321  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW I CAN CASHOUT BITCOIN? on: February 07, 2017, 09:29:51 PM
To be able to go through a small amount of fees (if you're willing to go through verification) I would suggest using reputable exchanges such as Kraken, or Coinbase. I personally use Coinbase and haven't had an issue with them at all.

If you'd like to go through some higher amount of fee / percentage lost in the process but care about hiding your identity LocalBitcoins or Paxful is the place to go, or the currency exchange on here.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: February 07, 2017, 09:27:53 PM
Real (Fiat Currency) can be used pretty much anywhere and I think has to be accepted in all stores in the United States. Bitcoin however is an anonymous decentralized (we try to make it this) online currency that is powered by miners. The biggest difference between the two is the volatility in how much that money is actually worth (Fiat will hold it's value and Bitcoin is super volatile)

Also, Bitcoin is only really accepted by the small niche of the bitcoin community which fully holds it back. It must address its volatility problem before it goes ahead and hits the mainstream day to day lives.
323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: February 07, 2017, 09:25:07 PM
Bitcoin and Paypal are both nice in there own ways but I would 110% rather use Bitcoin if I could in all situations online, that is if I trust the person I'm trading with too. The biggest thing that Paypal has on the online marketplace is that its rather easy to setup and tons of online marketplaces / seller use it.

People use Paypal also when they use sites that they've never really heard of and they're able to just feel the peace of mind of having a refund if needed later on. Bitcoin has to be accepted mainstream before people really start using it in their day to day lives.
324  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Btc Gen says it is btc exploit but it seems to be a fake site. on: February 07, 2017, 09:15:17 PM
Totally a scam site trying to get something from someone in this sad world. It's pretty much like one of those Nigerian scams saying " We have 5 million for you just send fees of $500 to clear this money up because it is stuck" Some people will actually fall for it and it's sad, but I'd still clear of this site and anything even remotely close to it.

Also, wouldn't ya think that someone in the Bitcoin community would've found out an exploit by now? At least an exploit of the same size they're alleging it is.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More than 50% of SegWit support comes from one miner on: February 07, 2017, 09:11:30 PM
Mining isn't decentralized anymore and it sucks as the vision of bitcoin was to have a fully decentralized currency without one majority party ruling / having a considerable amount of power when it came to bitcoin.

Though I dont think Segwit is close to activation yet (correct me if im wrong) and I would highly doubt BitFury would profit from the activation in the least. They may just support the cause.
326  Other / Meta / Re: Censorship in this Forum on: February 07, 2017, 09:09:46 PM
Haven't really seen anything like this on the forum, anyway you have any archive proof of stuff being removed? I've seen a couple people mention Blockstream but didn't see any retaliation taken against them by members of the forum.
327  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vladimir Putin wants an apology from Fox News on: February 06, 2017, 09:55:47 PM
Oh he totally is a killer and has probably ordered the death of many people inside Russia who don't support his rule. Though it would be nice to see some concrete evidence on Putin actually being a killer as we never really see anything like that.
328  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ALFAcoins - Bitcoin & Cryptocurrency payment processing system on: February 06, 2017, 09:54:30 PM
This is a nice service and idea and all but what is going to set you guys apart from a huge bitcoin accepting company such as BitPay or Coinbase? I'd like to see maybe a list of features you have that your competitors don't or something like that.

Thanks and good luck with the service guys!
329  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: signature campaign vs social media campaign, which is more effective? on: February 06, 2017, 09:51:09 PM
Signature campaign has to be more effective based on the fact that people on here are going to be interested in things relating to crypto, gambling, and so on relating to bitcoin. That's pretty evident as this is a bitcoin forum and people are being targeted in the best marketing way possible.

The difference on twitter is that most of your followers may not give a flying fuck about some random internet currencies bullshit which means you miss out on marketing to those people as they don't even have bitcoin. You want to target people who'll have a usage for the service itself.
330  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: best online btc wallet on: February 06, 2017, 09:49:17 PM
Best online web wallet for me would have to be Blockchain.info but it's only because it's one of them most simple methods to use and really is pretty safe if you following all the safe keeping steps they provide to secure your accounts.

I've heard very good things about BitGo also so you could check them out if you'd like.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help! Bitcoin Transactions Stuck in Unconfirmed > 16 hours on: February 06, 2017, 09:47:46 PM
I'll put these through on viabtc but usually if the fee is too low you're going to just have to wait and pray on one of the confirmations coming into this transcation, sucks but that's how it works.

I did it on both of them and it succeed and you can try it here if you'd like too, just take everything after /TX/ in the two links you provided.

332  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will they be adding all the paid anti-trump protestors to the employment figures on: February 06, 2017, 04:20:25 AM
God I pray that these people will actually count to the employment figures, as they are working and being paid for it. Plus it would make the Trump administration look more wonderful than it already is!

These people and protesters are really counter-productive when it comes to acheiving their goal like gosh.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is fee still high (6000 unconfirmed transactions) on: February 06, 2017, 04:18:47 AM
I feel that the fee is still high and rising due to the mentality that if you want to get confirmed quicker you MUST pay more (and it's true) this pushes the average up higher and higher for people to be confirmed at a normal rate.
At this rate, people are going to keep paying a rising price for the fee at an exponential rate.
334  Economy / Services / Re: Growing twitch stream looking for advertisers and sponsors! on: February 06, 2017, 01:24:44 AM
Could you be clear on what games you play and such like that? That is going to be key as to what people are going to want to target as games could be part of someones business.

I have no clue as to what game you're playing in your stream right now so let me know, that'd be rather helpful. EDIT: EVE ONLINE! Do you play any games such as CSGO or something like that?
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Will Kill The Income Tax on: February 06, 2017, 01:22:14 AM
I love how people here go ahead and say that bitcoin will kill the income tax, cause that is so untrue it is disgusting. Governments will just require people to pay the income tax either way, be it when you're using bitcoin or not.

Governments love money and will track it down until the end.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain is taking much time for confirmations :/ on: February 05, 2017, 03:47:16 PM
The network is really being pushed to the limit but I would have to say the quickest way of getting things confirmed is to pay higher then the average fee for the network at the moment.

It's all supply and demand and is the only way, sucks!
337  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What is signature campaign? And how can I earn btc by doing such stuff? on: February 05, 2017, 01:43:58 AM
These days at Newbie you really don't have any options when it comes to being in a signature campaign, your best bet is going to be ranking up to around Member - Full Member and that is when you can start making some money with your account from what you already love to do, post on here all the time!

It really isn't that hard to be in a signature campaign though if you want to make the best money for your posts you're going to have to keep the quality of your posts up, English quality high, and non shitty sections.
338  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How people can have so much BTC in their wallet? on: February 05, 2017, 01:42:14 AM
Most of the time when people go ahead and say that they have such a high amount it's usually a hot-wallet for such a service like a gambling site like one of those really popular dice sites. They need those hot wallets with tons of bitcoin in them to be used all the time for withdrawals.

People earn money though, that is really all their is too it.
339  Economy / Invites & Accounts / [WTB] Buying Steam Accounts (High Levels only) on: February 04, 2017, 04:30:31 PM
Let me know if any of you guys are selling Steam accounts with a high level. Would like to buy a couple. If the account also had CSGO that would be wonderful and helpful.

Thanks all!
340  Economy / Digital goods / Re: WTB adobe office keys ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? on: February 04, 2017, 04:18:21 PM
I wouldn't recommend buying from anyone on here who is going to offer you a deal that is "too good to be true" go ahead and buy it from a site like G2A, or another reputable site that will refund you if the key doesn't work or something along those lines.
