321  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What exchanges will survive? on: March 12, 2018, 09:39:37 PM
poloniex of course.

that's been bought out by circle who have goldman sachs backing, among many others, plus the SEC okayed the sale.

Honestly, Poloniex is one of the biggest platfrom of trading on the internet, It used by a thousand of users. I think it will survive because it have a good reputation and I already used it for a couple of weeks, I never found any problem, All my transactions done quickly like a charm, I don't know a lot of exchanger, but I already have a look at bittrex, it's seems a good exchanger too, I think these 2 that I mentioned will survive for sure.

323  Economy / Marketplace / Re: List of stuff you can use bitcoin for. on: March 12, 2018, 09:11:54 PM
This list could be much bigger than it is now, given the increasing number of retailers which are beginning to accept BTC as a means of payment.I'll write some of them now,but with time I will probably also remember some others.

I'll do my best to keep the list updated and follow the news, I was planning to make a list as personal reference, but then thought of sharing it with the community.
Thank you for sharing these good sites. It's a great topic and very informative, I hope that you can add more and make some updates every period. I know a few of these sites, and I enjoyed seeing in which way can I use my bitcoin for the sites that I don't know. Keep updating this topic, and I am sure that you can be awarded by a lot of merit points as the idea is very good.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to recognize scam on: March 12, 2018, 09:04:07 PM
To recognize scam, do not be in a hurry to invest, Be patient enough to do you research about the project, check through several ICO review spreadsheet, check trhough about what the project is all about, details about the team and there past track record. Check through there social media platform and observe comment from investors. Do not invest base on followers on social media platform, invest because you have done your detailed research.
That's right, I think if you are smart enough, you can recognize if the ICO is scam or not. There are a lot of factors, from them you can know if the project is legit and good or the inverse. People should read carefully the purpose of the project and do some research about it, I mean about the team, people reviews, the look of their website, the professional side,... and many other things, then you can have a better idea about it and decide if you will invest and trust in it or not.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as your main income? on: March 12, 2018, 08:47:46 PM
Bitcoin is not my main source of income, it only gives me an extra income. It have permanent job that support my family's daily basic needs. Profits I gained from bitcoin is for other expenses and savings for my children's future.
Same here bro, I don't think that bitcoin should be the main source of income because it can happen a problem one day to bitcoin, and it will be destroyed, which It is unlikely to happen, but you should avoid any risk, and consider it like an extra job to get some money, not your real one. People should get a real job, and guaranteed that they can offer what they need for his family, and then anyone can think about to get an extra money from bitcoin.
326  Other / Meta / Re: Here is the quality of posts after merit system on: March 11, 2018, 10:23:08 PM
The merit system cannot stop people who post shit but of course this new system are limiting them to rank higher so they cannot join campaign and no increase in the payout. Basically if all campaign required merit system, its hard now to be part of it. Time will come, and those shitposter will make a lot of effort just to have merit in order for them to survive.
That's true that the merit system can't stop anyone from posting shit posts, but they limit them to rank higher. The majority of shit posters are Full members and bellow, So the best thing to do is to require some merit points to join any signature campaign, because not all people deserve to promote a campaign with shitposting.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing still worth in Crypto? on: March 11, 2018, 09:56:21 PM
For sure investing into cryptos is still a good ideea as long as you know in what are you investing and you can have patience long enough to see the project to succed. If you follow this simply steps then for sure you will have good rewards.
You are right, Investing in crypto is a good choice to make money as long as you choose carefully which one worth investing in it, because there is a lot of crypto which scams, they pump only for one time because of the fund of owners, people think that is a very great coin, but then it will disappear, But if you are smart and have a good knowledge you can make a huge amount of money from investing in other crypto.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: March 11, 2018, 09:05:56 PM
Sucide aren't much as op mentioned the issue is only addiction they keep on borrowing and finally they spend rest of their life repaying all the debts and unfortunately even their family has to suffer , quiting gambling isn't hard it's all about forgetting the past and having self control it's easy to say but unless there isn't any initiative from our side change can't take place
I agree with you, To quit gambling addiction, you should have a strong heart and you believe in yourself. That's true that is too hard, but if you have a faith to quit it and you have the initiative from your side, you can quit it. Self controling is too hard/easy for some gamblers, It depends how the gambler think and what is his goal from gambling.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: best sport betting site? on: March 11, 2018, 08:54:17 PM
In my opinion planetwin365 is the best. In this gambling site, everything is clear and good. All possible choices exist there. ALso, there is also a bonus gain depending on the money value that you did bet and how much risk is in your bet. Try it , you won't regret

