321  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: October 23, 2017, 04:33:01 PM
I have agree with idea from my friend is there have been implications that Bitcoins can be used to secretly launder money outside the country. Central banks across the world have been wary of Bitcoins as an uncontrollable and unpredictable form of currency. Cryptocurrencies are leading to loopholes in the current bank’s data about the money transactions leading to inability to track economic activities. Crypto and Cyberspace has emerged as a power in itself thus bringing a check on the activities of the so powerful governments.

Yes you are right, bitcoin can be used to secretly launder money and I trully believe is already used to that. But if we think, fiat money is used to the same thing and we are ok with that, that is why I say that there is a great hypocrisy of the people who defend the fiat money and ridicule the bitcoin for trying to say that bitcoin is going to be used to do evil and this and that when it is our own money fiat which has already been used for centuries to do the same damn thing. People can cashout their fiat money in every corner in the streets and nobody will ever know for what it will be used (to buy drugs, buy guns, terrorism, etc.). This argument lacks the truth and can not be used in a ridiculous attempt to minimize the use of bitcoin.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] DIGITAL RUPIAH - DESENTRALLIZED RUPIAH ON ETHEREUM BLOCKCHAIN on: October 23, 2017, 04:24:36 PM
When you make a token backed to Tourism is very important to see the possibilty of doing the beta version of your products. Do you plan to publish a stable version in the very near future and begin implementing it to your clients from investors list?. Does your team (which I don't see in the thread) have developed a brand strategy for the token and are ready to provide the market with a lot of positive news about the product, new customers, new deployment markets and so on? (It's a very important thing to publish this asap). At the same time, you should reserve funds to ensure the growth of the value of the token and make efforts to ensure that the token shows continuous positive growth and maintains the status of high liquidity for the investors and the costumers which want to invest on tourism.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre-ICO bonuses on: October 23, 2017, 04:16:20 PM
This is a really easy way to attract investors but I think that there is a limit of what Icos can offer as Bonus, because it's like you say that some icos are offering 100% bonus and that doesnt make sense...
I agree here - no sense to offer 100% - that sounds silly
However 40-50% bonuses at the sale start should work - it will stimulate early investors to make decisions faster and not procrastinate - then those investments can be spent on attracting slow-thinkers ( risk awerse)  Wink

What about airdrops??? Can someone advise if that is something projects should consider and what is the value?
I only join airdrops I consider worth it. I make a quick search to look it on exchanges first, even if it's the worst exchange so I can make a quick buck and that's it. But there are some good projects actually that you may consider getting an airdrop or bounty reward like Postoken. They are doing a great airdrop and are listed on ED already, next round finishes 29th october so take a look at that, you might enjoy it! About what you said with bonus, I think 40%-50% is still high for a Ico sale depending on the quantity that is available. Bonuses can ruin a project if it's not very well managed.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 💲💲 Bitcoin Gold already airdropped on Yobit !!💲💲 on: October 23, 2017, 03:18:00 PM
Yobit one more time listing a coin that doesnt even exists yet. It was the same thing with the Bitcoin Cash, they list IOU and manipulate the price so they can get it at a high price and when they receive the real BTG, they will sell immediately making a good profit and the rest of members will be able to withdraw and deposit only when fork has finished. I never trusted Yobit and I don't know how they are still operating in the cryptocurrency market until today. Those scammers keep coins that no longer have active blockchain listed to trick unsuspecting people like they did with Esp1.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CND] Cindicator - Hybrid Intelligence for Financial Markets - September 12 on: October 23, 2017, 03:07:09 PM
I saw on twitter both CND and Hitbtc having kind of an argument about listing the CND token. CND did not give authorization to Hitbtc to list them, but Hitbtc alleges not having received anything from the CND team. Hitbtc also alleges that they believe that cryptocurrencies are not to be controlled like that and managed single-handedly and I think they are right, but CND is doing the best they can for listing in safe exchanges according to the advices from their lawyer. Hitbtc should ask for permission before listing any coin and not making IOU because you never know what can happen. Here is the link of their conversation on twitter https://twitter.com/hitbtc/status/921731033535602688

326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][ENJL] Crypto and fiat money in one wallet! on: October 23, 2017, 02:59:14 PM
Do you intend to create just one wallet where we can deposit and withdraw funds from both cryptocurrencies and fiat money? I would like to know the country based on this project because I know there are many limitations of the IRS when it comes to negotiating USD (or other fiat money) from other countries. If you have already dribbled this problem, you are one step ahead to make a good advance gathering fiat currency and cryptocoins, and don't forget to put the team info so we can see what are the early experience you guys have had in this branch.
