In the last few days we have set up a new Slack channel, for which everyone will have to register again. This registration will be done by verification, with 3 options to start with:

- through Facebook
- through Linkedin
Nocks
At Nocks, we receive your email address and the status of your account (verified or not). It is only possible to sign in with a verified Nocks account. You will receive an invitation to Slack email immediately after registration.
Facebook/Linkedin
We can view your profile and we receive your e-mail address. Profiles are manually judged on authenticity and within a few hours you will receive an invitation for Slack.

Heil Rijk!And believe me, if they can lie about this, they will lie about other stuff too! This last post comes across as a conspiracy theory and not something factual. I highly doubt Rijk would do this intentionally considering the coin has dropped over 60 places on CMC this year. No theory here, just simple facts: - Gulden dev's claimed they were ordered by Slack to open a new one because they had to know who joined - Slack never ordered anyone to do this! - Over 1000 other coins have been scammed in their slack, none of them came forward with a statement they have had similar orders. - Gulden dev's have a history of censorship since 2014 (Forums, ANN's and otherwise) - Gulden dev's have made it abundantly clear they refuse any criticism in any of their controlled media - Gulden dev's have banned more people from the media they control than currently are in the new slack - Gulden dev's don't care about the price of NLG because they robbed the obedient fanboys of over 600BTC ($ 3,500,000.00) - Gulden dev has just one goal, keep the community dumb and obedient, so they can squeeze more BTC (not NLG) out of them |

Gulden is interesting project but its not true time to investing. At this time, buying bitcoin is the best investment. Gulden need more time to increase  Bitcoin is not the best "investment" this moment... people are blinded by greed (Warren Buffet has a nice quote regarding that). They don't see the risks involved with the upcoming fork. It also became clear to me last week that someone bought a few BTC futures for 1000USD (betting on one main chain) that people don't understand how that fork will work. In that view NLG has been a safe store of value (being stable between 0.09 and 0.11USD for months). Let's see, if you invested € 1000,- on jan 1 2017 (BTC against Gulden): BTC buy @ € 948, now € 6,117 -> Profit € 5,169 NLG buy @ € 0,03 (33,333NLG), now (33,333NLG @0,07) € 2,333 -> Profit € 1,333 So BTC did 4x better than Gulden. |

For three years its price has only increased, thats why it can be inferred that since the market has developed it and its price is likely to rise a lot nowadays.
Not true, it's price only increased against the $ and €, and mainly because BTC gained. If you look at the NLG-BTC pair it's a totally different story. That's also the reason the dev team sold off on their NLG pre-mine for BTC. Shows their commitment to their own coin. |

So the initial questions was: I didn't want to post this in the Gulden Announcement page to avoid bias opinions but wanted to know if Gulden is a safe bet compared to other alt coins. The reason I am asking is I noticed there ranking on coinmarketcap is way below other coins that have nothing going for them or is it that the other alt coins are way over priced?and it now comes to posts with a font size as big as the eiffel tower.  All i can say when looking at the graph of Gulden, it's just the same story as all the other altcoins. Waste of money. But how do they get there income?
They raised a few hundred BTC last year for development (and a bit extra to speed it up). Devs are comfortable that their income isn't influenced to NLG price development. Yeah, we took over 600BTC from you dumbasses! That's right, over € 3.000.000,-!!! So we don't care about your investments or Gulden price. We do what we like and you get to say Heil Rijk!
