Congratulation bc1q2pr99p75skdzyqdg0hnpd7hf56tge6h9x4wyet for solving Block 721310 ! I watch'ed it live with cgminer, so I will put a screenshot later in here. and that's how it looks like when solo.ckpool.org finds a block:
I would really love to get this view, how do I setup this view? Is it a live feed of CKPool? I work from home and have over 4 monitors. I would love to setup one just with the overall CKPool live screen and if possible one for each miner or all my miners at once. You simply start cgminer pointed to the solopool with your btc-address, even without any miner connected. So you observe the pool using cgminer. Your messages will be the pool messages only then.

Hi. I've tried using both the . and then the _ and get same result. It still shows network as Dead for ckpool via port 3333. I've tried the other ports too per the CK Pool Instruction.
@HagssFIN
There are 2 common reasons for not being able to connect: 1. The most common one is that you have a typo in your bitcoin address, or added a space somewhere, like before the address. 2. You are in a part of the world where routing is blocked to the datacentre where the pool is hosted - this is unfortunately out of my control as I don't block anyone from mining there.you may try the passthrough then. stratum+tcp://rfpool.org:3334 It is still running with users on it, so I keep it alive. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5237323.msg54581374#msg54581374

the Raspi WH got just one processor, so you should run make without j-2. try it with make only.

HOLY SHIT!!!!! Just waking up and seeing that my GekkoScience Compac F USB stick farm just hit ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) The OMEN has 9 of these little Compac F guys running on it. HOLY SHIT!!!!!! CK thank you for running your pool. I need coffee!!! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thanks all! Wow congrats, that's crazy. You probably never expected hitting the lottery like that. If you don't mind me asking how long did you have that little stick set up running before you hit? Loves these stories glad that "little guys" still have a shot, albeit a very VERY small shot. Congrats! I have been running them for about 2-3 months and also have a few of the original new pacs that I've had for years. The Compac F's haven't really been out that long but I sure as hell am glad I purchased them! ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) it is realy nice that you are the one, I followed your journey in sidehacks thread. I got myself one running and write a review in german about that miner. It is absolut amazing. You got your ROI for sure. And the solo.ckpool proof to be stable also. But: thanks to the one who wrote the driver for the Ferrari, without him, it would not be possible.

place after the 38HRDQeecdfQnCyrnLEtKJGnEsrLG3XUCt.1 in one miner and 38HRDQeecdfQnCyrnLEtKJGnEsrLG3XUCt.2 in the other miner --> BTCADR.1 point and number but different numbers. by the way, did you have found a block? in the last time, whas what you?
yes, he was the last one who solved a block: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5237323.msg58974069#msg58974069

... @Sidehack: I will not buy a product anymore wich is not able to fullfill the BASIC task, mining on your own wallet.
Then you can't buy miners, they all run old versions of cgminer that core broke ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) That is true, but no excuse to anybody to do the same. Canaan is the one who will not break the license or the function. I have higher priorities at the moment (as I already mentioned) It's on the todo list, however,
Fine, and thank you again for doing it. Ranting about me not providing you with free software updates soon enough only makes me prioritise the change further down on the todo list. I don't make money out of any of this.
I do not demand or forcing you to do anything you don't want. You where the second main developer of cgminer and now you are the only one. I wrote allready that I am happy that you continue cgminer for the public. I never expected that you reduce the function of cgminer on purpose, and I still think that it was not that importend for you, and you want the version for sidehack out, so he can sell his product. you spend your time solo mining on a pool run by someone who has lost 5 blocks for their miners.
This is another topic wich should be discussed, but better in a sepperate thread and not in sidehacks mining hardware thread. To be blunt, it isn't an important change either, since it gives most people the completely wrong impression that solo mining to your own wallet is a good idea. It's not. It's a BAD idea. Solo mining to your own wallet has a MUCH higher risk of losing a block. You need a worldwide fast block distribution setup to reduce the probability of orphaned and stale blocks i.e. of losing your block if you ever find one (... that the pool you mine on also does not have a worldwide fast block distribution setup) ... and even your node on that pool increases that risk for miners on that pool who use your node ... and gives people a false impression that mining to your node is better for them, which it isn't since you don't have it setup to submit blocks with the work running through it.
I did not say that it is a good idea to solo mine, you often told the cons of doing so. But it is a huge differnce, having the choice to solo mine or not and instead getting forced to use a pool. This is not what bitcoin stands for. Sidehacks Ferrari is a perfect miner for solo mining, as you will never get a roi if you mine on a pool, doesen't matter if the energy is free and the pool fee is 0%. So having this functionality is vital for this product.

I'll look into solo working with 0.21 when I get to doing that - give it a little while ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) But no, it's far from ideal to use a version of bitcoin prior to 0.21, since when taproot activates next month, you must be running 0.21 or later. Hi Kano, could you give us an update? Not done yet. Working on pool code. Hi Kano, two month now, any update for the fix of cgminer? Nearly 3 month now, and no answer. If you don't want to finish your work, say so. @Sidehack: I will not buy a product anymore wich is not able to fullfill the BASIC task, mining on your own wallet. It ain't cgminer (or the various ripped off versions of it) that is 'broken' and needs 'fixing'. It is Core that broke solo mining and as Kano already pointed out, it's far from ideal to use a version of bitcoin prior to 0.21, since when taproot activates next month, you must be running 0.21 or later.Thank you for putting yourself in front of any critical question wich are addressed to Kano. I am not intersted in a discussion of any sort, is it good to solo mine, who got the longest ... and so on. First: Learn how cgminer works and what it does when it comunicate with the core software. second: core did not breake anything, core simply get rid of an unused value inside the gbt protocol. (Ask kano, he will confirm that) third: it was allready fixed as a comit on vh version of cgminer but not in kanos git version for sidehacks Ferrari Miner. My question to kano (and not you) is clear: are you willing to change cgminer to a full working Version (in this universe) or not, nothing more nothing less.

Trust Eintrag hinterlassen.
Fotos folgen noch.
