtGoxUSD wall movement tracker on: October 14, 2012, 10:08:14 AM
It seems there is no plunge this weekend - are we going up the following week?
I hope so. Bought back now  Smiley
on MtGox?  I did not notice.

How would you notice him buying back? Unless he's a big player, you won't see much when someone buys back :p
334  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Nefario on: October 14, 2012, 12:12:54 AM
I still received nada Sad
335  Economy / Speculation / Re: secret rocket? on: October 13, 2012, 03:56:56 PM

Not this time - I tell you!

It has started - I know that forum registration stats is easy to manipulate - but it was a good indicator in the past and now it is shooting up.

Confirmation bias Wink
336  Economy / Speculation / Re: #1 most popular Bitcoin Price Forecasts (subscribe here: bitcoinbullbear.com) on: October 12, 2012, 06:37:17 PM
short term alert issued to subscribers
Hmm - alert issued and no price movement?

Doesn't have to happen instantly :p If it predicts a move correctly that happens tomorrow, it's just as useful. Maybe even more so, since investors have a longer time to react.
337  Economy / Speculation / Re: secret rocket? on: October 12, 2012, 11:21:36 AM
Just ignited.  So many people counted on a drop this Thursday and weekend - but there was no drop on Thursday and I bet that there will be no on the weekend - many bears will be buying.

Why were people expecting a drop on Thursday by the way?
338  Economy / Speculation / Re: secret rocket? on: October 12, 2012, 11:06:07 AM
Those secret rockets have been quite disappointing lately  Roll Eyes
339  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Why I should get a scammer tag. on: October 10, 2012, 11:29:35 PM
Commendable

Agreed. Let's hope this shitstorm gets solved in the best possible way by Nefario, so that the tags won't be necessary and so that the users are ultimately happy. It sounds like the OP made some bad decisions, but I don't believe it was his intend to defraud or harm anyone.
340  Economy / Securities / Re: Verifing account of GLBSE discussion on: October 10, 2012, 06:43:04 PM
I would consider meeting this criteria if nefario were to provide me with a HD photo of his passport, drivers licence, 2 utility bills and a picture of him holding a note saying "you must be fucking joking" and a hot chick doing "bunny ears" on him.

Haha, I thought something along those lines as well. Wink
