322  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe racism has come to stay!! ? on: January 09, 2023, 11:56:02 AM
Agree! The United States always upholds the slogan of human rights, many people say that in the US human rights or human freedom always come first. But according to me, those things are ingrained in their minds and it's like a genetic disease that can't be completely cured and evils like racism that will never go away in their country.

Racism, and discrimination against women, and LGBT will always exist in this world, as long as people are greedy and jealous, these stories of discrimination will never disappear.
Instilling it in their minds is a result of family, community orientation, and education. Racism is controlled by some communities by indiscriminate punishment of the guilty; citizens have an easy time understanding the Government's views on racism and can exploit them. Black race seem to be most recipient of racism, it even comes from the Northern Africans. Education, strong ethics, and hard work should be the cornerstones of black culture to improve their future perceptions.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stage on: October 27, 2022, 11:34:29 AM
It is an important night for Atletico Madrid. Because their fate in the group depends on getting a win against Leverkusen tonight.

They are two points behind Porto in the group now. Porto are going to play their match earlier by the way and it is an away one against Club Brugge. Atletico Madrid must be hoping Porto to lose points there. If Porto and Atletico Madrid both win then the last week is going to be really problematic for Atletico Madrid. Because they have an away match against Porto then. They defeated Porto before maybe but it was a really difficult win at the same time. As you can remember, they scored two goals in the stoppage time. This time they might not get that lucky. Therefore Atletico Madrid had better get ahead of them by the end of this week.  Smiley

1.60 for Atletico Madrid win is a nice odd to take advantage of.
The only performing team in laliga is Real Madrid. Who could have thought Club brugge will sit in the top place in the group. I think Diego Simeone needs to take some time away from coaching to refresh himself. He is a good but has lost touch and required passion for competing football
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No doubt POS is centralized on: September 20, 2022, 10:20:52 PM
And those two addresses if their stake their ethereum in the network pool then there can control the transaction, that is the irony of the whole situation, the proof of stake network will only make ethereum more centralized and control is given to the big bag holders in the network.

We will see more of these kinds of addresses that are contending to control the network popping up as time goes on because coinbase is an exchange so other big exchanges like Binance will join the list of ethereum holders competing for control of the network pool.
this is the second thread on the forum discussing this topic. Is this from other top coin maximalist. Ethereum is unlimited in mining although other idea now make it deflationary. However, the 40% held by the 2 exchanges are less than 5% of the whole market, so it means the percentage is significantly high to dictate the price and other decision of the coin. This staked portion does not look like it can be moved they can only benefit in the reward
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Education on: September 20, 2022, 09:52:33 PM
Basically both are equally important and as long as we can have education as well as skills why not,
because by having both of course it will help each other,
The most important thing is always trying to be the best
A civilized community always demand certification for whatever claim of education you have acquired before you are hired. Most of this decisions stem from from encounters and experiences, we cant rule exceptions with people and deviant, when we have to face the law we have to present ourselves to have done the needful before hiring not to get guilty. So for whatever acceptable education or skill get it certified
326  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 20, 2022, 07:29:30 AM
I also create a focused work space by finding friends (3-4) who work remotely and stay close to me to share a workspace with. To help us stay focused and create a productive working environment for each other, I suggested that we switch homes every week. Taking short breaks is difficult when working together, but doing so together encourages focus
327  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Queen Dies at the age of 96 on: September 19, 2022, 05:47:30 PM
The Queen ruled more than expected of her. Ruling for 70 years in England means that she ruled well and the people of England were on good terms with her and they enjoyed her ruling over them. Unfortunately, death can't be overruled when it comes knocking at your death. If it was, the queen's royal family would have bought it with money.

The only bad remark about Queen Elizabeth from some African countries is that she ruled and regarded them as slaves.
Do you think she would have been "ousted" if she ruled "badly"?

