321  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't you like about Banks and Banks controlling your money on: September 03, 2018, 10:09:32 PM
There is a withdrawal limit in my country. You can withdraw$ 2,000 per month. If the amount exceeds 2000, you will need to provide the Bank with the origin of the funds.
Those kind of measures are nothing but an attempt to avoid a bank run, they are just disguising those measures as a way to protect their customers, the owners of the banks are very smart they had been in the business for a lot of time and they know very well what it is going to happen once the system collapses, and they are preparing for that day, so if you can get all your money out of your bank, because when the economy crisis comes no one will be able to get their money out of the bank because there is not going to be any money.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Downsides to crypto on: September 03, 2018, 10:03:08 PM
If and when cryptocurrency and/or bitcoin becomes the official currency of the world, do you think there will be a downside to it? If so, what do you think the negative effect will be once cryptocurrency becomes a worldwide currency?
That is probably never going to happen and that is because of the biggest downside of bitcoin which is that is a coin designed for online payments, but even in this advanced and technological world from time to time you need cash, and the people that have the lowest incomes cannot afford to do a transaction online for their payments, they need to use a physical medium of exchange.

Is decentralization the answer to the flaws of democracy?: https://cryptocoin.news/analysis/watch-out-democracy-decentralization-is-coming-for-you-19778/

Could be, if used right.

Decentralization is the answer to avoid the abuse of those with power, democracy is only an excuse, we do not live in a democratic society, you may think we do but that is false, that is why the same people get elected over and over again, bitcoin is a protection against those people that think that they can do whatever they want with the country and their citizens.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will keep people from getting into cryptocurrency? on: September 03, 2018, 09:51:48 PM
I thought about the unpredictability of bitcoin and its current status and it made me realized that this might drive people away from getting into cryptocurrency. What do you think are the other reasons that will keep people from using bitcoin?
Some people do not really like to take risks and something like bitcoin is not really for them, and I understand them but at the same time they are missing in what it could be the greatest opportunity of their lifetime, this is similar to miss the dot com bubble except that it is way worse since it is very likely that bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are going to be way bigger than that.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: September 02, 2018, 02:11:30 AM
They should be aware of the internet world that everything is unsafe and very vulnerable to hacking. Make things as complex as possible so that hackers do not easily break anything valuable in the internet world. Hackers are on the wrong path, if hackers can be properly employed, maybe they will make a strong security system to apply to important and big websites in the internet world such as exchanges etc.
It should be the opposite, complex systems are easier to manipulate and are more likely to be induced to error, exchanges need to strengthen their security but at the same time they need to simplify it so it is more difficult for hackers to get access to the exchange, but since exchanges grow depending on the demand there are exchanges that do not have the adequate security because they became very popular in a short time frame.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it the best time to buy cheaper crypto while Bitcoin is at high price? on: September 02, 2018, 02:07:42 AM
So many crypto currencies are coming UP . They are much cheaper  than Bitcoin for now. It is so hard to decide  which to buy . Some are in good promos, to buy or invest to it while it is cheaper and sell when the price Will getting high. Is it a good idea to buy while we can not afford yet Bitcoin?
If you cannot afford to buy a bitcoin you are not alone, many people in the forum cannot do that either so you only have an option and that is to buy cheaper altcoins, but as you may guess the risk is high since you could easily lose your money if you invest in a number of bad alts, so you will have to diversify your portfolio, that way in case something happens to one of your alts you do not lose everything.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of altcoins? on: September 02, 2018, 01:53:56 AM
This crash has gotten way out of control even dash now over 90% correction, most investors will never return if the market is this weak.
Remember that the market is composed of people, and people can be extremely irrational in their behavior, I agree that the crash has gone too far and that many coins that are very good have very low values but if that is the case then just take advantage of the circumstances and set the grounds to make a fortune later when the prices recover in the next years.
Every altcoin has its own values, community and product if it is a long-term development project. So investors should choose good projects for you if you want to invest in altcoin because that is the key to the success of your investment project.
When it comes to new altcoins that is definitely a challenge because for every successful coin there are ten coins that are unsuccessful but the good thing about this bear market is that now you can pick almost any top coin and you can make a fortune if you invest enough money in coins like that and as long as you are willing to hold your coins for long enough.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BEST advice for this Crash on: September 02, 2018, 01:33:03 AM
1) Close the following windows in laptop or phone: coinmarketcap, blockfolio, cryptocompare
2) Live
3) Reopen in few months
4) Enjoy  Grin

this happened in the past, and will also happen again in the future.. Blockchain will succeed, the market is still only a minimal fraction of what it is going to be in some years.. dont be stupid.. dont follow the mainstream's fear. use your brain. this is all just panic. only the strongest hands will survive!

ps: keep the good vibe, ..positive comments  are welcome, ... negative comments keep for yourself or post in a suicide forum, i dont care! (THIS IS SPECIALLY DEDICATED TO YOU ..  username in bitcointalk : "ZOMBIES"   .. go away and buy a friend!)
Probably one of the best advices that I have seen in some time and yet it is quite simple, people worry too much about this market and if that is the case then they probably made the mistake of investing too much money in this market, money they could not really afford to lose but for the rest of us this is the perfect opportunity to relax, since the price is not going to move much anyway in the next months.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What new feature could potentially make bitcoin more valuable? on: September 02, 2018, 01:19:40 AM
I know that it's kinda 'big' question but it will be great to see what the community think about that.

what do you think can cause the price to go up?

