The current Bitcoin model wouldn't serve for the mass adoption, so yes the core needs a lot of improvement.
But I don't think that paying people would solve it. This totally open source and got to the 10th version only trough community help.

The game got super inflated. There's too much gold generated from old players, and little to none way of that gold being "sinked"(the auction house always cut 5%, but that's pretty low). And you guys must remeber that gold is generated from nowhere, every second. Transactions on the game are instant except when trying to move things between servers. Tho se 2 things I believe that a blockchain solution won't be enough. |

It's a good game but I don't feel a real need to buy and play it.
There are other things that got my attention now(the last expansion on Starcraft2; soon Elsword, a shitty game that I don't know why I still play, will receive more updates and new max lvl; Killing Floor 2)

Assim que ou vir falar em Bitcoin minhas principais dúvidas é como era distribuído o dinheiro(mineração e como funcionava) e como diabos eu poderia gastar ele. Na época que conheci (2012) ele estava na casa dos 15USD e quase não tinha onde gastar ele, então ficava me questionando sempre a real utilidade dele.

You guys need to stop being bitcoin cultists and look at this objectively. Using bitcoin gives 0 benefit over fiat to the vast majority of people. Instead, they'd have to pay fees to exchange it, and to transfer the bitcoins to their own wallet, then again when they're using it. If I withdraw cash through interac, I don't pay anything. I don't pay anything extra when I'm paying the merchant either. With credit card, I can pay on credit. It's also extremely easy to use.
Why would I spend the effort to obtain bitcoins? The answer is that there is no reason, unless you're a libertarian bitcoin cultist. Seriously. Stop saying "You can obtain bitcoins by doing this, this, this, this, this, this and this". I can obtain fiat without doing all those steps. I get no benefit from doing those steps. Why should I do it?
Again, whether something is complicated or not depends on what that thing is/does. spending 1000 hours working to become an olympic champion is easy. Spending 1000 hours working to buy an Aero bar is extremely stupid.
Bitcoin isn't meant to be a "get money for free" option. Everybody that think that can be rich without any invest, that guy is really stupid. My country doesn't allow me to receive neither have USD or any other country currency. What Bitcoin helped me? It helps me to buy products and services without paying an annoying ~7% tax FOR EVERY TRANSACTION. PayPal takes almost 9% from common users, and because of the local law, even with PayPal I'm not allowed to receive payments in USD neither pay anything in USD without an international CC. So yeah, using CC is really easy, but they are a lot of pain compared to 0.0001 BTC per transaction. |

Answering something not answered yet, the mining process got very different in various ways and coins. There were some tries to make mining CPU only using diffrent cryptography, other coins tried making a new way of maintening the network as PoS(Proof of Stake). There were some tries making a game where you play a game to mine new blocks. There was even a coin that made you lose money for just holding it(Freicoin)! The most important are Litecoin, Dogecoin, and of course NLGAnd Dogecoin is far from important. It's the true pump and dump coin. Litecoin at least was the very first try with Scrypt and blocks generated faster than 10 minutes. |

Well that's nice indeed, but that is just exploration. Even if any member of this hackathon does something really nice, I wouldn't expect anything open to the public so soon(2016 maybe). Remember that the database of a bank is centralized and that the info will always stay there, so trying to make some use to the blockchain making any use of that database is a BIG problem.

No news to anyone, most things in the internet can only be bought or even donated only in USD.
The problem is, without a international CC, you can make nothing. Recieving USD in a bank account in my contry is even more pain, there's taxes everywhere that drain your money a lot.
So it helped me with those internet things, like Humble Bundle and other donations, where I could finally do something without being taxed a lot only because the government don't want me to use other country fiat.
