321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: March 10, 2018, 07:12:40 PM
I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?

If you will hold portfolio with junk in it then I'm sure you will end up loosing your money for sure. The holding is art, and if you pick the coins with good developers behind it then over the time they will surely develop it and once the utilisation of the coin starts the market cap rises too. This way price of your coin increases too. This is how it should work and it will work if you hold the right coin.

Remember there are more than 100 projects launched everyday and as we are common people we do have limitations over how much money to be poured in so choose only coins which you have studied perfectly. Over the time they payback more than enough.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO scam alerts and checks website. Need your feedback! on: March 10, 2018, 06:52:18 PM
Yup that would be great site to visit and worth developing it. I think sir theymos wanted to have service like this made by forum members so that forum can keep the illegal and scam websites away from the forum. This was in effort to have clean forum with no scammers around here. I'm definitely sure that your website might just get recognise very fast as there had been No such service and also theymos has not gotten any fruitful results from the community members. You could be game changer if the service really worth providing the valid data.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS JOINING BOUNTY MORE PROFITABLE THAN JOINING AN ICO? on: March 09, 2018, 06:58:17 AM
I spend most of my time now in bounty hunting of tokens, which is for me, a good way to earn more money in crypto world. But I've noticed that there was this ICO that i didn't join because they don't offer bounty campaign which is their ico token price was so less. And when this ico goes live on the exchange. The price of that token gains 10x of its ICO value! Thats why i think to myself, is bounty hunting more profitable than joining the ico? Can anyone help me out.

Thats true only if the prices of the coin goes 10X or even 2X man. But most of the time it has happened that coins down even show up the prices equivalent to the ICO prices. So in anyway ICO investment can turn upside down as you would put lots of money into it to buy the coins. On the other hand bounty programs will give you tokens and coins just for the purpose of different campaign and multimedia marketing. Thus in the later one you just put your efforts and time. That is not a loss if anything goes wrong and the prices could be anything but that would be always profits.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opportunity to sell for bitcoin on: March 09, 2018, 05:25:55 AM
I was wondering, if you had an opportunity to sell your stuff alike cars, pc, homethings and etc., would you sell it for bitcoin (or maybe other altcoin)? The main question is to see, are you ready trade stuff for cryptocurrencies and how do you imagine it?

Yes I would love to do this one and selling stuff for the bitcoin would be great for the old junk. I have already seen one website listing on the forum itself. I forgot the name but I would update the post as soon as I hit that thread. But the website is perfect combination of crypto currency and old junks selling. I can just go on the site checkout the category and then make the deal with the company. We can also choose whatever crypto coin that we want and thus it gives the freedom to chose as well. Its best I believe.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Government bans Bitcoins? on: March 08, 2018, 07:06:59 PM
Looking at the decentralized nature of crypto-currencies,Wonder if govt bans Bitcoins in future??Is it possible let's say by blocking all sites which relate to Bitcoin wallets/payments etc over the internet. In that case what would happen to our existing coins held in those wallets??

It is very simple to understand what would be the after effect if this really happens in the future. After the ban governments may or may not give you chance to take out the money that you have invested into it. If they give you then there will be panic selling of every dime of coins plus many of the exchangers going scam, many ICO projects running away with funds as nobody cares anymore. This was the market will start drying out drastically and the prices will drop with negative exponential rates. Thos who will sell earlier will get most of the investment back and others will start loosing the ROI.

One point will come when the whole investment will be down to zero and thus the prices will be zero all over. The end of crypto currency.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cryptocurrency! on: March 08, 2018, 06:43:46 PM
Governments of many countries are practically declaring war on cryptocurrencies.
Why is that?

They are getting crazy, may be! They think that crypto currency might become the reason for the fall of national economy. The reason is very straight here, investing into crypto currency is like putting your money out of the country thus making the turbulent attack on national economy. Because when investors put money into crypto they hold it there like forever. This means the funds get locked forever and economic circulation gets disturbed. May be this is why they are trying to regulate it or they are trying to destroy it directly or indirectly. This way we can call it as war on the crypto currency. But this will end soon when they will see real life applications for the same.
327  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will never reach 20,000 again on: March 07, 2018, 06:48:09 PM
Simply because the WHALES take the profits whenever there's a 5 to 10 percent growth.  The bottom line is Swing trading and Day trading is real and the HODL method is just what it is...

Thats really negative thought and I already don't like it into your heading! Bitcoin will reach that mark in the future for sure, no one can predict when but it will reach surely. There were lots of whales in previous time also who used to do the same thing, hold and take the profits from 5-10% hikes. The swing trades are anyway common anywhere but they are not risked by whales at all. There holdings are enough for them to get started and grab the profits (huge one) even if the bitcoin moves little bit upwards. I think whales are the smartest people who wants bitcoin to spike to 20K and I think they are not the opposite one.