327  Economy / Economics / Re: What would be the possible impact of BTC in the economy of a country? on: October 23, 2017, 02:50:28 PM
In a first moment I think bitcoin can change the economy of a country like USD did. There are a lot of countries which have changed their national fiat currency to USD money because of its solidity like Bahamas, Equador, Jamaica, New Zealand... So there's a country using massive quantities of bitcoin that is Philippines and I wouldnt be surprised if I saw them officialy become Bitcoin as an oficial currency of their country and that would be a milestone for the financial market of cryptocurrencies. There are families there selling their whole patrimony for bitcoin and their Central Banks have already said lots of positive and good thing about bitcoin and even have published regulations for its use earlier this year. The deputy director of Phillippines has said "It’s like any other monetary instrument [and even] an investment instrument. There are risks but essentially, it can be managed. If you want something that is fast, near real-time and convenient then there’s the benefit of using virtual currencies like bitcoin." So you can imagine what is the impact of BTC in economy of a country.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: Why economists say Bitcoin a bubble on: October 23, 2017, 01:58:19 PM
When they have nothing better to say about bitcoin, they just say "it's a bubble". Economists might well speak of the great properties of the currency bitcoin and how it is changing asset liquidity or how it is changing the payments market, but of course it is not important, as they did not buy bitcoin years ago when it was worth only a few hundred dollars, so let's just say it's a bubble and soon it's going to burst and bitcoin's going to be worth $ 100 proving once again that it's not a reliable source of trade. Thankfully we do not need any economists saying nonsense when it comes to bitcoin, because they speak badly of what they do not know and this is normal. You will never see anyone speak well of the bitcoin coming from Wall Street (unless he has already bought several coins and tries to manipulate talking nonsense on twitter).
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Soar] SOARCOIN - Your new digital cash! on: October 23, 2017, 12:58:08 PM
I confirm I have received my airdrop sucsessfully, thanks for the great campaign. I just wonder if you guys have a prediction to update the roadmap and new updates coming for the next year because we are finishing the Q4 2017. And are you willing to get more members to the team? (Sorry if you already have done it, I couldnt find this info here on bitcointalk). I saw some milestones of the project and I'd like to ask how's it going right now with this: • Working to get listed on a Sweden exchange • Partnering with one of the largest Indonesian bank. Is the talking with those two enterprises going well? Would be great if you guys gave us some insights from these things this week.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof-of-Work (PoW) is not secure, has no future, electricity use of continents on: October 23, 2017, 12:18:52 PM
POW is only worth when there are just a few people mining, but the problem with few people mining is that nobody is interested in the coin. When there are too much people mining that means more hashpower and more eletricity cost but the coin should be very worth it. Maybe we'll never find a break-even point which is good to mine and receive a good amount of coins paying less energy. I think POW isnt dead and still have a great future because Bitcoin uses this system and there are a lot of people mining it and everyday the number of miners rises considerably. POS system came to balancing things for those who can not buy high power mining but in the other way you must have tons of coins to be worth mining throught the POS system and the strategy is chosing one in early stage like ICO and buy when is cheap.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet backup help on: October 23, 2017, 12:16:45 AM
In order to back up your wallet the wallet.dat file should be ok, but make sure to have your private key of your wallet and store it in a safe place. Some wallets do not have the private key because they are on the wallet.dat file. These are the two main ways to back up your wallet and also remember to do it as soon as possible and everytime you make changes on it, make sure to back up again. We have had to many scam attempts lately with the fork incoming.
