I just found out that last week Stuttgart lost against Werder Bremen and actually it wasn't a crushing defeat but it was enough to make Stuttgart fail to continue the existing positive trend. Stuttgart also failed to widen the points gap from Leipzig more and they were certainly quite annoyed with the defeat. I think there are times when teams experience setbacks and Stuttgart felt it too.
However, unfortunately, this week, Stuttgart are still in an unfavorable situation because they will face the only team that is unbeaten and also the winner of the Bundesliga season, namely Leverkusen. I think seeing the mentality of the Leverkusen players who are reluctant to accept defeat means that Stuttgart could lose again and Xabi Alonso certainly still wants to continue his unbeaten record.
