hey guys just want to update i switched to bfgminer and now im running sweet! just have one thats spewing out hw errors.
im over 6MH/s actual nonce (3rd hashrate) in bfgminer. thats with 18 running at 850mhz.

if anyone is having trouble with cgminer i suggest installing these st virtualcomport drivers windows 8 64bit (im using them on windows 7). they seem to work nicely.

Never use psu (adapter) from China .. blown a few already.. use PC's psu.

Not sure what's the startup amp .. but your psu is 12v 10a? it can only support max 2 GS in dual mine mode.

Anyone know of a source for the ATX PCIe (and molex) to barrel plug adapters?
Seems CabelZ is no longer making them...

It is not difficult to make one yourself. Just need to find a molex cable that splits input to 2 output, then cut it and attached to the barrel plug..

Im not having much luck finding the pcie mail sockets with crimp pins...
The molex sockets are easier to find, but still looking for the crimp pins.
I didn't really want to hack an existing cable and have a bunch of electrical tape, looks kinda crappy.

i put all 18 of my splices in one location and put a large piece of shrink tube over all of them..... looks seemless.

Why are they pulsing? Are they some sort of cyborg gridseeds?

oh i thought that was a feature? hehe its my camera it does animated gifs and only animates the moving parts

yeah im not voting for shit. if people want to pay to vote that is their decision but like magnet said its pointless.

im also not one of these people that cry when a coin DOES get added to an exchange. that is even dumber but i see it all the time.

331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] GridSeed Miner Support/Tuning on: March 28, 2014, 11:08:24 PM

what should i set for BAUD?
cgminer.exe --scrypt -u podizzle.x -p x -o stratum+tcp://us.dogepool.net:2222 --gridseed-options=baud=115200,freq=800,chips=5 --hotplug 5

800 is working much better at what point is too many HW errors is your guys opinion is there some ratio A:HW that i should shoot for?
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [GUIDE] GridSeed Miner Support/Tuning on: March 28, 2014, 10:46:49 PM
hey guys can anyone tell me whats wrong here? all 18 are being detected but only some are accepting shares so far? my total accepted and hash looks right at top but its not even coming close to what the pool is showing.

Your Mhz is probably wrong. You should start at 800 and step up only if it's stable. Most unmodified Gridseeds don't work well above 850. It's unclear from your screenshots how long it's been running, but there a lot of HW errors.

thanks friend! i will try 800 dunno why its at 888 ?

Quick update:

We will be implementing KGW later this week, before Sunday's distribution launch. We will notify you all when we push this update. N-factor will follow later.

We understand it can be quiet confusing with these patches after eachother but we feel it is necessary for our launch to succeed.

excellent

How many people are working on verifying the "proof of residence"?

I could sit here and answer your questions all day. Unfortunatly I don't have the time to go into all the details right now. I would if I had the time because transparancy has always been very important to us. However we have all been working around the clock testing our systems. So I'm going to ask you trust we do our jobs right and wait untill we go live.
Right now we are very busy testing our verified proof of residence system and are making sure we're doing everything we can to make sure the distribution will start smoothly next week. Thanks for your concern but we've always felt that we are exactly where we want to be and have the right tools and people to make this happen.

"Answer questions all day"?

You seem to evade those questions while they are very essential to people mining and investing in this coin.

You seem to have the time to type this reaction but no time to answer 3 or 4 questions I repeated several times?

I think you don't have the answers.

Wow your being annoying. They already stated that they will explain everything by Sunday. Wait out abit instead of making accusations. And by the way, you said: "this is not your party". If that is so, leave the coin alone and stop harassing around in this thread. JUST WAIT FOR FIVE DAYS THANK YOU!

thanks for responding dev
