"The comments were spot on, but a little vague." While bitcoin has created an economic network without a central authority, the chief technology officer at one of its leading development firms, VC-backed Blockstream, believes the chair of the US central bank has been largely accurate in her attempts to explain blockchain. In a morning address at CoinDesk’s Construct 2017 today, Maxwell addressed statements by Janet Yellen, commending her for acknowledging bitcoin as part of the broader blockchain conversation, even as he admitted his distaste for the broad label. http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-blockstream-greg-maxwell-blockchain-uncontrollable-noun/

Hey everyone,
Is there any company/startup outside that customers can pay for your product from the normal way(Credit Card, Paypal and other normal payment methods) and I can receive the payment as Bitcoin.
A lot of customers prefer traditional way to pay and when I say, "why don't you use Bitcoin? You can go to "x" website and buy some bitcoins" but you know, since they don't know anything about Bitcoin, they get scared or lazy and they don't do it.
maybe in future bitpay can do it. now bitcoin support to everyone accept bitcoin as payment processor but he receive it "in dollar". so he didnt afraid about bitcoin price. i want to ask some question, where you come from? any local online exchanger support api key? if enable to receive 'custom deposit" you can use your plan to receive in bitcoin.

Hi friends,
As far as I know, bitcoin payments take a little time to approve. Will these approval times make it difficult to use bitcoin in our daily lives? For example, I would get a coffee from Starbucks. Do I have to wait for approval to pay for what I have done for hours?
we need 3rd aplication to use bitcoin at daily life. but totally we can't use bitcoin. we must exchange our bitcoin to make it accepted, because the bitcoin merchands is only few place avaible.

Bitcoin wallet provider Xapo said it has received conditional approval from Switzerland's financial market watchdog to operate in the country in a regulatory breakthrough for companies that provide safekeeping for the virtual currency. "After almost two years of substantial effort and investment, Xapo has received conditional approval from the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) to operate in Switzerland," Xapo CEO Wences Casares said in a blog on the company's website. The approval depended on several factors, including membership of a "self-regulatory organization," Casares said, but added that the company was optimistic of meeting the conditions and being able to serve non-U.S. customers from Switzerland. http://fortune.com/2017/01/27/bitcoin-firm-switzerland/

For a multi card rig, the safest is one card one, one separate molex power feed from the power supply.
I only double up the HDD and one GPU.
the problem is not all psu have more slot, some psu have only 2-3 slot to sata power. i found this cable , i think this will help to better cable management ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fecs7.tokopedia.net%2Fimg%2Fproduct-1%2F2016%2F11%2F22%2F3279081%2F3279081_8f7d0da1-f6ac-4c82-85d2-c8591ec3afe4.jpg&t=663&c=gvZI0vjY91H9Yg) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fecs7.tokopedia.net%2Fimg%2Fproduct-1%2F2016%2F11%2F22%2F3279081%2F3279081_4fe97ff2-5c64-461c-87f9-ae9c4ce615ea.jpg&t=663&c=qaBzYDbFgpb7FQ) im buying new riser use 6pin power. hope this can solve the rail problem

thanks I like to keep my stuff private thats why I ask
If you want to stay private (or even if you don't, for that matter), do not use coinbase or blockchain for your transactions or storage. They are virtual banks, they give you an account, but don't give you private keys, they control the coins. They can impose spend limits, freeze your account, or even confiscate your balance. They also ask for your ID, so you can't be anonymous, and all your transactions are tied to your name. Use mobile or desktop wallet for transactions (e.g. Electrum, Mycelium), and paper wallets for storage. If you don't want Big Brother to trace you, use a mix before sending to your wallet. If you don't have sole and complete control over the private keys, you don't have bitcoin.i think tracking who sender bitcoin, and who the receive bitcoin is not easy as you think, im using xapo bitcoin wallet , of course i can't control my bitcoin, but it's not easy to someone track my Tx. the address of bitcoin can't give you more information like ip address, who am i etc. for truly untracable transaction, im recomended to using Zcash shielded transaction no people can trace where you get your zcash and where you send your zcash

i have experience to instal more than 6vga in 1 motherboard, but it's not easy as you think. if you want to buy extra pci card, i m sugestion to safe your money and buy new "lowest 2nd motherboard" im using super cheap ecs motherboard price only $20- $30 (include processor) and its working perfect to mining ethereum (not zcash).

some day ago i got a problem in my zcash rig, only 1vga showing from total 4vga, can't showing my 3vga, trying to check anything, any cable its woking perfect, then im trying to put my vga directly on motherboard not using pcie riser, and the vga normally working perfect. so im check the power supply and i found this ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fs30.postimg.org%2F5pjv23z67%2F16196090_1283195021739289_33018080495558933_n.jpg&t=663&c=xhAStTaCf75bIA) 1 of my pcie (sata pin connector) get charred and brokken after i force to take the cable, and the cable is burned out. im still happy other pin stil working perfect. for all miner i recomendation some instruction : 1. dont use 1 pin cable for supply more than 2 sata pcie riser 2. don't use low power supply to supply pcie riser, even if you use other big power supply to give power vga. Thanks

Bitcoin’s awareness continues to increase in China as the new digital currency becomes prime subject of debate in China’s “most cutting-edge and most influential financial talk show,” a highly popular national TV segment with millions of viewers who are mostly in the high-income and highly educated demograhic. The topic of debate is “Bitcoin, fortune maker or Ponzi scheme?” featuring professor Larry Hsien Ping Lang, described as China’s most influential economist. A controversial figure in the country who considers bitcoin worthless. In 2014, after the price of the digital currency reached new highs with Baidu, China’s google, having previously announced they are willing to accept bitcoin payments, Lang famously refused 100 bitcoins offered by Bobby Lee, CEO of BTC China, now worth some $90,000, while discussing bitcoin on his show. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-featured-chinas-influential-tv-show/

Has the bitcoin system ever been hacked until now? Is there any security vulnerability in the Bitcoin system up to now?
bitcoin is the safest currency in the world, no central office, no central database. but its depending of our system too, our security too. if we can't save our bitcoin at safe place, its easy to lost our bitcoin too. its like we have bank at our wallet.