With the current modern politics, Kingdoms and monarchies seem obsolete and have little impact on citizens in terms of laws and how they are governed, yet locals still tend to have high respect for the kings, queens and chiefs. I have seen this first hand when I moved around different countries that still have Kingdoms, Chiefdoms and monarchies.
There are lots of unwritten laws in Britain and some that are not open to the public. I knew after Boris resignation that those that came up for the post as foreigner wont be elected. The monarch role is silent and royal, she approves the prime minister, open new government session and give royal approval to bill which passes it as a law. A king has dismissed the prime minister in the pass and laws were rejected but not any more, the Monarch role has not changed that much in Dubai even with modernization
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Merge Success on: September 19, 2022, 11:04:28 AM
bitcoin and ethereum are and will remain two different things bitcoin was the first altcoin and will always remain pow, yes the merge of eth was a success but this led to a greater centralization the 40% of the stake is in the hands of only two addresses that will make the good and the bad weather
Bitcoin was the first coin and never part of altcoins (i.e alternative coin to bitcoin). 4 big exchanges (Lido, Kraken, coinbase and binance) make over 60% of the staked ethereum, they are the top exchanges in the space and I believe they wont be careless enough to just un-stake and sell anyhow. At the moment less than 14% ethereum is staked, so we got a lot in circulation. So staking the coin does not make it as centralized as u put it
329  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Cryptocurrency Courses for Beginners on: September 18, 2022, 05:44:06 PM
The course looks insufficient for recent knowledge on Cryptocurrency. I am more interested in Blockchain engineering, which looks like the high income program in cryptocurrency recently. I like to know any new online website for this topic with minimal fee, provide certification that can provide a remote job for anyone. This site should have provision for progress from beginner to intermediate and advanced
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you stake stablecoins now? on: September 18, 2022, 02:27:27 PM
I don't think staking in stablecoins is worth it anymore, about 1 month ago I withdraw all my investment in stablecoin binance-usdt. not without reason, in my opinion with 10%-15% APY offered but with a fairly large initial fund, I think it is more to be used for other investments that can take bigger profits.

maybe this is not good advice but maybe it can be considered.
Lets be sincere with ourselves with the current market, which cryptocurrency investment is safer? Not any of the volatile coin are capable of defending the risk of investing.10-15% APY for a stable coin is a smart decision and if we still expect a leg down in bitcoin, we can make the profit from our less risk stable coin to take a position then. More also your money is not safer in the bank, so consider your options very well
331  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-09-15] In the US conservationists want BTC to switch to PoS too on: September 16, 2022, 11:47:36 PM
I dont think the protest will succeed, Ethereum is at another level and I think it needs it more than Bitcoin. Ethereum has fewer developers than bitcoin with sole developers that can make unanimous decision. More so ethereum has unlimited supply of coin and many more problems to resolve, from high transaction fee, token economics etc
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC or Gold Investment? on: September 16, 2022, 10:43:04 PM
To me both look good, investing in gold first or BTC later, but I'm confused by the current market conditions especially in terms of ROI, who is the fastest to move on?
The understanding of diversification is important in investment. It protects investment and can manage risk, more also not all investment can survive modernization, so diversification can help to get into the next level of investment. Gold has lower risk and it remain asset with great liquidity, not only Gold but many other precious stone. Real estate and stock exchange are other asset base on understanding of every country. Financial advisers are available in many countries that can be contacted for idea on investment, most importantly hold enough fiat in Dollar and Pounds
333  Other / Politics & Society / Re: To the results of the Russian-Ukrainian war on: September 16, 2022, 10:35:53 PM
At the present time (time stamp) it seems that Russia is being pushed towards war. She has had some recent setbacks. They aren't anything more than seriously annoying.

All Russia wanted to do was free trade with other nations. But other rich nations are stopping her free trade (if they can). So, what steps will Russia take to continue her fair trade with other nations? It should be interesting.

Oh, they are not good, they do not want to trade with Russia. Well, then what, trade with others, what's the problem? You won't be forced to be nice. Or am I wrong?  Tell me, please, who is pushing Russia to war?
Ukraine is the grass for the elephant's fight. Russia still keep their big allies like Iran, China, India etc, these are no small countries. At a point Russia even gave China a discount for the crude oil sold to them. Now Iran is sending drones, weapon and soldiers to Russia to fight the war. Germany insisted on trading with Russia irrespective of the notion of other countries because they need their crude oil and there is no other place to get it, so not all countries are having trade war with Russia, Russia is the one punishing them
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Will Go Parabolic on: September 15, 2022, 12:44:17 PM
if you look at it, the current crypto market is determined by the price of bitcoin itself, so just focus on the price of bitcoin even though I see the graph it will see the altcoin market recovering, but we are back again on the price of bitcoin
To add to it, the price of bitcoin cant go parabolic until after the halving. Ethereum is 20% of the marketcap while Bitcoin is about the double of it, it is a very good achievement for ethereum to stay this high at this time in the bear. Now the merge is done, which I think is the great biggest news of development in the space this year, lets see what goes ahead with the price and other altcoins. According to willy woo, the previous features of the market bottom had not reached but we are very close.
335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Become A Profitable Trader with stop loss and trailing stop loss on: September 15, 2022, 10:55:41 AM