I already tried this site, It's one of the best amazing gambling sites in the internet. It's too easy to use and the most important thing is you can choose hundreds of choices in each event, So everything you want, you find it there regarding sports betting, In addition, planetwin365 offer bonus for each bet you do, sometimes the bonus can reach a high amount without even need the real amount of wine.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling addiction a disease? on: March 11, 2018, 08:46:56 PM
Yes it is, I know a few people who suffer for it, and it hurts not only the one who gamble but their entire family.
I agree with you, Gambling addiction is too dangerous and we can call it a disease, A lot of people around the world suffer from it, They lose a lot of precious things because of it, They have a lot of troubles with their families and have a lot of financial problems. I know a few of them has reached the situation to sale their own property like car and home to play gambling.
331  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does signature campaign really help to promote an ICO ? on: March 10, 2018, 10:46:30 PM
I know signature campagns exists on this forum for very log time . I was wondering , do they really help to promote ICO , i know they spend a lot of money to pay bitcointalk members to wear their singatures and make posts . Do they really make profit out of this ?
Of course they benefit too much from promoting their project in the bitcointalk forum. Most of them succeeded if they begin with a great idea and a large budget. People promote campaigns over all the forums, so each single day there is a thousand of people see their sites by clicking on the signature of anyone in the campaign. As the forums had more than 1 million members, ICO project will have more views each day, and then a lot of people will invest in it.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Big budget versus Great idea. Who eventually wins? on: March 10, 2018, 10:35:14 PM
of course, with a large budget, you can prepare some things for marketing and can make the idea that "ordinary" to "extraordinary" because it has a good preparation
That's true, Large budget makes your project more successful and profitable if it has a great idea to develop. I know some ICO, they begin with a large budget they made a very great project like VLB. So to be honest, if you have a large budget, and work hard with a great team, your project will succeed as you can make any idea extraordinary because of the good preparation as you said.
333  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What's the situation with Bitcoins privacy/anonymity? on: March 10, 2018, 10:29:02 PM
So yeah i've read some things about confidentional transactions to enhance privacy in Bitcoin, but i don't really know what it means.

Will Bitcoin enable anonymous transactions&addresses? So you could have an address and nobody knows how much Bitcoins you have/nobody can see your transactions/worth of transactions...?

What level of privacy/anonymity will these implementations provide?
The real question is why ?, the whole ida behiend using the blockchain netowrk is that every transactions is veriefied and made public, it is how the system works, while the transaction information are public, the users are still anonymous because they are hidden behiend their bitcoin address and not their personal information, i don't think that anonymous addreess and transactions would exist because they would still need to be verified by miners.
I think that I know the reason why the blockchain network is not totally anonymous. People who use bitcoin are always hiding behind their bitcoin address and also their personal information, so no one can know you exactly your location or what is your name or specific details like that, but they know how much do you have in your address and they can see your transactions. I don't think it will be right if you also hidden this thing, so then you can't even make any proof that you are already sending/receiving bitcoins.
334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At what point does mining stop? on: March 10, 2018, 10:20:09 PM
With the price plummeting I am wondering at what price will Bitcoin not be profitable to mine anymore? What is the break-even point?
What happens when the price is so low that it costs the miners more to mine BTC than it rewards them? What happens if they pull the plug? BTC is dead then?
Well no, the bitcoin mining is always going to be profitable no matter what the price is , the block  mining time and the difficulty are always chaning in order to adapt to the number of miners that are mining bitcoin, so if the bitcoin price goes down so is the mining time so means it will cost less to mine bitcoin, so as long as there is electricity and pople trying to mine even with their GPU's there will always be profit from bitcoin mining.
Well, this is true. Mining will be profitable even the price is too low, I don't think that mining will stop at any point in the future as long as there is electricity. This is right that the difficulty of bitcoin mining increase which you can't make a good profit unless you buy a good hardware, Like Antminer S9 or maybe with GPU's. I know some friends use GPU's and they made already a good profit each day even with this difficulty.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Exchange? on: March 10, 2018, 10:03:15 PM
I think that Poloneix is one of the best Exchanger in the internet. I have used it for a long time for trading and I never had a problem with this platform. You can trade easily there, when we talk about withdrawing and deposit money, all of these procedures will do in just a few minutes, the most important things are in the fees of exchanging or withdrawing, It's too low compared to other Exchangers, so that's the reason to why I recommend it for traders.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: What is The actual senses about bitcoin for common people ? on: March 10, 2018, 09:30:56 PM
All people do not believe in the online digital currency now because of the lack of knowledge about cryptocurrency. But now as they know the crypto, the negative thoughts about it are still not lost
for me except of being lack of knowledge most of the people now don't believe on virtual currency due to some fud's that always spreading negative news around the globe which is the common reason why the price is decreasing. Causes also why more people declined virtual currency nowadays.
I agree with you, Spreading FUD's in the internet contribute in destabilizing the power of bitcoin. They share some fake news about bitcoin, and the problem there is a lot of people believe this wrong idea and then they make some wrong decisions, like selling their bitcoin when the price is too low, or something like that. People should believe in bitcoin and crypto, they shouldn't trust any source of news.
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE!! on: March 09, 2018, 10:19:05 PM
We are into gadgets, most of the people are addict on it.
We spent more of our vacant time facing our Cellphones and Ipads.

