321  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / accounts negative balance on: March 07, 2014, 12:59:55 AM
Is not there a way to configure the bitcoind daemon to not allow negative balance on an account? How can i work around that?

Even if i check the balance before a send it still may get negative because the transaction fee is added to the value being sent...

I've checked the IP from Hal Finney's log - the first bitcoin user.
Well the IP corresponds to http://www.ip-address-lookup-v4.com/ip/68.164.57.219 LA, which is near temple city. Now this is dynamically allocated IP so the location is not precise, so it could've been Temple City as well.
If the guy is with Governmental projects system engineering background he definitely could've learned C++ in his late 50's then he got a stroke, stroke can change you heavily, even your writing style. Maybe he understood he cannot possibly contribute to the project any more and turned off all the communication.

Proof he spoke well https://www.national-preservation.com/threads/preserved-barsi-light-railway-india-kitson.38359/#post-702441
http://www.oscalemag.com/docs/ost_45.pdf

So it's either him or someone who knows him well.

Intresting, now his writing means nothing.

He is Satoshi guys, just deal with it.

If he's not then I know a reporter who's most probably going to be looking for a new career in the not so distant future.

i'm waiting for her reply on the denial or for a news week note announcing she is fired
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: **Breaking news** Satoshi Nakamotos identity revealed on: March 06, 2014, 11:51:34 PM
He gave two signs he is Satoshi.
"I'm not involved" ( but was )
"Free lunch" ( a typical libertarian expression )

bitcoin is a niche thing, it really does not make any sense to be on major news
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seems like China is dominating the market again with 71% of the volume? on: March 06, 2014, 09:02:28 PM
China has biggest population so kinda makes sense?

No, does not make sense. Their economy is very small compared to i.e. the USA.

GDP per capta of USA is USD$51,704 in 2012. Total of $16,244,600 ( trillions ).

European Union is USD$32,999 for the same year. Total of $16.584,000 .

China is only USD$9,055. Total of $8,358,400.

Considering also cultural matters, i just don't belive the chinese volume is real.

GDP per capita might be smaller but it's still the second biggest economy
Also you are comparing country to the whole European Union.

A country that has a population bigger than the whole European union.
335  Local / Português (Portuguese) / Re: Como poderia um investimento em bitcoin entrar no caixa de uma empresa?? on: March 06, 2014, 08:30:22 PM
Sim este dinheiro seria injetado na empresa.

Haveria grandes problemas pro investidor caso a receita perguntasse a ele a origem?

336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dorian Nakamoto does NOT speak English well and he ain't Satoshi, see article: on: March 06, 2014, 08:08:35 PM
Wait, your saying he was obfuscating his tracks by writing letters to the editor about new railway lines in California and reviews of buttery cookies on Amazon, with his real name, while, and after, he was developing bitcoin? That is a pretty sophisticated strategy. Maybe he even got into the model trains and wore the cute hat so later when his identity was discovered then he could go back and point to those pictures to make himself look like an unsuspecting hobbyist who nobody would believe could be involved in bitcoin. The guy's a master Roll Eyes

That's possible. It also hard to believe that someone with a higher education degree obtained in the USA and being so many decades in the country writes so badly. But we have to consider that the japanese really has an issue with foreign languages.
