321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to the common man. on: April 14, 2024, 09:47:05 AM
Mate, the common man needs a place to buy bitcoin from and a place to spend that bitcoin on, if they are going to have any use of it. Now most countries in the developing world, have not got these in proper numbers, heck crypto transactions are being taxed heavily in some countries. So the common man is at a loss and they would rather use fiat over bitcoin, than go through all these idiotic paths.

Things might change in future but for now this is what we have. If you dont live in such a country, good for you, but to remind you that many live there too.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: Debt Management. on: April 14, 2024, 09:42:55 AM
I would say dont be in a debt or attempt to make choices in such a way that a debt is never incurred. A debt is a constant headache, at least from my perspective, it makes me uneasy to feel that I owe someone money and have not been able to return it till date, be it a bank or a friend.

The concept of debt management comes in because people dont spend as per their needs and their income. If they did, they would never be at debt at all. There are methods to cut down on expenses but few people actually are diligent enough to employ those.

Try putting your credit card away and manage your expenses in a way that you have some saving at the end of the money - its a rigorous exercise, but it can be done.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Neymar being addicted to online poker on: April 14, 2024, 09:38:08 AM
Most people get addicted with these games without any prior history of addiction because the games are designed like that to stimulate the sense and bring that dopamine rush, which if missed for the next few days brings in craving for that same stimulation.

So Neymar is not exception to that, added to it that in the recent few years, athletes have become more of cry-babies who are given almost everything they want right at the time of asking and never actually have to work for it, this type of addiction does not take much time to settle in.

Still what we need to learn from this is that family and gambling need to be kept way apart or else the former becomes dysfunctional, which we never want.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are crash games profitable??? on: April 14, 2024, 09:34:40 AM
I won in the Original game of the Stake.com Crash game before. There's a way to win against the system, it's not being greedy. When you have a faster internet you can somehow cash out faster so that you can win. Those who are satisfied with little profits can make some money here but it will really take long before you feel it.
Are you sure you are talking about the crash game, similar to the one running on bustabit and bc.game? In my opinion it is never dependent on skills but only luck, an EV- game. Try making money back from it using whatever "script" or cheat you try to find, you will lose money no matter what. Fast internet here helps to stop at the time before the crash happens but this is anecdotal, does not influence the actual game at all.

If that was the case then people will fast internet (which is almost universal now) would all have an edge over others, but that is not happening because the casinos are profiting more.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning more casinos or gamblers? on: April 14, 2024, 09:30:15 AM
Casino will gets the biggest advantage than the gamblers because the casino have the business and serves the gamblers with many gambling games.
The casino is having a house edge, that matters. In the long run the house edge's effect becomes more prominent and the total loss of the players is more than the total loss of the casino, eventually making the casino profit more and thus have a positive net output. Hence the casino business is productive in the long run and it is why people like Trump have ownerships in casinos.

Be a part of the casino if you want long term profits, being a player will only bring losses if you dont know when you need to stop gambling.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Better Money: Gold, Fiat, Or Bitcoin? on: April 13, 2024, 11:25:23 AM
Each type of asset has its pros and cons and none of them are superior than another. Since bitcoin is new to this group compared to the rest, it might be getting the maximum support in this forum, but in the outside world, this might not be the case because the forum represents a small section of the entire population of this world.

Hence my opinion is to keep all these assets in in your portfolio, no matter the cost, all are important, because you never know which one will be useful than the other. Bitcoin is not accepted or easily spendable in every country while fiat is, again fiat is affected by inflation with bitcoin is deflationary, fiat is difficult to carry but gold bars are easy to carry and have a high value.

Hence a diligent investor knows their assets and does not become partial to one.
327  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Best Crypto Investment Opportunities for Passive Income -2024 on: April 13, 2024, 10:59:00 AM
My investments on bustabit and former MoneyPot have been very much positive. Moneypot was able to turn 1BTC to 1.04 BTC in a month or so and BAB investment is ongoing with a projected interest rate of ~20% per annum as per my calculations. Short term ups and down are common but the overall graph is going upwards.