Playing games and downloading some apps on the store require payments, Is this the best time for those stores to open their payment method with cryptocurrency specially Bitcoin?

It will be better to add a cryptocurrencies payment method in the play store or app store, so then we can pay easily and directly using our wallets. I think there is a lot of people didn't have credit cards yet, so the best thing is to add this feature for people who use crypto, Also it will be more safe, In addition, it will be a quick operation, just one or two clicks Instead of writing credit card details.
338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Saving for your Children Bitcoin vs Cash? on: March 09, 2018, 10:02:28 PM
Like every parents want to leave something for children for their future.

Which investment is safe?

Bitcoin?
Stocks?
Real Estate?

I think bitcoin will be great to invest in it for future purposes, but it is not safe enough, Anything can happen in the future, nobody knows, maybe bitcoin will disappear. Anyways, I think if you invest in real estate, it will be better for children for their future, at least they will have a home to live.
339  Other / Meta / Re: Does merit really helping the forum. on: March 09, 2018, 09:57:58 PM
You know, both are correct at same time.

1) Merit system has good impact for the forum. It has reduced the spam here considerably and even new members are making more detailed constructive posts. A lot of members came up with useful threads like stats and images for new forum rules.

2) Merit system has failed as well. Since the spammers are seeing all doors of getting away with spam posts and ranking up here on forum, they are using such terms for the merit system. They think that the decision will be reversed if they do so frequently.

It's too early to make this statement. What you've been seeing is the effect of having default sMerits in the accounts when the system was introduced. Once the decay of merit sets in and all the default merit is expired, it will become as difficult to rank up as the system intended. The spam posts will surely slow down even further than what we've seen. And before anyone says "It has been plenty of time since the system was introduced and it hasn't changed yet", there are still daily topics being started about merit, so there is still a large number of users who still don't know what the merit system is or that are not familiar with it.

Give it time, and you'll see that the system does what it is intended to do. It's just a matter of time before users realize that they cannot just farm alt accounts anymore for the sole purpose of joining bounty camps, and before the mass exodus of users who will start abandoning their accounts.
I agree with what you said, Merit system makes a very great change to improve this forum. Some people can't see that until now, but at the end, they will realize that is an awesome system and it was added at the right time when the forum had a plenty of spammers. So as you said, all of things will be clear in the future, just Give the system enough time.
340  Other / Meta / Re: Members applying in merit campaigns without being eligible on: March 09, 2018, 09:47:22 PM
I could fill a whole section of the forum with users who do not qualify for a campaign but apply anyways. I could also fill another section with users who do not follow the rules of the campaigns most of the time.

What it all boils down to is basic ignorance and disregard for rules. Alot of these users see a campaign open and apply blindly. They don't read any rules or requirements at all. They were just told, by their friends, that they could earn money making posts here. Those types of users are the type of user this forum does not need.

I see all kinds of ignorance on here. Users that will not make a post period unless they are in a sig campaign. They're not here to learn about bitcoin or other useful alts. They are here to earn money period. I'm not against someone earning some money for posting, but they should at least have an interest in something besides the money. It's very sad to grade the sheets every day and see the users that if the requirement is 25 posts, they do exactly 25 posts. Then if a thread is deleted and they lose 1-2 posts, I get a message whining "please pay me".

If you're gonna apply for a job, you should ALWAYS read the rules for said job if you expect to be paid. If you don't plan on reading the rules and requirements, don't cry when you're not paid or land on a blacklist.

Users should just be casually posting on topics that are of interest to them. Making 10-25 posts a week should be nothing if you only have 1 account and browse the forum.
This is what I saw already, The majority of people that they newly join this forum for the reason to make money, this is the main reason for joining, they don't care about the forum anymore. As you said, people who are already here tell their friends that there is signature campaign and they paid you by posting in the forum, They thought that this is too easy, they thought that they should write a required amount of shitty posts and paid easily. I don't like this anymore, so the required merit points of going signature campaign are a great idea to break shit posters. People now should write good posts to be eligible to join campaign as they should improve first their English and re enroll.
