322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 23, 2016, 04:41:03 PM
Yes, i am. I'm holding my bitcoins for a price increase. but the price of bitcoin is really down right now. I think i will play safe and selling all my bitcoins right now.

I am doing the same. I have hold since the middle of last year. I will hold it for even longer, maybe 20 years.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 11, 2016, 05:16:53 PM
Now that its almost clear btc is going to skyrocket during halving i guess I'd be saving a more.
I did even consider buying another account just to join some signature campaign but then again i'd be spending again..

I actually make transactions with bitcoins everyday but i keep some aside for when theres a price increase. But you should also have a bit of concern about the value of the bitcoin because you would be paying more than you used to before, if its value decreases.

Me either, I make transactions daily but now I'm just holding it and need to control my transactions. Because I'm hoping for the price increase.
And the speculations there are somehow true that after the halving price will going to inrease.

In the past I was also doing the same, whenever i earn some bitcoins I immediately withdraw to my bank via exchange, but when i studied in detail about bitcoin, it realized on me that it is better to hold bitcoin as it is more beneficial.

I will also keep my bitcoins for the long term. I might hold it for more than 20 years. It is a real currency.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Verizon came to my house, asked me to turn off my rigs on: May 28, 2016, 11:49:25 AM
It doesn't hurt to keep the rigs running and see if they will come back again. I would see how about getting compensated for any losses if they pressure you again.

There would never be any compensation, nor should there be. If their equipment is designed and operated according to FCC guidelines, they aren't in the wrong.

Well all our boards passed FCC inspection before they can be sold, so we aren't in the wrong either.

As the guys said early, these cards do not interfere when they are in a metal cage. I do not have cell tower near me.

In the MSI afterburner, in the general setting, you need to tick "Force constant voltage". So that you can change the voltage.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To remember WHY Litecoin is a good investment on: May 01, 2016, 08:24:10 AM
I've seen so many coins come and go.  Funny thing.  Ltc is still here and still respectable.

Just because a coin has a few months of glory doesn't mean it will last. I've seen more than a few attain a huge market cap only to become worthless over time.

The main difference between litecoin and other altcoin is that, litecoin is almost exactly the same as bitcoin.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: April 17, 2016, 05:44:02 PM
I bought some bitcoin in the last 3 years. I did not sell a single one. I just used a few. I believe the price will rise.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To remember WHY Litecoin is a good investment on: April 08, 2016, 03:36:35 PM
litecoin is going to be the number two altcoin forever

I don't think so. There is been 0 innovations in litecoin. It's just there because of some chinese whales.
For the common user, lifetecoin has no value.

I believe Litecoin will lose that #2 spot in 2016.  It's not just the price, look at how it's 24 hour volume has been slipping with recent competition.

It has already lost the second spot so far. If there is no innovation, litecoin will not be the second coin.

BTC&LTC&DOGE china starter pack.
Who earned some bitcoins the last pump?
BTC market cap: 15 177 850 BTC   / $ 5 710 726 774
LTC market cap: 364 947 BTC / $ 137 305 340
Doge market cap: 82 923 BTC / $ 31 198 176
ETH market cap: 517 178 BTC / $ 194 579 219

Ethereum is good for quick profit with mining.
for doge its hard to go for moon it will always stay lower at very cheap price.

The Doge has some unique usages. If it does not go to main stream usage, the price will not be too high.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in trouble on: March 01, 2016, 07:39:43 PM
Media and government will blame bitcoin for this incident (as usual) even though the hacker is the one who to blame.
This might be reason to "ban" bitcoin, just like what happened to other country.

It is the human being who should be blamed for the wrong doing. Bitcoin can be used for very good causes.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is in trouble on: February 19, 2016, 06:35:29 PM
Bitcoin is absolutely not in trouble, it will only get bigger and more accepted.

That is my thoughts as well. There are more positive coverage of bitcoin at present in the main stream media.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To remember WHY Litecoin is a good investment on: February 06, 2016, 11:17:44 PM
Litecoin really doesn't offer anything extra and I'm shocked that it's still relevant. It's also assumed to be heavily manipulated which makes it even worse.

litecoin is relevent because though not perfect its the best thing to come out of crypto so far.

Yes!  And Litecoin is the silver to Bitcoin, when bitcoin goes, so does litecoin and occasionally litecoin moves on its own  Smiley

There is no sliver to Bitcoin. The Bitcoin is divisable, so there is no need for a silver to gold, which is bitcoin.

If somebody build a smart contract system on litecoin, it will have some usage. Otherwise, it is just a clone of bitcoin.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: January 11, 2016, 04:41:38 PM
I bought Bitcoin around $390

Will sell anytime now.
Waited for $500 last time and it didn't work out so I'll be selling at $460.
Fingers crossed though.

Wow that is a lot of profit for. See, just waiting for not that long can really make some money. Not like those banks where you will need to take a year or two to get a good profit.

If you just deposited money into banks, you will never earn anything just a few cents every quarter of a year. You will have to wait decades before you earn the profit he will be taking. Bitcoin is way better.

When the bitcoin is more established, the investment income or saving interest from bitcoin will also be low.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: December 31, 2015, 12:35:24 PM
I would say, why bother holding on to them now. Just sell them as the price is not changing much and only going back and forth and ending up at the same number at the end of the day.
I do predict it will fall at the beginning of the year as it does every year due to it being a highly volatile currency and any wind of change will cause it into a panic  Embarrassed

I think nobody can predict the short term bitcoin price action. It is too volatile. The market cap is too small.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In order for a cryptocurrency to be successful in 5 years time, it must have... on: December 20, 2015, 07:03:27 PM
It must have good developers, good community. It is not produced just to scam people. Too many scam coins out there.
