Yeah, that was the problem. As I said before, that's more like speculating, I also have done this kind many times. A few scenarios may happen.

If we are regular miners.
That will be troubled us with an electricity bill while we were waiting for this coin listed in the market (if this new coin hasn't listed on the market). Even after coin listed on the market, coin price will determine that you can handle electricity bill or not, lol. 

If we are irregular miners.
Electricity bill isn't trouble, profit or lose we will keep going, and many things. Most of the experienced miner do that. But they do deep research before.

Doing mining with a laptop is not recommended, but you can try it at your own risk.

Sound like a power issue, maybe power scheme that causing your problem. Wattage issue also possible, remembering with three cards your rig running smoothly (Although, while your rig idles your PSU can handle all of your cards). May you need to add additional PSU for the fourth card, just for making sure.

So, what the benefit of mining new-born coins (newly listed or even on waiting to listed on the market), of course besides they come with low difficulties and low global hashrates? That's more like speculating, right? 

So what things make OP's issue was solved? Would be better posted here, so when another member has the same problem, this thread would be a good reference to solve their problem. IMHO

A bit confuses with your situation. You said your pool (YIIMP based) had received the wrong amount of block rewards? So, you have solving block of this "X" coin then the block reward that received isn't same as coin specification? Or I missing something here? Or what you mean are miners payment that mine at your pool?

To be honest isn't a right way of flashing our cards with your's modded bios file, regardless of that, you did a great job.

Armor series isn't identical to MSI, impressed less fierce, lol. Also prone to overheat, at least that happened to my Armors. 

I haven't heard about hydrogen power that you said as electricity alternative. Solar panels were good enough for handling mining power needs. But there were few conditions related that need to be a consideration. e.g., the weather that will affect how much power can produce. So, you must be double your solar panel from how much energy that needs, but it will cost you more.


The good thing about this alternate energy
While you aren't in mining again, you still can use that for supplying another electricity needs.

Picking a mining pool is one of the important things if you do pooled mining. It will affect your profit. The big pool isn't mean the best pool. You should know a few things about mining pool to decide which pool that you want to use. Pool payment scheme is one of its, and also there was some other thing.

But for now, you had few suggested pool. You can try it one by one and compare it. That was also one of the ways to pick the right pool.

That's was quite good, at least this is your first release. Useful enough for picking the hardware, though its price would be a bit different in every area, hashes speed quite reasonable (but isn't standard), another thing only need a bit improvement. Good job!

That's was good looking and seems like a solid frame. But only Diskless Boot that makes a bit different with DIY rigs frames. Another thing isn't giving much different with my current rigs.

Both same for your current cards (1050 Ti). So, better to use the one that you were easy to find it (8 pins to dual 6+2 ).

The one that I mean is PCIe splitter 8 to 6 or 8 to 8 (6+2). Something like this:



You can use it to powering your cards, safer since you splitting 8 pins PCIe.

Yeah, that's what I mean. With that splitter (at your link), you were splitting 6pins PCIe (75 W), Will be better to split 8 pins (150 W) to 2 x 6 pins, safer.

The product at your link is 6 Pin to 2 x 8 Pin (6+2), Will be better using 8 pins to 2 x 6 Y splitter.

As another comment above, that's was almost the same.

What makes a bit different are:

Brands: each brand has a different characteristic, some brand has prone overheat, another brand cooler than other, and also another thing besides the temps.

Vram type: Personally I didn't feel much the different, but most miners have a favorite Vram.

Memory sizes: in a few algorithms, memory size giving some different performance. Let's say on Ethash that need to load Dag File.