We need the lightning network, bitcoin is a currency and the lightning network will make bitcoin overcome its biggest problem which is the scaling problem, once that is taken care of it could be a good idea to have some optional characteristic that made bitcoin truly anonymous for the users that want or need that, and finally smart contracts are a good idea as well.
330  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you still believe in btc price predictions? on: August 28, 2018, 09:39:23 PM
from the beginning I never believed in such predictions. early in the year many predicted that the price of bitcoin would be very high in 2018, but now they are all silent.

No one can really predict the possible price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in the future because it is unpredictable and always had an unstable price because of volatility. Many crypto analysts are trying to figure out when will the next bullrun happen but they failed to predict it accurately. So it might be better to monitor the market and study the price movement of the coins instead of relying on predictions.
It depends on the prediction itself, most predictions about it price of bitcoin are not going to come true and should not be taken seriously, but the predictions about what kind of future bitcoin will create are more important in my opinion and are closer to the reality, after all if someone predicted that bitcoin is going to be adopted globally and used all over the world I think that prediction is very accurate because there is almost no scenario in which bitcoin does not become an important currency in the world.
331  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC holding it's own trend? on: August 28, 2018, 09:32:11 PM
yes you are right bitcoin is currently falling and tends to go down so it is more likely to hold a holding until the price at the exchange place restores the price.

You can always take advantage of the market while the prices are falling because in this way you can invest more coin at its cheapest price which will make you earn more profit when the prices goes back to normal.
That is correct but many people depend for the price to go up in order to get profits and that is the case because they are not holding a lot of fiat, many of the investors put all their fiat already in cryptocurrencies so the price cannot go up unless new money begins to enter this market which is one of the reasons the market is taking so much time to recover.

I agree with you there must be new investors, who come in so prices will increase again because some investors have almost used their money to buy alt coins at high prices.
I really think that there are many new investors coming in this market but they are buying cryptocurrencies in such a way to try to not make the price to go up and as soon as they see the market going up they stop buying, they want to buy their coins as cheap as possible and then reap the benefits of their strategy in a few years so if you can do the same.
332  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin holders will have to pay their tax? on: August 28, 2018, 09:08:13 PM
What will happen on BTC if the government will said that all the bitcoin holder have to pay their tax??
Maybe the expansion of BTC community will get low than usual.
Paying taxes on bitcoin isn't nearly as hard as it sounds

Bitcoin has soared in value over the past year.
Paying taxes on bitcoin may seem daunting to people selling off their investments.
The reality is straightforward for most investors, based on how much you bought bitcoin for, how much you sold it for, and what you make in income.

That is one way to pay your taxes and I'm not against it, but what some governments want is that all the transactions generate a tax and for that you will need to know to who belongs every single address, and I do not know about you but I do not like that idea at all, fortunately it is very unlikely that the developers are going to agree with such a change in the code.
333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy Bitcoin now on: August 26, 2018, 04:34:04 AM
Buying bitcoin right now is one of the best things that you can do for your future but investors have become cynical, they are still very mad for all the money they lost at the beginning of this year and while I can understand that at the same time they are the only ones that are guilty of that since they basically choose the worst moment to invest despite all the warnings.
334  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Globalization on: August 26, 2018, 04:18:44 AM
It is possible that bitcoin will be the global currency of the future, but for this it is necessary to have a single state. If we consider that there are always conflicts between the governments of different countries, then either this will not happen soon or will not happen at all.
I do not know what people are thinking, bitcoin was designed to bring us freedom from the governments of the world and you are suggesting that we need to have a single government in the world? That cannot happen, just look at some of the attempts in the past to unify different countries, each one of those experiments have failed and if anything bitcoin will help us to avoid that to happen.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins which is good today to buy on: August 26, 2018, 04:04:04 AM
right now I want to buy altcoins, but I am still confused to choose a lot of his altcoins on the exchange, in your opinion, which altcoins is the best thing right now for me to buy?
I will buy ethereum immediately, many people are afraid at the moment since the price of ethereum and most of the market of alts is going down but you need to take advantage of it because if you do not the you are going to miss in some very cheap prices, and while I know it is risky if you do not take the risk then you are not going to get profits, this market and all the markets are like that.