However my experience with bitvest has been poor and I seem to lose all the earned money to the commission there so I decided to pull out after a couple of months. Freebitcoin is a fixed daily interest and is the most stable of all these four.

I am not sure why you wrote "sea shells" instead of clams when addressing Just-dice's Notes though.
I miss the old crypto-games investment scheme, it was giving me 50% in a year.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading belongs to everyone? on: April 12, 2024, 03:24:39 PM
P2P trading and trading on CEXs are a bit different. The former is mostly for those who are only trying to buy/sell and not have the prospect of re-exchanging that back hoping for a multiplication of the original capital, which is true for the second one.

However long term hodl and P2P might work hand in hand to be close to trading in the long run but maybe not in the short term. I have nothing against P2P but getting trusted people to deal with is tough and bank freezes and all that are another pain in the rear.

However for those who are trading regularly, for some zero profits or even losses might continue for months, for them stopping rethinking the decision to trade for money on only trade to get the opposite asset is important.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: If being a graduate is the key to being wealthy, why are there poor graduates? on: April 12, 2024, 03:14:45 PM
There is no requirement of college degree if you are planning to move to such sectors but for other sectors which you mentioned - a college degree is must.
If you want to get up the corporate ladder, you need to have degrees and have the skills to get your side of work done too. But of course that should not be the end of the game, you should always increase your skillset and learn new skills while honing the old ones and parallelly work on your education. All this might seem difficult but is possible even at increasing age if you have have the passion and determination for the same.

While some entrepreneurs might be school dropouts, most of us dont have the brains for that. So there is no questions of not getting a college degree.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: April 12, 2024, 03:11:40 PM
But one person will flip a coin  Smiley
Did that person share their opinion about this yet? I also noted one vote on that option.

But I stick to what I said, I would run home with the one BTC provided there was no catch. While a gambler will always try to gamble and get the higher amount, me trying to be diligent and be happy with what I can get will settle for one confirmed bitcoin.

To me flipping to coin to make the decision is bullshit.

332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Upon the death of a bitcoin user. on: April 11, 2024, 09:09:29 AM
Not going into the trust/dont trust the spouse debate, but I feel LoyceV's system is pretty good or you can just teach your family members how to access and use a bitcoin wallet right away so by the time you are old enough, you can easily pass on your money to their wallets and rest easy.

I dont see much issue here, just that we have to do most of this on our own unlike in banks where there are nominees.

And please stop with the "I dont trust my wife" debate, its offtopic.
333  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 11, 2024, 09:05:25 AM
Back to topic, are you all like me refreshing Lambo page to see the Round 10 winner?
Dont worry, you are going to win it and when you do, do share the pics of the lambo with us here. Grin

As far are rolling on the site is concerned, I only roll at times to attempt to replicate my 200$ win, maybe once every few days with a big grin on my face. Other than that I just let my investment go up and focus on other work.

Every few weeks on visiting this thread and a new drama has started, LMAO
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Future of Gambling on: April 11, 2024, 09:00:29 AM
I believe that no type of casino will disappear out of nowhere.  They may even lose some users but they always come back as long as there are new things like higher odds or greater uses of balances in addition to betting, etc.
True, land based casinos and online casinos each have their own specialties and each have their own fanbase with every casino itself having its set of regular patrons. So they will continue to exist and generate money from its players while maintaining the casino culture and the antiquity of the first land based casinos.

Maybe VR, multiplayer like games and all that tech related buzz will come in but end of the day, what I have seen in technology, it all remains essentially same and the buzzwords are only there to make people hyped up.

