321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO and BOunty will End? on: July 13, 2018, 03:56:00 AM
With all due respect, i think i have a contrast opinion on that. Because in the first place, how can an Initial Coin Offering be at some point be successful if they don't have bounty to run? It's one of the effective way to reach their target (soft or hard cap). In the other hand, ICO is already a mainstream and that people are used to it as an investment already.

There are ICOs that didn't have a bounty but they become successful because they just spend their funds in other marketing strategies. However, I think the best way would be to have a bounty program because many people are willing to advertise their project to gain more exposure. As for OPs question of running out of ideas, I don't think people will run out of ideas because there are always innovations that would happen so an ICO would always be launch unless the government would restrict it totally.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Most ICO don't show the investment wallet address? on: July 13, 2018, 03:41:47 AM
Yes, this is also a problem for most ICO projects today. Angry
I think most ICO projects are hype at present, and the funds raised have not been disclosed.

It is like deceiving the investors when they don't provide the address of where the funds they collected are stored and claiming that they have raised such funds. I think this should be the requirement when they state that and show proof that they have receive such amount. Most are in ETH and BTC though so it is traceable. I have joined one bounty and proudly claimed that they have raised thousands of ETH on presale and reach softcap but when ask where is the proof and address, they wouldn't say it and always saying that they will reveal it soon. It's clearly a scam.

324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about airdrop that required apps install? on: July 12, 2018, 03:47:22 AM
I don't recommend downloading apps that don't have trustable authors. Bounty tokens doesn't worth being hacked.

I am also cautious when it comes to downloading some apps to receive some tokens. I have seen a lot of times that some people would download apps and later on being hacked. I only choose those airdrops that only require an ethereum address because at least I don't need to download anything. I only choose the airdrops that I join though because there are times when the team is scam and just want to have any information like e-mail address to sell it to other people that needs the addresses.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is bounty programs to the overall success of icos? on: July 12, 2018, 03:23:22 AM
Is bounty programs impacting negatively or positively to the success of icos?

Bounty programs are double edged sword. Some would not have bounty program because they knew that bounty hunters would dump the tokens upon listing in exchanges and it would discourage some investors however bounties are great help so that the project would gain more exposure. Some ICOs though do not need the bounties when there are so many investors who are interested in the project that it would not even last a day and they would reach the hardcap.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should write about our successes to increase Bitcoin adoption on: July 12, 2018, 03:09:44 AM
That could be the best way to encourage others to adopt the systen we're involved. Those success that we can give them are just examples of bitcoin's greatness. The inspiration that we can give them will surely convince others to start bitcoin. In fact many wantswant to believe what they see so it's our job to be example for them.

People like those rags to riches story so it would make them be interested in bitcoin. We should start to spread more positive vibes about bitcoin because most likely those people only knew it through news and we know that news stories are mostly negative so it would discourage them. The disadvantage of this when people knew that you are successful in cryptocurrencies is that you might endanger your life because people knew you have money and might become a target for the criminals.

328  Economy / Economics / Re: "10 Common Mistakes We make with MONEY" on: July 11, 2018, 03:50:53 AM
Mistake 8: Never you borrow money that accrues interest to start a business. That will put you undue pressure as you will be working to service the debt and the accrued interest for a long period of time. It could be frustrating especially if things are not as perfect as you would have predicted.

This is not applicable all the time because there are times when you don't have a choice but to borrow money even if it has an interest because you cannot start your business if you don't have any capital. You just have to plan properly as to how you will pay back your debt and have a schedule or at least a back up plan in case the business goes wrong. Find an extra income then and do every thing you can to pay your interest. You may have a hard time at first but then you will be able to get through it with proper financial management.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not expect something from ICOs till btc to FLY on: July 11, 2018, 03:35:14 AM
Today we can see a lot of ICO struggling for financing, some of them even canceling or delaying. A lot of old Altcoin have seen bottom , new ones even under ico price.
When we look at the history of ICOs we notice  they start collecting money like 2016 they rise till the end of 2017 and falling in 2018 just like the btc. It is obvious they follow btc wave. So do not expect too much things from ICOs, tokens, altcoins. There is likely more than a year for  btc  to gather strength, same for ICOs.

Most likely this would be the case for most ICOs because there are also ICOs that are not affected by it and reach hardcap because their project can solve a problem that is needed in our society today or in cryptocurrencies market. Some ICOs though that has the same concept as the old ones already launch are having a hard time raising funds because some investors are not keen yet to invest as they are waiting for bitcoin price to recover. Many ICOs last year lost 90% of its value being launch when bitcoin price is high and maybe be able to recover when bitcoin recover itself.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we don't get quality Bitcoin users anymore? on: July 11, 2018, 03:20:38 AM
In this world, money comes first before knowledge. I know everyone is smart here so they chase the profit. What's important is we support bitcoin and we just leave the experienced devs the technical aspects and let them do where they are good at. And bitcoin users needs to be just basic consumers so why the hell it needs quality.

The point of OP is that people are just buying and selling bitcoin for profits without even knowing the purpose or basics of bitcoin. If we wanted to keep people getting interested in it then they should at least know why bitcoin has that value and why it is in demand. You may just be interested for the money but as for me, I am interested in knowledge too because if each of us would help in introducing to the people who has misconceptions about bitcoin or doesn't know about bitcoin then it would add to the demand and its value would be sustained. We are always talking about mass adoption but we don't act like we want it.

