321  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are we brainwashed? on: November 22, 2017, 11:29:06 AM
That's something we have to day on a daily basis unfortunately. It's easier to let be brainwashed by TV, advertising and all kind of bullshit, that taking the time to think by ourselves.
We have goals but they are  determined what we see and what we are been told.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best wallet for altcoins? on: November 22, 2017, 11:24:29 AM
I use bittrex and  myetherwallet. The last is according to a lot of users likeone of the best & trustworthy. I read that some of you used a different for each altcoin, that's a wise decision. If something goes wrong with one, you'll be sure to have your other values.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: November 22, 2017, 11:20:37 AM
We have cryptocurrencies more powerfull than Bitcoin, it's the most known and the most trust but it's evolving very fast.
I guess it's depending on people, are we ready to let another coin replace the bitcoin?
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: November 21, 2017, 08:18:08 PM
As it has been said, the answer mainly depends on the reason bitcoin would die.
Anyway, if it should happen, I think the other altcoins could survive, but it would have a boomerang effect . People would lose trust in crypto and the value could decrease at a very low level
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do most people invest in wrong ICOs to lose money ? on: November 21, 2017, 08:13:26 PM
They just  didn't review the ICO first or do some research before putting money so they tend to lose money rather than to earn it from the ICO. ICO projects are great but it doesn't mean that you will always make money because making money takes effort and if you know how to do some research at first and do some little bit of effort and clarifying things then you will not have a high chance to lose money.
Yeah , i agreed this one, before do investment on ICO , we must make analysis and review about their ICO if you be a big investor , because a lot new investor trying to invest to some ICO for instantly get money when their project success but their never think about the risk , different with smart investor , a good ICO investor always make some analysis and review.
i just guess some ico was reviewed by major magazines like forbes , cointelegraph etc , then i will see their rating on icorating or review on youtube with their ICO dev or manager , this point we cant clarify their seriously with their project and launched ICO for gaining investor and promise the investor about their roadmap and project.

It's easy to be dazzle by a beautiful website and a good marketing campaign. Even it you look deeper and read the whipe paper, investigate for the team and the roadmap, you can be wrong. It's completely impossible to always invest in goog icos, that's part of the game. (but you can reduce the risk for sure Smiley )
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any altcoins to buy right now??rsvp on: November 21, 2017, 08:06:10 PM
I would advise you to look into Waves or Lisk. Those 2 coins have a big future I think. The best is still for you to do your own research.

Moment to buy lisk, there's a big convention tomorow in Berlin. I am sure the price will rise in the following days.
Waves is always a promising value
327  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think ISIS uses Bitcoin? on: November 21, 2017, 08:02:39 PM
We all know that Bitcoin is also popular to criminals because they can use it without exposing their identity. It will be more convenient to them to use Bitcoin so that they can hide their identity. Do you think that terrorist groups like ISIS use it for their transactions?

There's a possibility that ISIS or other terrorist organizations are using bitcoin. Bitcoin is the best, convenient and easiest way to transfer funds without even getting attention from the government, military, or police. I think most illegal transactions can use bitcoin transaction because it is safer than sending money in bulk or delivering it.

It's safe but they can be tracked too. They may use BTC but it's probably not their favourite way to pay or send money. Physical cash remains the safest option to me
328  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why are people scared of taxes? on: November 21, 2017, 10:47:37 AM
I am surprised, everybody seems to be against taxes.
I agree with you that taxes can be used in the wrong way (especially to pay politicians that are not involved in their missions). But it is also used to pay for medical cares, unumployed people, environment projects, cultural projects, improving the cities, the road and all the infrastructure we use day after day.

Without any taxes, what would  your country look like?
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 4 main reasons why ICO projects are not trusted on: November 20, 2017, 11:45:06 AM
Reviewing ICO projects is becoming a challenge because we have tens of them per week with their crowdsales starting. Some projects are making investors life harder because their websites ar not explaining how real they are and what they are really doing: using hype around cryptocurrency or trying to do the project.

The reasons why ICO teams are not trusted:
1. They have not links to social profiles of their members on facebook or linkedin.
2. There is no dedicated person that answers emails or in social media.
3. Communication is not personalized. You chat or email with a person with no name or a name you can not check is true.
4. You have to wait several days to get the answer from the team.
this is my solution, ignore the ico project that does not include their linkedn link, simple.

