I also agree, there's loads of electric crap, but where's the hot chick pics??

Here is a close up, actually there is a hot girl with color tatoo, can you find it Wink

This is like where's Wally?! Grin
As the Swede I feel responsible for explaining this weird phenomena.
When Swedes graduate at third year of Gymnasium,
We celebrate that we now are unemployed and without a job by jumping on a big truck, half naked, spraying beer on each other and everything that moves while listening to loud music.
It is just a normal day in Sweden xD

Can't believe it took 100 pages!:

KnC and ORSoC will be sitting down after dinner hoping to see a discussion about today's open day events, but instead...Grin

That is one sexy pole! I knew that KnC wasn't a scam from the get-go, but somebody had to play Devil's advocate.
I can say that you were mentioned and the KnCMiner guys recognized that you serve a useful purpose and that your service is needed in this community and they wanted to thank you for it.
Without you, we would be like a flock of sheep without a Sheppard xD
In all seriousness they recognized that what you do is healthy and needed. They didn't seem to have taken it personally.

The distinction extends to all derivative words. North Americans use authorized, authorizing, authorizes, and authorization, while English speakers from outside the U.S. and Canada use authorised, authorising, authorises, and authorisation.
Both American and English spelling is taught it Swedish schools it mostly depends on what teacher you have Smiley

Yup, if you've been following and find the guys who have gone in persons' opinions helpful; show them some gratitude for taking the time out of the day and drop them a thank-you either here, the open-day thread, or by PM.

Especially Daggeteo, who as we speak is writing up the answers to the question list; practically a book in itself...Wink

Obviously this has been a massive help, and we still have Monday!!
There were several people who recorded both video and audio I am sure it will be up soon Smiley
I just sat and listened and asked questions xD
Didn't think of bringing the actual content to the community good other people thought of it.

I personally want to thank you for attending, terra.

One quick question: Did Andreas Kennemar seem to have a command of the English language?

Thank you, in advance.
No problem ^^
Everyone could speak English fluently some with more and less Swedish dialect then others. All communication was clear and understandable.

Hi folks,
I feel that the community is waiting to hear back from the Open day event. Me and my associate attended. We put forward most if not all the questions that I have received (quite a few). It will take me some time to write all the answers down, hopefully I'll be done by tomorrow afternoon.

It has been said already by others who attended in this thread, but I'll reiterate what they stated. This endeavor seems legit. For the moment that is all I'll say. Answers to the questions will be posted as well as a few pictures soon(hopefully tomorrow afternoon).

When did they say it would be actually shipping?   Which model is shipping first and did they have a prototype for you?

Thanks,
-D

September and the FPGA.

So they are shipping the FPGA/Mars unit.

No. The prototype was the FPGA in answer to his Q, but that prob didn't read write, so I edited the og answer.

I think you saw how I answered first and replied too fast for me to have changed it in time...
They are not shipping the Mars/FPGA.
They will not be making any prototype they will go straight into production.
They will be shipping in September and they are currently confident and on target to meet that deadline.

I visited KnCMiners HQ today, it was the main office in stockholm for OrSoc.
I have to say that they were very nice and answered any questions we had.
They acted very professional and seemed like a legitimate business.
Several people documented both with video and audio so the session should soon be up online and you can make your own conclusions.
I just want to say thank you KnCMiner for a great time Smiley
//DeaDTerra

Spot on, but keep it coming, more details please...anything on timescales of milestones?

Was there a Gantt chart shown of what they expect to have done, and by when??

Also 'nice' is such a plain, non-expressive word, you can do better than this! Tongue
heheh xD
As I said everything was recorded and I think video makes a better media then my words.
They said that basically the design and all of that with the chip was done and that the backend work at the fab would begin this week.
They were on time and believed strongly that they will be able to meet their goal of September.
That's true, okay they seemed very genuine, it seemed like they had done these type of operation before or at least at this scale.
They could answer any questions we had and also showed us some of the FPGA/ASICs that ORSoC had designed previously, let's just say they were a lot more complicated then just calculating some hashes xD

Hi guys sorry for all the delays.
I have been busy.
I will aim to send out all the orders this week.

Currently the system does not work properly and therefor do not send out confirmaiton emails. Instead I manually have to confirm the orders.

I'd imagine many would be happy to participate on trust so long as there is the balance of regular status/strategy/forecast reporting and an occassional 3rd party audit of the fund(s). Perhaps even a fund charter, governance and voter rights.

Would you consider such structures and protocols?
Yes I have always and will always support transparency and listening to the investors voices.
The problem is how to set it up.

Can happily confirm receipt of payment.

Clearly DT has shown much patience, integrity and honesty in his management of this fund. All credit to him.

I'd be willing to consider putting my fund "profits" into another DT managed/controlled fund.

Send details.

I believe it's full.  I missed out too  Grin
I do not have another investment fund but I will post here if I need capital for some private funded projects.
I am looking into creating a private investment group,
I want to find a format where I can let people invest with me without having any legal liability.
I was thinking some kind of gpg signed investment fund where you invest your Bitcoin for a minimum of half a year and you can't withdraw without notice, that way I don't have to keep a withdraw buffer.
A small core group of investors who trust me is probably the best way to go.
If anyone have a suggestion of a format for this then please do comment Smiley
//DeaDTerra

BitFunder does have the ability to list private assets. Maybe Ukto could take this a step further and make sure trades don't report to bots or otherwise show up. It's also possible that an existing exchange could create a private duplicate of itself (maybe on the Tor network, like SR or such, dunno if that's hard to use).
I don't want to be anonymous or under ground per say.
I just don't want to be legally liable.
I have proven myself enough, pure trust should be enough for anyone who would want to join this investment club, no legal contracts or such just trust Smiley
Though I think that might be hard to achieve in practice.

Methinks DeaDTerra is occupied with some other business for now:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=210933.0

That is indeed true Smiley
Give me one or two more days and all the packages will be shipped.
I am currently looking into how to ship to the non EU customers and it is sad to say that it might be to much work to do so and that I might have to refund you guys.
As there are tons of manual paperwork to be done for the customs and for the shippment of a few coins it is not really worth my time.

is all of this officially closed or are things like giga & co considered pending ?
Some things are still pending, of which will slowly stack up for one more payout, but the fund can basically be considered closed.
As no significant sum will probably be recovered (I will ofc pay out whatever we get in beyond this point but it will probably only be a small sum).
