321  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 01:46:31 PM
Well we are nearing the end of 2016 already and I think there will be only one more big chance in price around december. Reason for this is that people will be off/have spare money/christmas bonuses etc etc. More money to invest right! But IMO 2017 will be a bigger year for bitcoin, this year were a few setbacks and I think next will be smooth sailing.
322  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dark marketplaces? on: September 06, 2016, 09:16:46 AM
You shouldn't set up a dark marketplace cause it requires alot of work and attracts bad attention aswell.
If you are only into legal stuff then a dark marketplace is not needed for anything. They are mostly used to sell illegal stuff cause it's hard to backtrace anything. You can look up on youtube "How to set up a dark marketplace tor" or something similar and you will find enough tutorials etc.
323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you put all your money into bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 08:59:22 AM
I put about only 5% of my assets in Bitcoin because I do not want to risk all of my money by converting every cent of it into Bitcoin. The price goes up and down every day, and putting all of my money is pretty damn risky and I would not even try that.

Yep true just invest as much as you can lose. I invest 25% because with 75% of what I earn I can live comfortably. I am a risk taker and this is also fun for me to invest and see what happens, who knows I might get lucky and when I do i'll be sure that I have alot of bitcoin lying around. If bitcoin shows even more promising news then I will invest even more, that's just how it works.
324  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Steam accepting btc - will it affect the forum market? on: September 06, 2016, 08:50:52 AM
I don't think it will affect so much because there are other forums which are more aimed towards games and that's where the majority are going to do bussiness steam-wise I think. Also alot of people will just buy directly from steam and we are going to see alot of resellers that will accept bitcoin then. I think when steam accepts btc it's going to be a big step forward.
325  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 06, 2016, 08:37:33 AM
I will quit my dayjob if I saved enough money in my retirement fund to retire and then I would go full bitcoin. But that is not anytime soon though and right now I don't have the money to actually stop my job and go full on bitcoin because the first month already I wouldn't be able to pay my gas bills rent bills etc. But in the future then yes maybe if I am retired then its the same as quitting no? Smiley
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: September 06, 2016, 08:28:27 AM
bitcoin is too safer and secure and its transaction is very faster and bitcoin transaction fees is very lower.

The bitcoin block size is small, the transaction traffic is congested. So it will not be used widely by the ordinary people in the future as the fee is too high.

That is my concern as well. I am afraid that the bitcoin will be replaced by other popular fast digital coins in the future.

Yes this might very well happen. Bitcoin is also not very very secure as proven in the past.
An alt coin might take over and do it better, maybe google will buy the idea and they would rule the world via their currency. Sounds crazy but i think it's very possible. But for bitcoin to die there needs to be a very big reason or innovative idea.
327  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still have time to reach the 21 BTC goal? on: September 06, 2016, 08:18:28 AM
This goal is pretty high to have 21 bitcoin. I don' t think I will reach that.
The reason for that is because I don't think I put enough money into bitcoin to be able to reach that and freelance jobs don't pay that good just a few. So probably I will hover around 15 before it reaches 1k cause I'm almost there already. But there's no super rush can still earn them when they are a little bit more expensive aswell.
328  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a good way to store money? on: September 06, 2016, 08:10:36 AM
Yes bitcoin is exactly what you described in the title actually. "A good way to store money".
This is because with bitcoin you could earn a potentially very high interest rate depending on how it goes. But bitcoin have always been profitable so if you know what you are doing you can actively store and make money.
329  Other / Off-topic / Re: What would you like to be able to buy with BTC online? on: September 05, 2016, 02:59:30 PM
As the title says....

What products would you like to buy online with your BTC? Anything that is not yet available?
Wooow i would like to buy food everywhere by btc thats for sure, but i would like to buy electric devices with BTC,it would be pretty cool to go to the mall and get out from there with
a brand new gaming computer bought for btc right? but unfortunatly not many shops provide that way to make shopping Sad lets wait,it is going to change for sure Cheesy

Yeah there are some online shops doing this but I would also love to just drive to the mall and enter "Bitcoin plaza" or something equal. I would also love to pay in the macdonalds! imagine macdrive and you drive past a bar code which you just scan to pay.
330  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 05, 2016, 02:52:08 PM
Yes I was thinking about this option cause I could live comfortably without my job. I decided to not do it just because I wouldn't be able to handle full time on bitcoin.
There would be not enough work for me to do to fill up an 8 hour day so I decided to work less and balance the two things.
331  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: September 05, 2016, 02:46:30 PM
Next to earning them I buy some bitcoins, my reasons for buying are because I don't earn enough of them and I'm not satisfied with that amount. I want to have a good amount in the wallet just incase they skyrocket.
332  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you accept bitcoin as your salary? on: September 05, 2016, 02:41:14 PM
accepting bitcoin for my salary is way too much risky i can not take that much risk just for a little profit but if i go for trading with bitcoin the it can be much profitable than this

