321  Economy / Economics / Re: Will crypto solve socioeconomic problems? on: September 14, 2018, 03:34:01 PM
I do not know why people keep putting all these big problems on bitcoins shoulders to fix. No I do not think bitcoin can solve socioeconomic problems, nothing other than humans can solve that. We need true honest politicans to fix that problem, for hundred years people have been talking about if capitalism is good if socialism is good if democracy is good or whatever.
However the real problem is the people who are in politics are not proper people to be politicans, we need honest and helpful and aimed to help type of polticians which no matter what the system is will make that country better. Without that socioeconomic system will not be fixed.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum just crashed 10% in 3 hours on: September 14, 2018, 03:16:46 PM
It perhaps got affected by the price of BTC that are dropping.
Just as usual when the price of BTC is dropping, any other cryptocurrency also following to drop on their price.
Exactly! We all know most of the time when bitcoin starts showing a huge state of decline, it automatically affects the others. In as much as the market was really coming up with some solid signals, the market for bitcoin did not really help most of the altcoins that were even trying to make the push to be able to hit a substantial stage before even diving back to the lows.
A lot of people keep saying Ethereum took the highest dive, but is that not supposed to be an opportunity to buy more?
323  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will the Bear Market End? on: September 13, 2018, 04:08:01 PM
When the short futures stop being so lucrative. The whales see that they can both sell their coins to make more capital and use that capital to buy short futures that they are themselves causing to be profitable and make even more money on the low prices than the increasing price.
When they need to increase the price they use their capital to buy bitcoin and they need to use another capital to buy the long futures as well, but when they are doing short futures they are selling their bitcoin and that creates a capital all by itself which is really lucrative and profitable. Without that stop being lucrative, we will not see bitcoin price going up and getting a bull run.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where and which part of day do you gamble? on: September 13, 2018, 03:58:32 PM
I usually gamble during the day, when my work is done and its still not night I gamble on stake recently, I used to gamble on primedice a lot but stake took over that from me (well both owned by stunna so I do not think it matters to them Cheesy ) so I assume I am gambling at stake from 4 pm to 6pm or so when I do. Of course I do not gamble all the time but that is just when I gamble on some days, and also
sometimes I gamble really late at night which I hate because if I am sleepy the results would not be really fun but sometimes its hard to sleep so I gamble during the 3 am or so hours even though I try not to.

325  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Prices Down? on: September 12, 2018, 10:53:01 AM
Because its bitcoin and it is what it does. It also went from 6.4 levels to 7.2 levels just a week ago, this is what bitcoin does, it goes up and down. Can we stop freaking out every single time bitcoin moves 10% ?
In reality moving 10% is so common for bitcoin that I feel like its breathing, inhaling and exhaling. We should stop focusing on why it is going down and we should start focusing on why it is so volatile and why moves so quickly with such a huge margin. We need a bit of stable life for us and without that stable prices bitcoin will always stay as a risky investment option for many people. It will never be anything more than that without any stableness.
326  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think should invest in BITCOIN now? on: September 12, 2018, 10:46:05 AM
There sure was better moments to invest in Bitcoin, when price was much lower. However I believe that it still is good time to invest on this crypto, the price will definitely increase in the future, it already started to go up, moved from that 6+ thousand...
Every moment is always a great moment to invest into bitcoin and for those who are smart enough, they would know now is even a great opportunity when the market still sure has room for more growth in the future.
One thing I am certain of is that this is not the end of the peak and even if it is, there would always be that moment when the market will want to go back to test its previous ATH once again. However it is, investing in bitcoin should start now for those who are considering the long term.