Agree with you. At least, it avoid you to dive into an ICO that doesn't worth it. I see what you mentionned like clues to evaluate the potential and the seriousness of the project (aside others factors of course)
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still support Ethereum? on: November 20, 2017, 11:41:54 AM
Ethereum has knows some troubles, especially with the hackings, but they are working on it. If we want to see the the glass as half full, there is room for improvement!
It's still a very good platform for smart contracts.
331  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all muslims are bad? on: November 20, 2017, 11:37:41 AM
Islam seems to have a much larger extremist minority than most other religions, but overall, most are peaceful. I believe not all muslims are bad, many people are very good.

Once upon a time, we could have said so of the Christians at the time of the Crusades. So it's just a question of time.
Of course, they're not all crazy. Hopefully
332  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Bitcoin became a legal currency? on: November 20, 2017, 11:34:41 AM
I think everyone will be crammed into buying bitcoins. everyone will use bitcoin to buy everything. bitcoin prices will also rise if bitcoin is legalized because people's need to buy bitcoin will increase.

It will rise for a while for sure, the time that everyone run on the BTC but then I guess it would stabilize and becomes like every other currencies.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: How to teach kids about Bitcoin? on: November 18, 2017, 08:30:59 PM
Well, the right way to teach kids about Bitcoin is that we have to be clever and patient in teaching kids about Bitcoin.
In general teaching children is difficult because of the nature of who always wants to play,so we have to combine learning by playing.
Examples like the puzzle in this puzzle game there are things that can process the mindset of children to be smart and of course this is very good so that children will easily catch the things conveyed by the teacher.

Games are a good idea. We can simplify concepts too. I see children around me and I am sometimes impressed by them. They perceive and can understand the events that happened in the world
334  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: November 18, 2017, 06:30:31 PM
Biggest problem and I see it every day with my friends and family, we cannot leave our phone. When we are at the restaurant or just spend time with people, we always have a look to our mobile to check facebook, our email or whatever.
I do the same and the worst about it, I can't stop myself from doing that
335  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Money can buy happiness? on: November 18, 2017, 04:11:11 PM
Money doesn't bring happiness but it helps. It cannot bring you health ( but better access to care that's true), true love and friends.
However difficult to be happy without money in our society
336  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Mind Reading Possible? on: November 17, 2017, 10:07:17 PM
I don't believe mind reading. Some person can detect and interpret non verbal cues and body language. Therefore you can "guess" what peopke think or how they feel.
But truly mind reading, imposible to me
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Should I stop Buying BTC? on: November 17, 2017, 09:59:32 PM
It's always the good moment to buy bitcoin. It will increase at the end. Bitcoin investment won't deceive you. More and more people are interested in it, so the value is on a good path!
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: November 17, 2017, 12:09:22 PM
Until the day that bitcoin is the only globally accepted currency, and by that I mean the only currency in the world, then of course the price will matter. Frankly I don't think that day will come and so for me the price will always matter if I own some bitcoin. I would own bitcoin with the hope of growing my dollar amount.
I agree many people was actually invested on bitcoin because they want to get a profit out of it ! meaning the price will always matter ! Imagine if bitcoin has no value I doubt  if people will still use bitcoins.
If bitcoin doesn't have any value or a high price then people will be lesser in terms of amount of users than now because the price is only one of the attractions of bitcoin and whether we accept it or not, the price is the only thing that matter for most of the people and that is why they are keep coming and staying in bitcoin because of the price.
Of course it matters , but more importantly I would say that it depends on the use you have of the BTC. If you want to invest, so the value may be the only factor you look at. But if you are really interested in the advatanges BTC offers and want to use it, the value is less important.
339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reaches 8000 USD on: November 17, 2017, 11:35:33 AM
I cant believe this

bitcoin is about to reach 8000 USD

The recovery is too fast. and there is a high chance for 10,000 USD by end of this year.

I am sure it will hit the 10,000 $. There's not limit to the BTC  Cheesy
Everthing went up yesterday by the way. I invest a lot in Lisk and waves and results were pretty good too!
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats the best ico to new person on: November 17, 2017, 11:31:36 AM
Make research about the ICOs first. You cannot fully trust what it is said on the forum. A friend told me about utrust, I only have a quick look, doesn't look bad, but I need to read deeply:)