332  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trust you trading experience and don't panic on: July 10, 2018, 05:35:07 AM
experience is your best teacher who can give you a profit and you right i think trade experience is more important and more valuable than others the rest is good luck

Somehow you need to experience losing so that you will know how harsh this market can be. Experience is necessary so that you will know yourself as to how much loss can you take and if you are really a risk taker because this market is not for those people who wanted to stay in their comfort zone. Market is so volatile that one minute you are at a profit the next you are at a loss so you need to have a trading plan and an experience for you to survive and be profitable whatever the market condition is.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain help eliminate the basic problems in the world? on: July 10, 2018, 05:25:21 AM
Poverty, legal identity etc. are major concerns in the third-world countries. Data says one-third of children in the world still lack legal identity (sourced from Informationweek). Poverty and lack of food still kill thousands of people. Can Blockchain put an end to all this?

Blockchain cannot eliminate it as there are always ways for people who wanted to do illicit activities that has a contribution as to why there are more poor people or shall I say the poor getting poorer and the rich getting richer. Blockchain can at least lessen it like when it comes to transparency, people can track the funds thereby reduction of fraud because some would not attempt to do it due to being tracked and caught in what they are doing.
334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient or take a risk for money??? on: July 10, 2018, 05:19:45 AM
Hey guys, there is a time that it comes to my mind that what should i do, wait for a long time or we can say hold for now or take a risk and grab the opportunity to have a money in your hands???
What do you think guys??

It depends on your plan. If you don't need the money now and you think that it will increase in the near future then just hold your coins but if you need money then you have a choice to just sell it and maybe withdraw some and then wait for the price to go down and buy again so that you can have the same amount of coins.

I just wanted to advice to take some profit if there is an opportunity because we never know what will happen so if you have profit then take some and maybe reinvest it or just find another income opportunity not crypto related so that you will have diversified source of income.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: July 10, 2018, 04:54:40 AM
I believe that people should not rely more on predictions or speculations since there is no definite assurance
that guarantee it will increase the price immediately. It's better that you should be observant on the current market trend and study its pattern on your own.

Other people's idea of the market is a guide as well for you to know the market sentiment so that you can act upon it. You do not need to necessarily follow their suggestions but instead you will know what they think about it and then assess it yourself if it is align with your trading plan. There is also an advantage of taking a look at other's speculation because you can have a different perspective that may be helpful for your trades and learn from it as well.

337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any chance to pump eth value? on: July 09, 2018, 03:12:52 AM
Their is a big chance to pump eth this year. We can observe that ethereum has many users and still many who holds ethereum. So I can see the big chances to earned in ethereum and a big chances to pump the value.

Yes there is always a chance and not just ethereum but all coins so to speak has a chance of being pumped. We don't know what will happen in the future so if ever some whales or some institution perhaps wanted that coin then they would buy it along with news manipulation so that people would have fomo and that would be the time the price would pump. If you can remember ripple months ago, so many people are saying that it's impossible for it to reach $1 because of the market supply but it even reach $2 so when it comes to crypto prices, expect the unexpected.
338  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does IQ greatly affect a person's success in trading? on: July 09, 2018, 02:53:03 AM
I dont think it affect a persons success in trading, but if you really are driven to strive hard and willing to pearn new things especially in trading then you’d be successful. And I dont think there are any person who joined the cryptocurrency without an IQ, how did he/she got to this point if they dont have an IQ right?

A high IQ does not guarantee a profitable trading but at least you should understand how trading works. Even if you are a little slow when it comes to absorption of knowledge but then when you understand it, you retain it and then work hard to achieve what you wanted then you will become profitable even if you have a lower IQ. If you base it on being successful, not every one who has first rank in your school when you graduate has become successful because when you are already in real life, it is all about working or trading smart not just in theories but in executing it.
339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is a constant rise in the price of Bitcoin, important? on: July 09, 2018, 02:11:32 AM
people wants to earn a huge amount of profit and because of that, bitcoins should increase even more in the future in order for people to get ROI in their investments.

If people wants to earn huge in such a volatile market then they should know when to take profits. The problem is that some are hoping for a continuous increase in price and when its price dump, that's the time they would panic. One should take profit when the market is still green. Well that's the nature of people sometimes because we are an emotional being so when there are panic sellers, we tend to panic too and sell. Just like what OP said, one should take profit from time to time so that we are sure that we can have ROI even if we hold the asset for long term.
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: if you want to learn how to trade then start NOW on: July 08, 2018, 03:36:42 AM
This is the advice I took a few weeks back, and it's been a good experience.  Just take a bit of whatever bag you hold and start to move it around.  I've primarily been buying/selling the same coin (RVN/BTC), but have gone between LTC as well to trade out of exchanges (as BTC fees are usually much higher).  Good luck and just remember you have to start somewhere!

You just need to start trading and stop procrastinating and dreaming of having good profits. We all start somewhere and for those people who are always advising to just invest because it is risky to trade then they should at least try right? When you are too afraid to get out of your comfort zone then you will not be able to discover the other talents that you have that may bring you to being financially free. Just explore and do not be afraid to lose because in losing, you will gained lessons to be profitable in the future if you learn from it.