People will continue to play on the casino like they never changed a thing.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: in future are you hoping to see some countries in Africa legalis bitcoin. on: April 10, 2024, 02:25:48 PM
In authoritarian African countries, legalizing Bitcoin may face challenges due to centralized control. However, discussions around its benefits for financial inclusion and economic growth could still emerge, influenced by factors like government attitudes towards digital currencies and financial systems.
It is bad for my fellow African members of this forum, they are trying to earn a livelihood from their earnings on this forum and working hard for the same, either freelancing on sites or doing different types of internet based work.

My suggestion is to continue your struggle and never lower your voice against such governments. Eventually they will forced to allow bitcoin usage and maybe not legalize it but allow it without asking questions.

At least its not like they are imposing 30% tax on crypto. Roll Eyes
336  Economy / Economics / Re: When luxury becomes a necessity. on: April 10, 2024, 02:22:23 PM
Luxury is never a necessity and buying a Mac laptop might seem costly but is nowhere near what luxury actually stands for. However the Apple ecosystem is built in a way that having an Apple device in the midst of non-Apple devices will lead to a lot of problems when transferring from one to another, which is a deliberate thing that their devs have created.

Anyway, being able to control your own spending is a boon and most people cannot achieve this. If you ever feel that you spent too much, let that be a lesson and eventually make your future choices reasonably.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Paper Betting- Would You Consider it if you Were to Start Sports betting Again on: April 10, 2024, 02:17:23 PM
Is this not a wasting of time? Although it could be a good way for beginners to learn about some gambling strategies without risking money but this doesn't necessarily replicate the emotional aspect of real gambling. The moment real money is involved, people's behavior can not be controlled again. I see it as a waste of time because there is no real money to be won even if you got it right on paper and sports games are not computer based games where you expect the event to repeat itself.
I appreciate your point and indeed as long as no real money is involved the impact of the game is less understood as compared to wagering money on a casino and then eventually losing it. What I feel is that it can make the person aware of how the game works and that is almost everything about it. Paper-trading on the other hand might be something that every trader needs to do in order become a future trader and not someone who goes FOMO.

It may help in diagnosing those who are prone to getting addicted, but I might be thinking longshot, professionals in these fields might have a better opinion about further research.
338  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ JacksClub.io ✨ Daily Contest with Amazing Prices | VIP Rewards | Free Faucet on: April 10, 2024, 02:10:20 PM
After losing on Round 16, I managed to win again on round 17, however it was sad to see that some of the my fellow mates on the forum could not qualify for the prize because of the minimum wagering requirement on the site. Please do get that hurdle down and come back to winning more from these predictions contests, they are free to enter and happening every week with generous rewards.

Congratulations to all those who won a prize this round, it was tough getting the correct prediction in with bitcoin swinging up and down, but thankfully we leaned on the correct side.

Edit: what I meant to say is that the participants should get these requirements completed asap and get back to these games again. Nothing against jacksclub.io, someone might misinterpret my statement.
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How far can BTC go before halving? on: April 09, 2024, 04:57:41 PM
You will be correct in multiple times because the cycles continue and people keep using the swings to make money. Another all-time-high is coming? Let it comes and we can take advantage of the price.

The halving usually sees a lot of different trends in the price. Sometimes it goes up and sometimes after the halving the price goes up. But it is not certain and thus we have some prediction games for that going on too. Grin

For now just wait till the drop stabilizes because after having dropped from 72k a lot of trading is happening.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin the best asset for investment currently? on: April 09, 2024, 04:42:04 PM
It is a good asset but the chances of spending it for daily necessities are limited in terms of the country you live in, their legal status and the availability of merchants accepting crypto.

You might even be forced to hold and not spend bitcoin because of no merchants accepting it or the government having backward policies.

Hence use fiat to spend all daily needs and store bitcoin in the background. You never know when the price of bitcoin touches 100k USD and then you will regret not having bought crypto at lower or sold early. Most of the users of this forum are hodlers and hence this sentiment and not the other will face a lot of support.