You're absolutely right mate, as we here in the world of crypto currency risk is always in our side in which we try our luck here. Nowadays, market is so down as we didn't expect thet become so tremendously down that can give also to usba huge advantage to invest those altcoins have a potential that can definitely give to us a great amount of profit in the future.
I do not understand why other people do not see it, the price of ethereum is so cheap that you will easily multiply your money 5 to 10 times in just a few years by holding ethereum, it is probably the easiest money that you are ever going to make and yet people still have doubts, but I suppose that is what distinguishes the successful investors from those that are not.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Are Your top Concerns in Bitcoin and Crypto? on: August 26, 2018, 04:00:06 AM
What would be your top 5 to 10 concerns or questions you have for bitcoin and rest of cryptocurrency?

questions on future?

What is going on?
current state of affairs?
political?
social?
technology?
adaptation?
economical?

what are your concerns or questions you have that don't have answers to them at this time?
My biggest problem is the scaling problem, this has been the biggest problem for cryptocurrencies from the very beginning and once that is solved, and I think that is going to be solved, everything will begin to be more easy for bitcoin, but even if the Lightning network is being tested I still think we are not going to see it in full operation until some years pass.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: Simply predict the future of bitcoin on: August 26, 2018, 03:30:55 AM
The human mind is ever changing there's no algorithm or pattern about that. That's why we can't rely on past statistics cause it might become obsolete. All we can do is observe the whales new pattern, read and be updated to news. Price analysis is meaningless in crypto currency because it's very volatile.
This is correct, many see the patterns as just a form of mathematics but what they do not realize is that behind all of those numbers there are human beings behind it and many of them do not take decisions based on logic they take decisions based on their emotions, so when the market went down the panic took over this market and it is still ruling it.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: WHEN WILL PEOPLE LEARN? on: August 21, 2018, 09:56:48 PM
So saw many self airdrops of ERC20 tokens and wave platforms in social media. They would promise their investors a cheap token price purchase, and in turn promise a good listing price at the exchange. 98% of these self airdrop never make it to exchange, and the few that get listed in a decentralized exchange get pumped for 2hrs and there after dumped forever. Why do you think people still patronize these scamming project and not study good ICOs and buy?
People will never learn it is that simple, what happens is that people do not want to invest money and they still want to get huge profits, this means that they are looking for unconventional ways to get wealthy and as you may guess 99% of the time it does not work but from time to time someone will claim that he got a lot of money from an airdrop and the cycle will begin all over again.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: What don't you like about Banks and Banks controlling your money on: August 21, 2018, 09:48:43 PM
Banks are a continuous problem. Bureaucracy, time limits, withdrawal / enrollment limits / need to confirm the sources of the daughters. And most importantly - in any crisis simply freeze money on accounts. Continuous minuses.
The fact that banks can simply close their doors in the case of an economic crisis is very bothersome as well, they make guarantees they are going to pay you your money but when the time comes to fulfill their promises they accept they defrauded all the people and now you are the one paying the consequences of their mistakes, that is why I prefer bitcoin over those liars.
That is what we don't like about the bank, when a crisis occurs many banks provide special rules such as limits on the amount of withdrawals, even though it is our money right? they use our money to keep them safe and survive, there is no freedom at the bank, I don't like it..
And this is what I do not understand, why people keep trusting in banks? Since there are many examples of this happening, you only need to look ten years back in the past and you will find several banks that froze the accounts of their clients, which proves the money in your bank account is not yours since you do not control it, it belongs to the banks and they are keeping it there to protect themselves and nothing more, this is why bitcoin is such an incredible currency and will displace banks completely for people people like us.
340  Economy / Economics / Re: Whether Getting Married At a Young Age Can Lead To Poverty And Make Poor Economy on: August 21, 2018, 09:28:02 PM
Getting married at a young age won't make you poor.Having kids at a young age will make you poor for sure.
I don't know about your country, but rising a kid from it's birth to the age of 18 costs more than 150,000 USD in the USA.The cost might be lower in the other countries, but it's still a significant amount of money.

I agree getting married early does not mean that you will be poor, the fact that you have another person protecting your back and they have you too to protect theirs is great but adding kids to the mix will surely make you poor since in the economy of today you need a lot of preparation to get to the highest paid jobs, something that is very difficult if you have to feed a big family.
I'm not so sure about that number. $150,000 is $8,333 per year. That would be $694 per month. Where the heck is all that money going for one kid? I'm 100% sure that poor people in the US don't spend that much on their kids. I studied in the US and I could like on that easily each month, not counting my studies. When you have more kids, you spend less per child. You have hand-me-downs and it's cheaper per person to cook for more people. I don't live in the US right now, but there are 2 people in my family and we usually spend less than that on 2 adults. Everything is possible if you believe.
There are frugal people that spend less than that per child and that is fine and in fact I have seen higher numbers than the ones published here but it does not matter, adding a kid when you are very young is going to make very difficult for you to become successful in the future, in the economy of today you need a lot of time and effort to get a good job and if you have a child you will need to concentrate on getting money now and not on improving yourself and your ability to make money in the future.