329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trade with alt ? on: March 06, 2018, 10:46:09 AM
Why alt coins are good for trade ? why not bitcoin ?

Who said bitcoin is not good trade.  Huh

Bitcoin is best trade because we have more chance of hiking in the bitcoin. It has lesser factors which affects its up and down as compared to the alts. However, alts are such that they depend upon many factors and you have to be keen regarding its news update. Project development should be in line with white paper and roadmaps. Team must be very active so that we can see some developments regularly and then can see some hikes in the altcoin prices. Plus they have no surety that they will end legit always so thats big concern as well.

I believe if we compare advantages and disadvantages like this then bitcoin stands better chance of growing and trades can be made smoothly on it.
330  Economy / Economics / Re: why should bitcoin! on: March 04, 2018, 06:58:56 PM
now many altcoin, sprung up between it all there must be in the place of investing other than bitcoin, all also have the same opportunity as bitcoin all promising profit

but why do more choose bitcoin as the place they invest?

Bitcoin is far more trusted and oldest currency that people are trading here and that's why most of us choose bitcoin only. If you see most of the coins today then some of them might be just repeated past projects which are taking their heads up with altered white papers. Such things are spoiling many investors and that's why people choose bitcoin more or less all the time.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Ends on: March 04, 2018, 05:32:49 PM
That's far from happening because bitcoin was developed just yesterday only and still it's popular as heaven and new people are popping in everyday. Each day new person pops in is new proof for the bitcoin reality. The existence of bitcoin is all because of us and nothing else. If we keep using it then we don't loose it that's for sure. Plus day by day the use of bitcoin will keep rising and thus we will see it is being accepted by the government and much more. This kind of events will happen surely man and it won't let go the bitcoin.
332  Other / Off-topic / Re: will bitcoin give surprise, ?? on: March 01, 2018, 09:18:56 AM
in this month whether bitcoin will reach the highest price?

As always we can just predict the ATH will come or not but everything is just hoax sometimes and other time it could be jackpot. But I believe that it's hard to predict anything about the bitcoin as lots of changes are going on in terms of its regulations in different countries and thus it is affecting the rest of investors in the world. I think the limiting factors are more in bitcoin case and hence usually going with the flow is ideal thing. Already bitcoin is having huge wavy factors going on and trending line is off the chart.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Universal trading platform like Ebay with all the goods available for cryptos on: March 01, 2018, 05:42:35 AM
Guys from FreeZone are making a blockchain trading platform. It will be like Ebay but much wider.
It will contain the exchange, cryptocurrency trading, trade commodities, trade with financial assets and derivatives, marketplace for sellers, ability to use escrow for the settlement of transactions, and so you can buy any asset for the cryptocurrency in one account.
Interesting to use, isn't it?

Yeah it is interesting Idea for now but let's hope that they will actually create something like that in reality. I think we are done hearing or reading different ideas. We should have working models now so that we can use them and asses them at the same time. That's our benefit only.

I'm little concerned about the escrow transaction. The escrow process logic must be very quick so that we can buy the products and services from the website real quick or in real time. Escrow trust factors could be another trust factor too. But very good start up.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: What is The actual senses about bitcoin for common people ? on: March 01, 2018, 04:06:39 AM
As a matter of fact we know online currency is popular in virtual community cause they uses of virtual currency is common for online based work. This digital currency is not so much popular for those people or local people who are not related to online based work. They have no idea how online currency increase economical condition day by day.
But from few years people are more interested about digital currency  and online based activities only because of its several benefits.
Now a days we can hire skilled worker from all over the world and also can provide different work at the same process cause they don’t worried about money and payment system.
So on above this conversation common people are more interested for online currency.

Well said mate. Not to forget that we are common people as well and we are looking for the online opportunity always. So depending upon that we know very well how it is important for guys like us. However I do believe that in some of the countries local people are more involved into these kind of work because such people always keep finding the new ways of earning money. We might say they don't know much about the internet world but I have seen people who are hard in their work and do anything to acauqire such ways. Learning is the best key I believe in.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of virtual currency like bitcoin ? on: March 01, 2018, 01:31:43 AM
We don't need to worry about bitcoin futures, yes that's what Satoshi might have thought while programming the whole thing and made such that we can be sure about its bright future. The bitcoins concept is anyway unique and there won't be any advance technology as good as bitcoin is or what we can say blockchain!