Speaking of DEX, stop losses on most of DEX are available. This is one of the best features that can exchange have.
Names of Dexes with stop-loss for ethereum, bsc, matic and solana blockchain please
336  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Queen Dies at the age of 96 on: September 14, 2022, 11:04:18 PM
I wonder how would the UK be without the Queen and how are they gonna be with their new King. it's really rare to have this kind of scenario because we've been used to having the Queen of Britain for a time and now the change will occur maybe not now but in the upcoming months or years. As we know some British doesn't want Charles to be the King but let's just give the man a chance to prove himself and regain his honor with his new obligation to the Kingdom.
People will adjust the same way they adjusted when a king died in the past. The monarch system is not as sovereign as it used to be, which could be a distraction until we get used to it. King Charles is not strange or hidden before now, thats makes it easy to adjust to and I think as a younger man he will be more relevant and active than the queen at her old age
337  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Queen Dies at the age of 96 on: September 13, 2022, 08:47:06 PM
Queen by at age of 96 years and some people are weeping crying about her death why in my country the death of Queen shall be celebrated like a ceremony because of her age it is very difficult before you can see someone in my country especially in my region that will be old or older than 70 years before death but Queen die at age of 96 remaining four years to be hundred years and people are still crying for her;
I think is more of culture, thats is the way it is being done
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Price To Buy Ethereum on: September 13, 2022, 08:46:02 PM
Ethereum was dumped down to 950$ in latest Bear market and now it's trading 2x from that price. My question is , what is best price to buy ? Buy now or wait to down 600$?

That was a good price to buy Grin The probability of seeing Ethereum at $600 now has the same percentage as seeing bitcoin at $6,000. Theoretically it is possible, but in fact there is almost no chance, unless of course there is a critical failure in Ethereum blockchain after the transition to PoS. So it is possible to wait for such low prices indefinitely and in the end not to wait at all. I think a good range for buying Ethereum right now is $1000-1200.
Just exactly my thought, at the present price and development on ethereum its difficult to dump below 1k. It is doing better that bitcoin with the market dip. I just like to know when the ethereum will start unstake, it might be a critical time and I hope they do it early
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Overcome a Bear Market in Cryptocurrency on: September 13, 2022, 08:14:07 PM
Accumulate potential altcoins little by little with a good volume that is obtained every day and also many traders buy and hold them. This is
just what those who have been in this cryptocurrency industry for a long time often do.

And the potential cryptos in my opinion that are good to save our Bitcoin, of course, Polygon, Cardano, Ethereum, Solana, Shiba Inu, Bnb,
Ripple, and Tron. These are just a few of the ones I see that are good to stock up on as we face the current bear market season.
Most of the idea on this thread are used by newbies and small traders in cryptocurrency. The big traders dont do anything crypto in the bear market. They only look for the bottom and buy cryptocurrency then move to their wallets, not even exchange, they just Hodl. I have not been trading in the last 8 months and feel those coin that have lost value should just be left there, it may not be the best idea but the safest. Work at this time and put a percentage of you income monthly in stable coins. Wait till we find another bottom then start with Bitcoin, ethereum and BNB, they are safest coins at the moment that can start the bull market. Then you move your initial profit from this coins into crowdfund or new startup
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Become A Profitable Trader with stop loss and trailing stop loss on: September 12, 2022, 11:15:38 PM
Traders doesn’t focus that much with the fees, they are too focus analyzing the chart and knowing their positions. If you really want to be good in trading and want to be more profitable, start doing the right thing like learning how indicators work, knowing when to buy and sell are very common and with that you can just cover those fees from your winning trades. Regardless if its free or not, that can’t still change your trading skills, better to improve it first.
Traders focus more on strategies, charts and fundamentals and not on fees. Before you start trading you should make good research about the good exchange based on security first and then fees can come in.
Responding about the stop lost discovery of Op, I have been using that strategy but I was hit some time when I believed that there is more to stop loss than traders know and I have stopped using stop loss.
The way people talk about stop loss, one will think it is the safest strategy in cryptocurrency. Their are some intricacies in the use of stop loss that people don't always mention. This leave you behind when the market is bullish and have a slight correction. so users will know how to select price for the trade when there is loss in the market. So what happens to traders that use DEXes often where there is no stop loss and there is high trade?