332  Economy / Economics / Re: Catalonia Referendum Pushes Bitcoin Prices Above $4400 on: October 23, 2017, 12:07:03 AM
Sincerely I don't see any kind of connections with Catalonia and Btc Prices because when the referendum happened price didnt make any great moving. But I think it may affect Bitcoin indirectly because of the fiat changing price, and the recently movement of Bitcoin is because of that fork thing which can be back to stabilize after 25th october.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Miami Homeowner Accepts Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash for $6.5 Million Mansion on: October 22, 2017, 11:36:46 PM
Not the first time I see that. Some millionaires are into Bitcoin since more people are adopting it as a payment method for stuffs. Some people treats bitcoin as a passive active and keep them to add as one of their fortunes. Apparently some people want to own a large reserve of bitcoin hoping to cherish just like everyone else does.

335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NetM - Blockchain network oriented to corporate use - (AIRDROP) on: October 21, 2017, 03:12:02 PM
More listing on exchanges and none advance in the project. We expected huge updates in whitepaper, more people on the team and a good roadmap, but it appears that dev is only interested in listing the coin in shit exchanges and even so, price is not moving to anywhere. Plus giving airdrops and giveaways brings negative marketing. I dont even know how Novaexchange hasnt delisted Netm yet from their exchange. I liked this project in the beginning but now it looks like a dead one.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌌|ANN| Aigang Network - Blockchain Protocol for IoT Digital Insurance |AIX|🌌 on: October 21, 2017, 03:05:03 PM
The insurance will be sold to enterprises assecuring in the blockchain using the tokens or you guys are willing to use fiat money? The users claiming profits daily based on their investment kind remember a ponzi scheme (I am not fudding). I wanted to know where the money from this ROI is coming from because you are on test phase yet and already are distributing profits of invesment.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinGold is a Scam!?! Carefull with Your Bitcoin Private Keys!!! on: October 21, 2017, 02:56:24 PM
This site does not look safe, looks like a simply scan site plus you never put your private key in anywhere. I don't think BTC Gold would ask our private key in order to receive their coin. The fork will happen only 25th october and if you have any bitcoin amount in the exchanges, they will let you know when and how much you will receive of BTG, don't be scammed.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ECB President: Bitcoin Not 'Mature' Enough to Be Regulated on: October 20, 2017, 06:56:23 PM
Bitcoin wasnt created to be regulated, that is the point. They are mad because BTC will never be in the government' hands domain, that's why every coin that state (central banks) try to create will fail! Some people say that a coin that want to be regulated will be the new bitcoin, but they forget that those coins won't be worth a penny. Here in my country Bitcoin isnt forbidden, but there are rules you have to follow in order to be everything cool with IRS and taxes like declaring your coins if you have more than an certain amount of them and also pay the taxes, and that is a point I totally agree. Remember what happened when that bitlicense came out, a lot of coins don't trade on US because of this shit and the exchanges US based suffer with their IRS. I hope this may change in the future.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pre-ICO bonuses on: October 20, 2017, 06:45:46 PM
This is a really easy way to attract investors but I think that there is a limit of what Icos can offer as Bonus, because it's like you say that some icos are offering 100% bonus and that doesnt make sense, it's easier if they give free coins to everybody. A good bonus should be something between 10% and 15% , that is showing that you want to call people to your project but at the same time you are being fair with your bonuses. Another thing that I don't like is the bounties paid, some people get more tokens from bounties than the bonuses offered.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin Cash will NEVER be bitcoin on: October 20, 2017, 09:58:46 AM
BCH became a simply altcoin after the fork. It's kinda funny people actually thought that BCH would replace bitcoin, and I hate the fact that Developers of Bitcoin took months to build the whole project of Bitcoin and worked hard to bring this new concept of payment method and some clowns think can come and build a new coin from the original code and blockchain. Why don't they do the same thing ICOS do? Bring your new idea and project, work hard, raise money and we'll see what you can do.