328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto offer riches overnight? on: September 09, 2018, 02:45:58 PM
Of course it does. I was poor last night and decided to spend my last cent on some new coin and today I gave orders for my new lambo. Why do people open topics like this ? What do you get out of this and why is there so many people talking about it as well (me included apparently) of course it does not give you riches overnight, nothing does, the only thing that will make you rich overnight is the lottery if you win it, aside from that there is nothing in the whole world that could make you rich overnight.
You have to work for your money either with your brains or your muscles but in the end you need to work for it to happen.
329  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy in or opt out? on: September 09, 2018, 02:34:28 PM
With the markets experiencing a fall that kicked in around 24-hours ago and Bitcoin falling down to the 6,700$ mark, would you buy in or opt out?
if I see what's happening in the Crypto market today is very worrying, for those who have bought at a very high price and what is happening as has been seen by many people, that the current price of crypto is devastated, and for example you are not yet once entered into the crypto, for me this is your chance to buy and invest your money, even though today many people are still traumatized about the purchase that will be done by many people, but you have to have the principle and own principle in doing something for your own good .
There is no need to be worried about a market with future and I wonder why people get worried anyway if they understand the prospect and what the market holds with respect to its value based on usage in the long run.
Buying at a very high price does not mean you are doomed if the market is down, and the only time you lose anyway is if you eventually opt in at loss which I believe any sane person should not do. In the best case, it is better to have a clear mind towards the future than worrying about the present.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: Reason why other ban cryptocurrencies on: September 09, 2018, 02:19:45 PM
Bitcoin is not banned anywhere in Europe, but mostly in 3rd world countries and in Russia and China.  They are banning  it only because it does not comply with they law system.

well, hopefully it won't increase. I also heard that Arabs banned bitcoin, and that was a shame. I just hope that they all open opportunities again in this case, so that the cryptocurrency can be developed.
As time goes on, I want to believe a lot of countries, regions, and religions will open their minds to the essence of cryptocurrency and the advantage it brings. It is still early and it is a lot technical for some to wrap their heads around but as we keep forging ahead, things would start becoming clearer, we will get to start seeing more acceptances and hopefully a whole lot will change for the better.
What we should be more concerned about is seeing more real life usage cases for this space.

332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex trading or crypto trading and stock exchange? on: September 08, 2018, 05:50:34 PM
I been a trader in crypto since 2016 and i feel more comfortable in cryto trading im not saying that i am a pro trader already but im just know some basic in trading. I never been try to trade in forex and stock exchange and i was looking at this two trading platfrom to all pro traders here which is good and more profitable in this 3 platform
1. Forex trading
2. Crypto trading
3. Stock exchange trading

Thank you and i want to know if where is the good and most profitable and stable at this 3 platform a stable income.
Forex is where the rookies money goes to rich people, doesn't matter how much money you have or how great you think you are in the end whales decide on the market and it doesn't do what you think it should do, it does what the whales wants it to do. That way you are hang with all your money gone because of the margins and leverages and you say good bye to it. Stock market is a slower version and you can make money from it but do not wait for a insanely rich returns that will change your life all of a sudden. So that leaves us with crypto, you can buy crypto and either use it or keep it on your wallet, it will either make you rich in all of a sudden or it will eat up your investment and go down, no one would know.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Central Bank of Crypto-Currency on: September 08, 2018, 05:35:56 PM
As long as it is regulated by the government and taxed properly and creates a way into crypto for people to directly hold coins that is good however if it is like ETF the one everyone has been talking about than it is not good just because it has crypto in the name doesn't mean they really have crypto, they just bet on the price of it and not really actually have the coins in their possession which just puts the investors away from crypto and just puts them into a "gambling on price of crypto" instead.
I know decentralization is a big part of bitcoin but if people prefer centralized purchases than its their choice and they are free to select either of them and go with whichever they feel better about.

335  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on the LOW! on: September 07, 2018, 11:23:34 AM
some people like to see a decrease in bitcoin prices, because they use that moment to buy as much bitcoin as possible. and they will hold until the price rises again.
Apparently, who would not like price reductions for anything ? This is more like the market giving you a discount to buy into a market that was once high before and for those who said they want to invest, I believe that is where the idea of investment comes from as long as they understand the benefit they stand to gain in the long run.
A lot are still trying to expect the market to go up more than it is, but we still have to understand we are in a downtrend and a little upward movement is not a guarantee at all.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: important point on: September 07, 2018, 11:14:22 AM
Bitcoin directly won't solve any of the pointed issues. But think further a little bit. The debt of the country can be paid faster if the citizens of that country don't need too much assistentialism and if the economy is going well, collecting more taxes from the productive sector this way.

