Now Real Madrid have made it 3 points clear of Barcelona although I don't think it's always safe. I also think that FC Barcelona has definitely improved in comparison to last season. Just take Ousmane Dembele for example. I have no confidence in Manchester United's performance. Their performance is not consistent. They won the last match though against Omonoia. But United conceded two goals. I think that Real Madrid played really well and dominated the match. Even though that is not quite evident from the scoreline. Real Madrid actually scored more than once in that match. But it was ruled offside. This was quite an eventful match. And I am surprised that it had only one goal in it. Both teams had more chances later in the match but the goalkeepers from both teams played really well.

I think that Barcelona should be able to win in the next match against Celta Vigo. And if that happens, Barcelona is going to go back to 1st place because the goal difference between Barcelona is far better compared to Real Madrid.

Yes, I think it's natural that Ancelotti did not field Benzema in this match, because he saw Benzema who had not found his best performance and had not been able to restore his sharpness after suffering an injury.  And I'm sure Benzema will find his best form again and he will score again for Madrid.