Yes it is alot of risk but not just little profit the profit can turn out to be very much in the end so I think just receiving PART of your salary in bitcoin is very smart and safe like this you have something of both worlds if one falls
333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: September 05, 2016, 08:45:05 AM
I like bitcoin more. Bitcoin is way more anonymous and gives you less annoying things you have to do. On paypal I had to verify super often and I had alot of trouble with payments being charged back etc etc. The customer support is friendly but with bitcoin I don't have to go trough any trouble.
334  Other / Off-topic / Re: The craziest shit you can buy with bitcoins right now? on: September 05, 2016, 08:34:43 AM
Have seen some dark stuff man, hiring killers buying weapons all kinds of drugs. Sexdolls no problem used lingerie or any kind of clothing wear no problem. even used protection is for sale. I guess because bitcoin is pretty anonymous alot of stuff will be crazy
335  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What would you like to buy? on: September 05, 2016, 08:23:36 AM
"Games", too much games  Grin

I'm waiting for steam to accept btc. I would like to buy a new videocard. But most of all I wish I could buy flight and hotel tickets trough bitcoin. Would make life a little more sweet. So far all I have bought via bitcoin are a screen and some black coffee!
336  Economy / Speculation / Re: What did I tell you? BTC will stay down under $600 on: September 05, 2016, 08:13:59 AM
Well the day has finally come that I can reply in this thread and say you were wrong.
As of today the bitcoin is hovering over and around the 600 and it's what, only September?
Interesting development seeing the coin shoot up by 30-40$. Stay positive and let's see what the upcoming months will bring instead of claiming the price will never rise..
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: September 05, 2016, 08:01:07 AM
Depends on your goals really. But keeping money on a bank is a waste IMO. There are more the enough safe investments which give a higher return rate then what the bank gives. Investing in bitcoin might proof to be worth it for you, it was for me. Bitcoin was my first "investment" and it got me hooked.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If one day BTC cannot be traded for cash, what will you do? on: September 05, 2016, 07:51:05 AM
If that time comes, I would surely spend all of my remaining btc into steam wallet credits and buy everything I can buy with all those and afterwards, sell the items or games to different people so that I can recoup my investment into cash. Many people are buying things and games in steam from different people, might as well take advantage of that if I cannot trade btc directly to cash.
Honestly I would buy everything I can off of Purse.io. I could stock up on household supplies and buy tons of fun toys with all the bitcoin I have saved up. I don’t think bitcoin will ever not be tradeable but I would definitely spend all of it on useless junk too.

I would do the same as you except spend it all on resellable junk so I could get some cash from it instead of buying useless junk and stockpiling my whole house.
Probably buy some high end videocards etc they easily sell Smiley
339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit $3k-$4k by end of 2017 on: August 26, 2016, 04:27:34 PM
These kind of things are just the reason why people expect to get rich too just all of a sudden. Remember that you buy/use bitcoin for the future it holds, not the money it can give you.
Not a lot of non traders would buy a currency and hope to 10double in a matter of 1 year.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it a sin to gamble? on: August 26, 2016, 04:21:04 PM
Gambling is not sin but it comes in category of norms just like telling a lie is considered bad habit and a liar is not welcomed in any society same gambling is a bad thing. It is prohibited in many societies by religion perspective just to save people from being victim of it which creates problems in society. It is kind a moral valued thing more than sin, in simple words.

For me gambling is a sin, because why are you gambling? Only for fun or profit? We are going to be honest we it the main reason why people are gambling is that they want to have a lot of money because they are hoping for it. And we all know that the love of money is the root of all evil things. So, when you run out of funds for your gambling needs then you can do bad things just for it.

Maybe some for fun and charity, in my country(I live in Europe), casino revenues contribute to taxes, for helping the poor, refugees, and unemployed people.

Many old people play slots after they got the change, playing for fun, only a few can win, they don't care losing money because they believe their money lost can contribute to the poor, which is a virtue.  Wink

I find it noble they still trying to contribute to society. It's even better your government to make a sinning hobby to virtuous hobby. Spending all tax income to poor people is good. Give them equal chances, and yes that means also the newbie europeans. Although I have to admin 300k for such a small country is too much.