Bitcoin can help this way. Citizens will have access to different investments that weren't disponible before without Crypto-Currency; New job opportunities (online) will be available, paying in BTCs. With the correct incentives, a country which recognizes Bitcoin can be benefited by the currency, indirectly, as citizens will have an extra income, boosting the local economy, decreasing debt and poverty.
Nothing so important about the point. These are some things that can only be curbed if the government is serious to curb it and it depends on how funds are managed well. Have you not thought how some rich countries for instance in Africa still have higher percentage of their citizens living below $1 per hour in a day? That is a fact!
This is because the government is corrupt and bitcoin is not just going to be a solution to a government that is not ready to rid her from corruption and in that case, it would be hard to see all those things the OP listed solved just like that.

337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: September 04, 2018, 11:39:09 AM
never think about it to be honest, i have a budget to play with every month, if i win i cash out, if i loos i wait until next month:)
I have a question for you. If you never think about quitting after those losses, did it came to your mind that you regret losing and you have felt that what will happen to your money if you never gambled it?

This is the most common question will come to your mind always when loosing everything and sitting ideal that time you will think how much you lost and if you have never gambled then how much richer would have been. But what went off can be done nothing but just guessing is the only work will be going on.
I really should not expect it to be the most common question that comes to mind if you really know that gambling is meant to empty your pocket eventually anyway and unless you get extremely lucky, there is really nothing else you can get from it, than that.
Hence, if you are thinking of quitting after losing, then it is possible you never even prepared your mind before gambling that you are indeed bound to lose, and that is a problem.

338  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many consumers own cryptocurrency? on: September 04, 2018, 11:24:10 AM
Quote
As Lira collapses, Turks are piling into Cryptocurrency. Every fiat currency has ended in devaluation and eventual collapse, right from the Roman Empire in the 1st century AD to modern times.

These are certainly interesting statistics.

I don't know if the figures are accurate. If yes, then it certainly shows how bitcoin and some other major cryptos are already being used for the purpose of storing value in times where fiat may not hold its value at all. This is obviously reflected in the high adoption rates in Turkey. I'm not sure whether Venezuela was neglected in this, but I certainly would have expected them to show up as a high adoption nation as well.

These are all tangible benefits bitcoin brings as a decentralized alternative to fiat, and it can be easily seen in times of economic crisis.

However, I really doubt that just because of the Turkish inflation crisis, bitcoin will get pumped or bought heavily as a result. Even if adoption is increasing, the volume is simply not there to influence the market that much.
Could be interesting but does not mean it is useless. If we are to look at it in a generalized way, a lot of people for example in turkey will still want to believe in more traditional assets which could be a safe haven than the crypto space that is extremely volatile. That is not even the major case here now!
My main bone of contention is the huge prejudice in the data as on a normal day, I cannot expect just 1000 people to speak for me in my country where we are populated in millions.
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: List of Offshore Forex Crypto Brokers ( US & Canada Clients Friendly; Non ESMA) on: September 03, 2018, 12:25:16 PM
I'm wondering how does those crossings are having an effect on the cryptocurrency price when stock market guys is paying attention to the crypto market which is strange for me.
I really do not see anything strange about it. Most stock market traders are seeing a good opportunity in this market and who really would not love that? As far as I can tell, the volatility of this market on its own makes it a very good and enticing space for traders to make a lot of profit from this market in the long run.

A lot has been said about how this market is going to be the future stocks market eventually. We are getting close to those moments and for freedom as well, it shows a good way to go.
This actually brings out the point the more. Although the site is under maintenance and could not see the article written. However it is a good thing to know that we have some crypto fx brokers that are trying to bring an alt to the differences to the whole market which includes crypto, stock and fx.
Also, I still will like to see more reviews on some of these brokers anyway to know if those who have been using their services have some reviews to share within this forum.
340  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 20k again on: September 03, 2018, 12:09:45 PM
Last year it hit 20K because everybody was expecting BTC futures to be a game-changer. Which it actually was. But in a negative sense, since they're cash-settled. But ETFs are different. They bring real liquidity. So one can hope to see new high this year if ETF get approved this September.
I even want to believe that move last year was really manipulated anyway just to instigate the whole idea of the futures into investors head as a driving factor for the market.
Hopefully, we will have to see how the ETF approval will also have to fuel the movement of the market, either negatively or positively, which I also want to assume may not have anything much to do with how the market would move in anyway as the market just simply moves in the way it wants.