There is very less chance that banking sectors will accept the bticoin though it has many advantages which they can use it in the domestic and international transaction. The reason is bitcoin's unregulated environment which may not be entertained by them and regulating it would be hardcore task for government. So the future is bright the way it is today.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if bitcoin price falls below the cost of mining it? on: March 01, 2018, 12:10:52 AM
Would bitcoin be able to recover? Are we safe since 80% of bitcoin has already been mined?

I remember it happened once in 2011 (https://www.themarysue.com/price-bitcoin-falls-below-mining/amp/).

Satoshi thought and planned for it.

If the bitcoin price falls below the cost of mining, some miners will exit. It will temporarily cause block discovery to lengthen as the existing miners striuggle - but after 2400 blocks, the difficulty will adjust down. That means it's easier to mine. (The difficulty is directly linked to the cost of mining as you need many more miners to win a block when the difficulty is high).

Basically you'll get iterations of this till the cost of mining falls below the bitcoin price. If the bitcoin price fell to $1 I expect you'll be able to mine them with your laptop as the professional mining farms will have long given up.

Bravo! Nice answer and I like it the way you explained it. Yes it's true that with decreased prices of the bitcoin the tension on the blocks will reduced down as miners will not be able to cover up the earnings and then keep the miner live.

In addition to this there will be one major indirect factor that will play role in demotivating the miners to exit the field and that is reduced number of investors and also existing investors will pull back from the bitcoin world as the prices drop to couple of dollars. This way GPUiners will benefit lot. You can confirm your own transaction by using your computer power by including the txid. That would be cool.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency on: February 28, 2018, 09:36:05 AM
The digital currency cannot be an effective means of circulation.

It's the lack of elasticity of supply.

That creates currency instability.
It can be used by many worldwide but cannot be effective to replace as a global legal tender to replace physical money. Because other countries cryptocurrency banned by the government. Yes it could lead to lack of supply and also still physical money be used by means of payment in the future.

Cryptocurrency don’t need replace physical money cause its better on its own way, its given that fiat money will never die but this kind of technology will help us to enjoy more in the future. The supply with cryptos is not a problem, because we all know even stock market doesn’t run out of supply its a matter of demand and it will create supply.

Ok some convincing points here. I like the way you separated the crypto currency from the fiat currency. They have no similarities at all and they run in their own different principles. So you see, there is no reason for crypto to go in the banks, in national circulation or to replace the fiat currency in first place. All is vein in front of ever green crypto field.

The supply is unlimited. The coins can gain as much value as they want and apart from that they can be divided into sub tokens too. So everything is manageable in here.
338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have we seen the last of Bitcoin Cash? on: February 28, 2018, 06:25:59 AM
There have been two major flippening attempts, where BCH supporters tried to overthrow BTC.  Both attempts have failed, but BCH gained a lot in terms of market cap.  During those events, when BTC transactions were ridiculously slow and expensive, I watched a lot of people on Twitter jump ship and join the BCH camp.  It makes me wonder if a future flippening is possible.

BCH has been quiet lately.  Do you think we've seen the last of it? Have the BCH supporters given up for good, or are they gearing up to attack again?

Yes, offcourse BCH Coin did the attempt which was completely failed one and boldly it was artificial pump made by the owner of the coin. That tells us that this coin was merely made for the pumping and dumping and there is no real intention of the owner to develop it further, at least that’s what it looks like at the moment. If I were to choose a coin like BCH then I would rather choose to invest in real gold and take off from the crypto world.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: February 28, 2018, 05:44:19 AM
The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?

It’s goid to know about your thoughts regarding the student and financial management relationship. The thing is, what we teach in our schools is not enough but there is also additional thing that we can not teach our students everything under one roof. They are delicate brain at the initial stage and might not be able to digest everything at first. The mortgage and future plans is something which they should know but may be parents are the good treacher consider the personal investment. So it’s our responsibility that we should teach them all these managements and make the economy stronger.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it digital gold? on: February 28, 2018, 05:13:32 AM
Bitcoin is like digital gold ........ is it correct? It is a transferable asset but not duplicable ..... do you agree? What are the points in favor and those against this statement? I would like a very analytical and specific arisposal.

Who said we can not duplicate it. The Algo of bitcoin is used everywhere on the GitHub and other programmer center to replicate it in the altcoin code and that is strongest reference for it. On the other hand from where you think the fork coins are coming? The best way is to copy bitcoin codes!

It could have been digital gold if it would have been precious and stable in value. But it’s not that stable and there are many other coins which are far stable than bitcoin and are easy to get profit with. It’s all about the money after all.
