I've tried pushpool - works, but does not support stratum poolserverj - does not work out of the box, due to GetBlockCount(or GetBlockNumber) is obsolete, also latest source does not match latest relased binary, eventually I got it to "work", but several miners experienced issues with long polling p2pool - works, except it publishes stats on the public IP/port, I've modified code a bit so it does not; So.. I choose p2pool.
also there is Eloipool and ecoinpool, Eloi looks like it is maintaned, have not tried it cause did not have CentOS/RHEL SSH access at that time.

1) pcie provides +12v, the more cards you have the more strain you put on motherboard. 2) unpowered riser - the longer the cable, the more resistance, more rsistance, more heat - burns)
powered risers solve those 2 issues.

different OSes/ GPUs/CPUs/miners/skin colour/religion/some lie there...
the point, you need to find settings which will suit ur system the best youself..

right a lot of ppl us i20, but one of my cards is working slower with intensity above 13. And on all others with intensity over ~15 gui locks up and hashrate is not that higher.
Anyway, since you can change intensity when cgminer is running I suggest you start with I 11.

if you arrange teamviewer/vnc I can take a look)

Better to find reason why does it stop in the first place. I bet you have bad hardware/software configuration.
right, didn't think about price of zifs.
I'm comfortable to solder the chips to the board myself, ofc I'll burn some, but I'm getting better with it ; ) For me DIY is - blank board + chips + SMDs --soldering--> throw it out of the window --> repeat until it works ; )

..I'm thinking to switch to p2pool. Currently have all my workers stopped, just not to mine at notroll(sadly..) Any suggestions on why should not I use p2pool? Or maybe s1 can recommend stable EU pool?

wow, advertising mining hardware which even can't mine enough to pay for electricity.. that's rich ; )
The point is to keep all your funds in one place. For some ppl it is easier to maintain/secure/backup one BTC address not a thousand. However it is much easier/safer to receive payments on multiple addresses.

Now of course there is no rule against owning more than one wallet, but there have been millions, if not billions in money worth of bitcoin transactions which suggests that a lot of people own a few or a reasonable amount of bitcoins rather than a few own a lot.
It does not suggest anything cause - Now of course there is no rule against owning more than one wallet F.e. I have more than a thousand addresses.

I think at this point it is fair to say that most of the people moved to Bitcoin to manipulate/test/etc. Maybe ~1% uses it as currency to pay for services.

How long will it take me to generate a block?No-one can say exactly. There is a generation calculator that will tell you how long it might take.
What if I'm 1% towards calculating a block and...?There's no such thing as being 1% towards solving a block. You don't make progress towards solving it. After working on it for 24 hours, your chances of solving it are equal to what your chances were at the start or at any moment. Believing otherwise is what's known as the Gambler's fallacy [1].
It's like trying to flip 53 coins at once and have them all come up heads. Each time you try, your chances of success are the same. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Blocks#How_long_will_it_take_me_to_generate_a_block.3FSo.. mining at slush's pool also is a gamble. Just it is "more stable" gamlbe ; ) And since p2pool overall hashrate is not so big, the stats could look bizzare. Right? What I don't get is Lets assume there are only two miners in the network miner#1 has 10000GHs and miner#2 has 1Hs and some calculator tells that miner#2 supposed to mine a block in a 24hours. Now, since each block is created every 10 minutes(in our case miner#1 will generate them) and after each new block the work should be restarted, is it fair to say that miner#2 never generates a block?

How can we know that USD isn't controlled by only a few who have lots of them?
We KNOW that it IS controlled by few, thats old news! one of them is The Flying Spaghetti Monster ; ) Amen! HE BOILED FOR OUR SINS!!!

I prefer stock(reference) hardware with custom cooling(I prefer Accelero) and/or some BIOS/hard/soft mods. Usually it takes ~4h to figure out the best solution for each particular piece of harware.

afaik, no way without some soldering.
