it is the smartest thing to do. the ones that make huge profits are always long term holders. just buy strong coins and forget them for a few years. i am sure you will make a good profit comparing with daily traders.

I want to put some money into BTC, just in case, I also wouldn't mind learning to profit off trading them weekly or on a daily basis, I see potential. It looks alot more easier than forex and quicker than stocks.
Where do I start?
P.S - How is BTC expected to be the future if it so volatile, you will always have to worry about how much your paying ETC.
well, it is not late even a very good time to invest in crypto market. i advice you to join crypto market as soon as possible with a small amount of money in the beginning. and as soon as you become more familier to this ecosystem you can increase the amount. |

i am not sure. total market cap is still not enough. and when it is climbing up, dominance of bitcoin is also raising paralelly. for an uptrend, marketcap should be about 500 billion and dominance should be less than 50%.

i warn you not to wait in expected and shilled altcoins like stratis. you can ofcourse make profit but you cant make x20 x30 with them. you should find one that not so many people aware about it. you should check for hidden gems. |

you can sell on exchanges. check coinmarketcap site and find if it is listed or not. if it is not yet listed on coinmarketcap, you can still check idex. because many erc20 tokens are being listed there in the beginning.

everybody knows that this crypto market is very open to manipulations. beccause it is new born and volumes are not so high. they can be manipulated very easily with someone with a good cash. and that is why volatility is so high. |

i dont like the idea of trading on centralized exchanges. but there is no good decentralized exchange platform yet, i have to use them. i try to use the ones that haave highest volume such as binance, bittrex. they are more or less ok.

I invested approx. $3000 in project PundiX 4months back.Its price rises 10X folds from there. I am receiving dividend on my investment since last 4months and I already received more than my investment.But since last month after listing on Binance its price fall every day and now only 3X fold from my investment.I am not losing but regular fall in price is frustrating. PundiX is backed by dedicated team and good product.Anyone else invested in this project and want to share views.Welcome.....
i also hold some pundix. i like the project and i believe that it has a good future in the ecosystem. moreover i dont want to sell them because they distribute 7 percent of my holding amount every month. it is something very profitable. |

there are so many good project that launched at the end of 2017 and 2018 but couldnt priced up because of this bearish market ongoing for 7 8 months. i can say bluzelle, wanchain and iota can be good choices for 2018.

i am not sure aabout it. anything that announce using crypto currencies, makes advertisement of blockchain technology. this increases the hype and popularity of all crypto market.

dont be scared. crypto market is red for about 7 months. it is not only today or yesterday. everybody is waiting for a new bull run to make some profit in near future. you should also just hodl and wait.

Do you guys think that it is possible to be successful if I want to hold ( a year), but look at the charts only once a week (even less), then trade only if I see a huge loss? Let's say I set a loss of 10% now, will I have to trade a lot?

it is for sure possible to make a good profit hodling 1 year. if you buy the good altcoins with huge potential, you will possibly make a very good profit. and you can not compare this profit with other investment methods like gold, silver etc.because it will be much higher. |

crypto is not dead. compare the prices and market with 1 year ago, 2 years ago, 3 years ago. you will see that it is still growing. you can not say it is dying by cchecking only past few weeks or months.

there are so many scam projects in the market nowadays. actually reason is decentralized ecosystem. there is no regulations against scamming. that is why everybody should search carefully before investing.
