Lots of guys mine Ether, it will be a hell of a scare if any real proof was put forth to Ethereum being a scam...

It's a social experiment, not a piece of trash. It had an iphone running siri constantly using a solar panel and a face. $2000 worth of robot was destroyed because some blockhead thought it was funny to beat the crap out of it.

They won't succeed in nature. You heff to grow the things in controlled environments, if they don't receive enough nutrients then they will die. If the soil isn't good, the plants will have a hard time growing.

333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Building a small CPU farm, need inputs regarding choice of cpu. on: August 02, 2015, 02:39:00 PM
That's a stupid idea, CPUs take more power than profit gained...

Your mom's services. Budum tss. (A R9 Fury X GPU)
335  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 02, 2015, 07:42:36 AM
Bitcoin will never replace the dollar. The dollar is too cemented into culture. Bitcoin will surely be accepted more as payment when it stabilizes, but the dollar and other physical currencies have made too much of an impact to be replaced. It's a far stretch to say that any physical currency could be replaced by a cryptocurrency.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: Why not just print dollars? on: August 02, 2015, 07:35:24 AM
You can't print paper money without the specific material to do it... Cryptocurrency is a whole new revolution!
337  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Legality of Mining Bitcoins on: August 02, 2015, 07:28:11 AM
Only two countries I know of have restrictions against mining, they are undeveloped countries... I don't think you'll have a problem there... Just selling them is some ways is a bit shaky.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to bitcoin in our wallet when we die on: August 01, 2015, 05:49:43 PM
Depends on what you do with it. You do what you want with your bitcoin, so as you die what you make of your bitcoin shall be.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: can i mine any altcoin with any miner ? on: August 01, 2015, 05:18:41 PM
In short, no. Altcoins uses different languages that they code in. Bitcoin uses SHA-256, litecoin uses scrypt and so does dogecoin I believe. You need to purchase a miner coded specifically for what you are planning to mine.

which mean i can mine any altcoin with any scrypt miner ?

It all depends of what coin you want to mine. Each coin uses it's own specific algorithm, some have the same algorithm. You have to, in order to get profit, purchase a miner capable of the coin you want to mine's algorithm.  Cheesy
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins mined with CPU on: August 01, 2015, 09:09:24 AM
I only ask about cpu and altcoins as my pc is on 24/7 with a 6 core cpu so I may as well use it for cpu only coins. I used to mine scrypt before asics were introduced and then sold off the gpu as it wasnt profitable. I already mine btc with 2TH/S of power. It was around the time of the coinex scam that i last mined with cpu but remember it was fun and interesting so this wont be about making a ton of money- more of a hobby project.
GPUs aren't as outdated as you make them out to be. Newer AMD GPUs can mine with profit for the power they use, of course though, specifically created miners are still topkek.
